Initially, there was some hesitation about buying and utilizing these command strips because of concerns that the glue would damage or mar surfaces. These are used to hang wreaths and other holiday decorations on a stained wooden front door.The experience was excellent after purchasing, utilizing, and removing a decorative 3M door hanger. We may see a variety of temperatures and weather patterns as it is winter. The mount was only used for a short while before being taken down. Removal was simple and left no residue or surface damage. The experience could vary if things are used frequently or permanently. Long-term use is excellent.How to install the strips is explained in the package. Being a visual learner, it is much preferable to find a YouTube video to assure perfect installation. The refills were delivered in non-OEM packaging, such as an envelope. They were contained in a clear plastic bag that was the right size.Replacements were required after deciding to use these 3M products and command strips. The replacement strips are more difficult to find in retailers than the various mounts. There were simply packages of various sizes available in stores. There was only one size required, so I looked on Amazon and there it was! I not only found this bulk box in the required size, but the price was also excellent. I constantly use these. They are mostly used by me to hang acoustic panels. They are practically eternal, one in each corner. Don't do what I did and put them on the ceiling; they all fell on me.Advantages: - Sticky - Indestructible (at least 1 year)When I removed my acoustic panels after a year, there was no damage to anything because they are small and don't protrude too far from the wall. They are quite simple to remove!Cons: - Insufficiently weak to support a little foam square on the ceiling. (However, I doubt that most of you will experience that problem:P)- One time usage only. The panels simply weren't adhesive enough to adhere to a different wall a second time when I tried to move them there.

I rigged it to work for me. I applied the strip with the adhesive on the internal window siding and sewed the other side into my window curtain. It has been strong and has prevented my cat from getting through it.P.S. I'm not a cruel landlord, but when we first moved here, my landlord only allowed us to have one pet. The mother left this stray kitten in my backyard. Although he isn't a terrible cat, I simply cannot allow him to hang out at the front window where he will be seen. Although I had seen the advertisements on television and in the newspaper, I didn't truly think that anything so lightweight could actually resolve my issue. I'm someone who collects pictures and needs a means to hang them on walls without causing too much harm, or in other words, without making too many holes in them. I knew there had to be a better way, but I just couldn't persuade myself that it had been discovered. I'll give it to you; it's been located. Pictures don't collapse or rip painted walls apart. In my laundry area, I utilized this to hang a wooden sign. It has so far held up even though I was worried it would be too hefty for the strips. I placed three, one in the center and one on each side. These resemble velcro, however instead of the fuzzy material on one side, they have loops on both sides. The picture is held up when you press them together. Since these were command strips, I was able to quickly relocate it when I felt I had set it too high. However, when I pulled it down, one of the strips separated from the wooden sign. It has held up thus far, even though the instructions state that you should hang it, take it down, and let it set for an hour.TL; DR:Holds a rather large amount. Strips that stick and come off easily. appears to be firmly attached to the wall and has no risk of falling.Cons: If you follow the directions, there will be a long wait. One of the strips separated off the painting but continued to be locked with the strip on the wall.

I've bought these in every size several times. I have never had a problem with them not sticking when applied as instructed or damage paint when removed.I've had to carefully peel off the remaining half of a strip after unintentionally shredding it halfway through removal.After some trial and error, I've discovered that it's simple to make sure that these remove perfectly if I draw the tab down gently, make sure I'm pulling precisely parallel to the strip, and pull flush with the wall.To hang anything heavier than a feather, I press each side after application firmly for the full 30 seconds and let both sides rest after application for an hour (as per the instructions). I also always follow the directions and clean the surfaces with 99% isopropyl alcohol first, let it dry, and hang it only after these steps.These have been useful for hanging not only photos but also white boards, magnetic bulletin boards, tape dispensers, pencil cups, and surge protector strips. anything that I might wish to reposition or put up again.
