I was about to give these back. My Zodiac MX8 is mine. The Zodiac hoses are ridiculous. The pool shop where I purchased it wanted $28 per section, but I only required 8 to 10. Run the numbers. For the price, I purchased these, however they did not fit. I then began the return. Then I discovered a $18 adapter that Zodiac offers. It succeeded. Therefore, as of right now, my pool vacuum is operating great with hoses that are more affordable. These are the best if you have a zodiac and don't want to spend any money. I'm hoping to be able to include a photo of the connections. The adapter is inserted into the new hoses and the leaf catcher.

I bought a six-pack of these in August and replaced my whole hose with the exception of one section that needs to be shorter in order to achieve the precise length I require for the size of my pool. I haven't had any problems with leaks, breakage, or piece separation, and my vacuum head hasn't come off either. The components did not fit as readily as my old hose, but they did fit together well. I allowed them to soften in the sun on the pool deck so I could put them together with the greatest and tightest fit possible. My only issue is that, due to the extremely tight fit, I am unable to twist the hose pieces at the connectors in an effort to "retrain" the sweeping pattern. My hose needs this done every few months, or else it doesn't completely clean the surface. I don't want to have to disassemble everything, rearrange the parts, and hope that it bends differently than the hose is used to doing it in the freezing conditions. But I can make this work because I needed hose right now and this is what my budget allowed.on 8/16/19, EDIT/FOLLOWUP I wanted to let you know that these hose components are still in good condition; they have no leaks or holes, and they have completely held together. I'm impressed and grateful that this little item has endured for such a long time. Absolutely worth the price.

To replace the hoses on my Polaris that were at least 15 years old, I bought three of these. The new hoses are so much more flexible than the previous ones, I can hardly believe it. The Polaris was continually getting tangled, getting stuck in corners, going in circles, and driving on its side because the original hoses were so stiff. I removed everything from the pool out of irritation for a few months, vacuuming it solely by hand, until I saw the other reviews for this product.As stated in other reviews, my Polaris is operating more effectively than I can recall. Since I fitted the new hoses, it hasn't become kinked or stuck, and the pool now appears clean. Because the line hadn't been enlarged before, I found it a little challenging to install the hose swivels. I assisted with their assembly by using some PTFE lubrication. On initial assembly, a little low heat from a blow dryer or heat gun might also assist to slightly inflate the hose, but I didn't attempt that.My one caution is that you can find these exact hoses on PoolZoom for around $5 less per section of 10 feet, but I'm still delighted with the pricing because it's far less expensive than purchasing them from a nearby pool supply shop, where the costs are practically extortionate. Although PoolZoom allows you to use your Amazon billing information to make payments, I was unable to use my Amazon gift card to make the transaction, which is why I bought them here. In any case, these hoses were priceless.

I didn't notice the damaged hose until after the pool was set up and filled when my Intex 15' x 48" pool was delivered. Since more than 30 years ago, I have bought replacement hoses.First and foremost because of their pricing, these particular hoses make excellent replacements. These kind of pool hoses must be replaced because they do not last forever. This particular manufacturer has discovered a very good source for manufacturing products that are well-made, universally compatible with other brands, robust, have significant suction power, and perform admirably in all applications. Given that they are fresh new, I estimate that they will last 3-5 seasons with careful washing and storage. When winterizing, a light silicone spray will make them last longer. We are delighted and will buy these from this fantastic seller once more! I'm grateful.

I was seeking for a hose that I could use to drain water from a low area in my yard by connecting it to a pump. I was concerned after reading several reviews that claimed this hose was too narrow and too short to fit over the pipe it was intended to fit. I purchased a 2" hose since I needed to connect it to a 1 1/2" pvc pipe. It has performed flawlessly. I secured the hose to the pipe with a clamp. I've drove over the hose numerous times without experiencing any problems, and it empties at the end of my driveway. Although I wouldn't describe it as heavy duty, I kind of expected it to be extremely thin, thus I was surprised that it was thicker than I had anticipated.
