I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software problem, but it looks that the PS3 and PS4 systems start to operate poorly if steady power is supplied to them for an extended period of time. My PS3's system experienced an orange light failure and an overheating prompt (even though I just turned the system on). My PS4's issue was that the disc drawer wouldn't properly load discs. Having these switches to just flip on and off makes it quite convenient because both problems were resolved when I completely removed my systems, restarted them, and then plugged them back in a short while later. Since I started using this switch for my systems, I have NEVER experienced a console failure. I simply turn off all of the power going to the units after a game (just make sure the systems are completely off before cutting off the power). It's unfortunate that these switches aren't widely available at stores that sell video game consoles.

This was purchased to go with the Street Fighter 15th Anniversary Fighting Stick that I already purchased for my PlayStation 2. I choose to use my PS3 after discovering it in the garage. I had to force the system to shut down when I first connected it. The PS3 kept repeating the same action when I turned it back on. After several tries, I was able to get the button in the middle of the device to operate.The good news is that it performs admirably once the system eventually recognizes the stick. It responded quickly, and all the buttons mapped exactly as promised. It's just annoying that I have to keep fiddling with it in order for the PS3 to recognize it. I tried it on my PS4 and encountered the same problems, but after a few attempts, I managed to get this outdated piece of hardware to function on a PS4!Overall, I believe this is a good value given the cost. My hardware was somewhat outdated, so when Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite and Injustice 2 release, I'll definitely wind up purchasing a new controller. I can use the older stick to play Street Fighter V and other games for the time being. Thanks!

Due to the fact that I don't own a PS4, I'm not accustomed to using the controller. On a friend's PS4, I examined the adaptor.Switch Pro-con With Magic- S to PS4 tested, and it performs flawlessly!Both the wired USB mode and the wireless Bluetooth mode on the switch Pro-Con worked. Rumble is still present while using the PS4 adaptor.didn't kick me out even after playing for about an hour (as some people may have complained in previous firmware with PS4 or the adapter that it did after 10 minutes).If it doesn't seem to be working, keeping the firmware updated on the Magic S adaptor should help.Although pairing Joy-cons can be challenging, it should work with them as well. If one doesn't timing hitting the sync button exactly, the adapter may occasionally only identify one joy con. I haven't gotten a chance to really settle down and connect my joysticks and adapter to a PS4 yet. I still think it would function properly if one knew how to sync the joysticks.Edit: 8/17/19On the PS4, joysticks also function with this adaptor, albeit it can be challenging.Pairing the right side, then the left, then both is the key to synchronizing joysticks.1. Unpair your joycons from your switch so that they are no longer associated with the switch.2. Connect your PS4 to a TV and an outlet.3. Connect the PS4's USB adaptor.4. Switch the adaptor on so that a slow blue blinking light appears.5. When it is still slowly blinking, hit the right Joy-sync Con's button.6. Next, push the adapter's button to enable quick blinking.7. Watch for the matching solid color to appear (test by pressing a button)8. Press the adapter once more to make it flicker slowly. (It will momentarily stop working)9. Press Sync on the left joystick.10. Press the adapter's sync button to make it flash before waiting for it to turn solid (now the left joy con should be paired, but not both at the same time yet).11. Press the adapter again to get slow blinking so that both can be paired.12. Press the left and right Joy-sync Con's buttons simultaneously.Press the adapter's sync button to enable quick blinking.14. It arrived today with with the optional Bluetooth extension, and it was well made and simple to use as long as you followed the instructions.The following standouts:1. I was completely unaware of latency. Quickly and exactly respond.2. Perfectly support my Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro V3 in terms of rumble, wireless control, headphone compatibility, touchpad, and other features. CM didn't offer me that, though.3. I DON'T need to connect two controllers to Titan in order to stabilize the authentication process (we had to connect our preferred controller to port 1 and the stock controller to port 4 in order to successfully complete continuous authentication, remember?) I haven't seen anyone else use Nacon's Authentication natively, which I found to be the case. So all I have to do is plug in the Nacon USB dongle. This one adds significantly.Following a one-week test drive, a follow-up comment will be provided. And happy gaming!

I purchased this to link my PC to a Guitar Hero 1 SG controller. The whammy bar didn't work, but it generally works wonderfully. I am unable to comment on whether the tilt sensor in my guitar is functional because it is broken. I ultimately purchased a different adaptor somewhere (one recommended by the devs for clone hero for this exact reason). I am unable to vouch for how well it functions with common controllers.

The functionality of this tool was perfect for my needs. I was able to quickly learn the GPC language, utilize it with both the PS4 and Xbox One, and create my own scripts to auto-farm my favorite games. The ChronusMax USB stick's equivalent, the Titan One, was a better gadget. The ChronusMax had a tendency to lose connection with the console after a while, whereas the Titan One was reliable.
