(Revised July 2018)The paper box, which feels similar to a paper milk carton, was slowly beginning to sag and swell a little near the bottom, as I had previously seen. Because my kids absolutely adore popcorn, the box is taken out of the pantry cupboard every other day, and all this handling over the previous few months was also creating some minor wear and tear on the box. I could just make out that the box's seam would eventually give way, spilling a pile of vivid yellow-orange powdered salt all over the floor. Therefore, I transferred the contents to a glass jar with a latching top that you can purchase at Wallyworld for approximately $3. The flavoring is still fantastic, but the container is now more resilient and worry-free! It's also interesting to note that I haven't seen any clumping of the powder even after using it for a while. I'm a little concerned since I'm not sure what chemical mixture is working its magic to make sure that doesn't happen, but I just keep telling myself that this is better for me than microwave popcorn and continue eating another great bowl of popcorn.** The key to recreating movie theater popcorn at home is this Flavacol. Additionally, use tinted coconut oil. Use the coconut oil that contains beta carotene if you want your popcorn to have a strange yellow/orange colour. Otherwise, you can still make great movie theater popcorn using uncolored coconut oil, but most of it will be whitish natural colored popcorn, which, at least for my kids, implies it's not the same thing, no matter how delicious and real it may taste. I am primarily dissatisfied with the price here. I was able to find these individually at my neighborhood grocery store for considerably less than this box. The majority of the flavors are decent, but some require a lot of application. This is for a large commercial style popcorn machine that will be used to sell popcorn to the general public at a pumpkin patch. Because the flavors are not strong enough, it didn't work as intended. To get adequate flavor, we would consume an entire bottle in just a few batches of popcorn. I might continue to buy a few kinds at my neighborhood supermarket. I can get exactly the tastes I like for a lot less money than I could here.

I adore this stuff to death. My family members are all hateful, therefore I don't mind that they are the only ones who share my sentiments. When I noticed this sampler pack, I decided to get it because none of the locations I frequent ever carried more than two or three of the flavors.I microwave the popcorn until it is dry, then spray it with a butter-flavored spray (Can't Believe It's Not Butter is excellent), salt-substitute, or one of these flavorings. In this manner, you can consume a substantial amount of the food for only 200 calories!This implies that the butter-flavored topping is a little unnecessary for me; nevertheless, your experience may differ. Great cheesy flavor without overpowering the popcorn itself, the white cheddar is extremely wonderful. Nacho cheese is the same. The ranch is better than I had anticipated; it has more of an onion flavor. The caramel could be much more potent. I've always been a huge fan of popcorn, but this has definitely made my addiction worse. If you want to emulate a movie theater, you need this. However, use with caution as this is strong stuff! Since you can always add more, I'd start out slowly at first. Your tongue definitely won't like it if you overdo it.I've discovered that using butter-flavored coconut oil (I use Nutiva) and waiting until the oil is hot is the best way to make stovetop popcorn. If you add the oil too soon, it will burn to the bottom of the pan. The remaining kernels are added, and I top them with some flavacol to help them spread out evenly as they pop. When the popping stops, I drizzle oil over the top, sprinkle additional flavacol on top while it's still wet to help the salt adhere to the kernels, and mix everything thoroughly.It's tough to use in the box they arrive in, but I was able to easily fix this by using a spice jar and an oil dispenser. That is the only problem I have. This gave better control and made things much simpler and cleaner.Undoubtedly not the healthiest choice available, but a fantastic substitute for the $10 movie theater popcorn.
