A mezzaluna is a half-moon shaped knife that is often used for chopping herbs. It can also be used for cutting pizza. To use a mezzaluna to cut pizza, first place the pizza on a cutting board. Then, hold the mezzaluna in one hand and use the other hand to guide it as you cut the pizza into slices.
There is no one answer to this question. While some people in Italy may cut their pizza with scissors, others may use a knife or even their hands. It really depends on personal preference.
Cutting a deep dish pizza can be tricky because of its depth. The best way to cut a deep dish pizza is to use a sharp knife and cut it in a downward motion. Start by cutting the pizza in half, then cut each half into quarters.

Works flawlessly! The only issue I have with this pizza cutter is that my 14-year-old son uses it so frequently that none of our other pizza cutters are getting used. Since this was delivered, the others have just sat in the drawer, so I seriously believe they are suffering from depression. This 14 "A sandwich, piece of toast, or even a frozen pizza may be quickly and cleanly cut with a pizza cutter. We have made an effort to diversify our suggestions for things to reduce, but who can resist pizza? Just so you can use this pizza knife, you could find yourself eating pizza far too frequently. There are many options available to you if this occurs, including making calzones, sub sandwiches, toast, pancakes, waffles, maple bars, bagles, and if you really want to use your 14-day supply of food "If you use your pizza cutter on something a little bit healthier, like vegetables, you can use it to make yourself a chopped salad. However, if you use your pizza cutter on tomatoes, you should be aware that it won't work as well.Really, this is a terrific pizza cutter, and my son enjoys using it to quickly crunch through a pizza pie like they do in a pizzeria. He must feel like a skilled pizza cutter because of that. I sincerely hope he has loftier goals when he grows up!

This pizza cutter is excellent. It doesn't feature a CD-sized blade that prioritizes style over utility. The blade is heavy gauge, exceptionally sharp (for a pizza cutter), and includes a plastic blade guard for storage. The guard prevents cuts as well as the dulling of the pizza cutter's blade in case youngsters or other heedless individuals start poking about in the drawer where it is kept. You'll particularly love this if you're sick of the thin, flexible, dull pizza cutters from the grocery store with the grip quality of a dollar store.

When I was in college, I cut a lot of pizzas while working for Domino's and Pizza Hut. I believe that I understand the pizza cutter wheel a little better than the average person. It cuts really beautifully, to start. The handling was simple, second. It feels more sturdy to grip onto one part of the wheel than the handle that sticks out. Really simple physics. Third, and this is the one about which I was concerned. How should I wash this? The plastic handle actually breaks in half. I placed every component in the dishwasher, and presto! It was prepared for a second cut the following day. It works great so far with frozen pizzas. Digourno and I both utilized it. It has a rising, occasionally thick crust. However, the size and positioning of this blade allowed me to cut without having to contact the hot cheese or topping.Pro: It delivers on its promises quite effectively. decent bargain.Cons: I'm at a loss for words.

A chic small pizza cutter from Kitchen Aid has been made; it is strong and prepared to cut through even the thickest crust. It feels substantial in your hands and is pretty heavy. Although the handle is plastic, the product has a quality feel to it due to the lack of loose pieces and noisy plastic. The blade itself has an excellent tapper and is pretty thick. It is sharp enough to cut through any crust and sturdy enough to endure intense pressure. It won't flex or buckle like a cheap pizza cutter would. The middle screw/nut may be susceptible to rust, as some have suggested, but I found that with good maintenance, you can prevent rust on any kitchen equipment. I like to treat screws and nuts with some sort of oil to help keep them dry and protected from moisture. The most crucial thing is to hand dry the garment after washing it soon after use. If you soak a lot of things in dishwater and then let them dry by air, they will rust. By taking care of your possessions properly, you can completely eliminate rust. Conclusion: A excellent small cutter that is both fashionable and sturdy.

It's far larger than I had anticipated and wow, is it hefty. It's undoubtedly robust, and I think it will persist for a while. My previous OXO, which lasted for at least seven years but had a plastic center fastener for the wheel that broke off, prompted me to purchase this (I love OXO).I bought this one because I saw that it has a metal center fastener, but I didn't realize how much bigger it was than my old one. It appears to be made of solid steel and has a rubber coating for a grip, but seriously, it has some nice heft, which will likely be useful for situations where you accidentally overcook a crust and it becomes extremely thick and crispy.Thank you, OXO, for yet another product that is pleasant to hold.

This is far superior to a standard box cutter in terms of cutting boxes. I've had to use a box cutter for job and volunteer projects when I needed to complete tasks, and I've done both with regular and various types of cutters. This cutter's curved design actually makes it extremely simple to operate with your hands, especially if you have small hands or joint trouble. The end has a bent loop for simple insertion and removal from pouches or pockets on cargo pants.Only one blade is enclosed and ready to use when you purchase this, which is a little drawback. You'd have to think about purchasing another to place into the enclosed holder at the tip if you're the type of person who prefers to have an extra blade for whatever reason. If you wanted to cut deeply, it would not be possible because of how little the point from which the actual blade extends is. Though most boxes are thin, you might need to cut them more than once. Despite this, there shouldn't be much of an issue. This is something to think about if you don't mind investing some money on a better-than-average cutter and a small investment for work, personal use, or any requirement. This will be really useful to me, thus I think the cost was justified.
A pizza knife is not the only way to cut a pizza. You can use a regular kitchen knife or even a pair of scissors. Just be sure to use a sawing motion and not a chopping one, as you could damage the pizza.
You should wait at least 15 minutes for your pizza to cool before cutting into it. If you're in a hurry, you can wait 10 minutes, but any less than that and you risk burning yourself.
A pizza cutter is definitely worth it! It makes cutting pizza a breeze and clean up is a snap. Plus, it's just way more fun to use a pizza cutter than a dull knife.
Pizza is best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, but that doesn't mean you should dive in without letting it cool first. Letting pizza cool for about five minutes before cutting and eating allows the cheese to set and the crust to crisp up slightly, giving you the perfect slice of pizza. So next time you're ready to eat, give your pizza a few minutes to cool down first.
No, you should not use scissors to cut pizza. Pizza is best cut with a knife and fork, or a pizza cutter. Scissors can squish the toppings and make a mess.
There are a few things you can use to cut pizza if you don't have a pizza cutter. A knife will work, but be careful not to cut yourself. You can also use a pair of scissors.
