Ideal for scrubbing down my fish pond.I can remove leaves that have fallen to the bottom by extending the handle across the pond and down to the water's surface. The handle is sturdy enough to lift the leaves to the surface, but when the net rises to the top, I can feel it flexing somewhat. In order to protect the net handle at that time, I bring the net closer to myself. The net has a built-in plastic shield that prevents abrasion and is flexible enough to effortlessly gather leaves from the bottom.This would be a safe way to catch shibunkin in my pond without having to worry about harming them.With my purchase, I'm pleased.

I adore the koi viewing tank because it allows me to measure my young fish and see all of their gorgeous colors and patterns up close. Although the survey seemed to be well-made, I didn't enjoy the internet. The holes are too large, and koi fins kept getting tangled in them, endangering your youngsters. I wished I had taken photos of the fish in the net, but I wasn't even considering it. My sole concern was the fish. I can only offer 4 stars, thus.

I invested in a low-wattage pump that, while operating at peak efficiency, moves "Just enough" water, but if any leaves or other debris got past its filter, it would quickly slow down to a trickle. I turned everything off, cleaned the pump, placed it inside this bag, and put it back into my filter box. Now that it has been functioning for a few weeks without any slowdown at all, I'm satisfied. We're in pollen season right now, and this mesh bag keeps my pump functioning well. The material is a hard rubbery material that won't flex and then get dragged into your pump.

Years ago, the skimmer net that was included with our pond's installation broke. adore it collects all of the little trash and algae. I combine it with the fish- and plant-safe Aquascape 40006 flocculant, which clumps things. In my skimmer, I also use it with Aquascape 80001 filter pads. On a level surface, the scoop works effectively. performs poorly on curved surfaces and okay on corners. To bear pressure from fine mesh, the pole is strong enough. flexible pole with a drying loop. able to collect up the items that my kids toss in, including little pebbles. Plastic is used as a protection on the bottom surface of the net to protect it. The net will survive if you take precautions, rinse after each use, store out of the sun (mine is in the garage), avoid picking up sharp branches, and don't rub along hard surfaces. I've owned mine for more than three years and just bought a second. high worth and value. PS: I wish replaceable skimmers without poles were available.

This net was purchased for my backyard pond. I have to move stones that fall in, pick up rubbish from the bottom, and occasionally capture fish. This net is soft and big enough for the Koi, plus it has a lovely opening with a flat part to scrape the bottom with. Reaching the other side is made simpler by the handle's ability to telescope out to around 6'.The only problem I have with it is that when I scoop up too much garbage and lift it out, the net ring appears to bend. Due to the size of the net, it is simple to overfill it, which causes it to become too heavy. You shouldn't lift more than a pound or two with it, in my opinion. It's an excellent net for general upkeep in all other respects.

I got a second since I enjoyed the first model so much. In Northern New York, we have a little second home on a lake. The bay is still covered in water, and the shoreline can occasionally get muddy and overgrown. particularly in the beginning of the season when the leaves are starting to rot. This is a beast, no doubt. scoops up dirt and detritus, while the tines also pluck weeds by scraping them. After several hours of laborious cleaning, the shoreline is suitable for kayaking and wading into the lake. My original model lasted for 8 years! I can clean in even deeper water with this longer version. a strong, durable build. The debris can be scooped up by the basket in a sizable amount. I can see how someone may consider it to be "heavy" in and of itself, but as a man in my late 40s, I had no issues.
