In order to always have an extra paddle, I misplaced my and wanted to replace it. These two XS paddles caught my eye because they had good reviews. I was first quite hesitant to purchase these (two) cheaper paddles, which were around the same price as the one I bought five years ago. However, as it was only to have ADDITIONAL paddles, I still ordered them. For the past two weeks, I have been playing with them. As of right now, these paddles feel just as fantastic as my more expensive one. They weigh very little. The hold is solid. When the ball strikes it, the hit is powerful and simple to handle (provided I am doing my part). Similar in size and shape as the one I've been playing with for the past five years (and still love). One of the paddles will go to my daughter, who has only recently taken up pickleball. Being an intermediate player, I suggest this paddle to players of all abilities. I've now used this paddle for more than a year. I purchased two, one for my wife and the other for myself. I had never played before, and now that I'm a 3.5 player, I've tried a variety of paddles.First off, the paddle has a wonderful sweet spot and is very robust. It has good control and strikes forcefully. It is not light, though. In fact, at 8.9 ounces, I would say it is heavier than normal. In serious play, such as defending against a banger or hitting a drive, this means that it takes a little bit longer to get into position and requires more muscle to use the paddle. That's great if you have the strength, but not so great if your strength is only average.Regarding value, this paddle costs roughly half as much as a paddle from a well-known company, and mine has held up really well. Therefore, the value is superb.The paddle has an excellent feel. I like that it has a sizable sweet spot and minimal noise. Unlike some paddles, it creates a "thwop" sound instead of a "ping." A pleasant, strong sound that does not annoy. Little vibration occurs.I upgraded from a wooden (yes, wooden) paddle when I purchased this one. paddle, and knew very little about pickleball or paddles (don't make that rookie error!). For someone at that level who does not want to spend a lot of money on a name brand paddle, I would suggest this paddle.A thicker, lighter paddle is what I would suggest for a player who is level 3.5. In order to move the paddle quickly and strike shots off-center with the utmost control, I want to find a paddle with the biggest sweet spot that is also the lightest. My new pickleball paddle set is fantastic. The paddles have an excellent balance and are lightweight. After using the set a few times, it appears to be of very high quality. The paddles' wrapped handles make them incredibly cozy to hold. We enjoy the bag. It appears to be well made, has numerous zippered pockets, a softly padded shoulder strap, and it holds everything you need for pickleball or tennis. I appreciate that it has a mesh bag on the outside for a water bottle. It zips completely, and two pickleball paddles fit inside with ease. Tennis racquet handles may protrude slightly, however contrary to what I might have anticipated, the zipper kept in place tightly around the handle without slipping. Two pickleball paddles fit perfectly, but two tennis racquets are a little difficult to fit (one is good). A quality Pickleball set can be quite difficult to get. Knowing if you're getting decent paddles is difficult.We tested the Amazin' Aces against our premium paddles and an entry-level/middle-grade paddle because our family enjoys playing pickleball, and the results were unexpected.—- Poundage. Are they particularly overly hefty for younger players? —-The Aces is 10.3 ounces in weight. 10.3 ounces may not seem like much, but if a paddle weighs too much, it might start to be problematic.These are the paddles that we tested.Here is what we went through. The weight was perfect for me as an adult, and I enjoy my 7.5 ounce Franklin Python.The cost of the paddle increases with weight (usually). We have a Franklin Viper paddle made of carbon fiber that weights 8.2 pounds in addition to the aluminum Python that I use. Both were pricey ($60–$90). A Franklin Volt that weighs 10.5 pounds and costs roughly $10 is also available.Even if a lighter paddle is useful, it's not the only thing. The balance of the paddle is important in several ways.The longer handle makes the Aces feel fantastic. In order to compare the Franklin Volt, which weighs about the same but does not feel as good, I will post a picture with the review.The Amazin' Aces feel better in my hands than the $10 Franklin Volt because of the longer handle.When held, it simply feels very well-balanced. We let our kids use the professional paddles we have before having them use the Amazin' Aces. Actually, two of our children preferred the Amazin' Aces. Our pro one is preferred by one of our children, but that says a lot about the Amazin' Aces.The 10.3 ounce weight of the paddle didn't affect the youngsters, and they had a terrific time playing.I believed the weight would be a problem while I played. Despite being so accustomed to our lighter paddles, I had no problem with it. Because of my carpel tunnel syndrome, I watch my wrists carefully. These paddles won't likely replace my current favorites, but they are perfectly acceptable and great for when we have a larger number of players. You can give one to a buddy without worrying that they won't play well because it is a nice paddle.The Feel and Sound —-I get a wonderful sense of satisfaction after striking the ball. I don't know, perhaps I'm venting my harsh feelings. But I adore the sensation and sound I get when I play Pickleball.The Amazin' Aces' connection with the ball is amazing. The sound and feel of the knock that occurs when the ball makes contact with the wood are perfect.Now contrast that with the basic Franklin Volt paddle, which is uncomfortable to use while contacting the ball. It might be related to how poorly the Volt is wrapped at the handle. The Aces have better handle padding and are very neatly wrapped. It's also possible that the Aces' somewhat longer grip improves the hit's feel.Love that feeling once more.— Handle Grip —The handle of the paddle has a very snug grip. Even our professional paddles are not well-wrapped. We discovered no difficulties with the wrap's top (where we see most problems). It adheres firmly and tightly.The grip is really comfortable, and the padded ridges improve the playing experience even more.Although not required, the wrist strap (or hanging strap) is great. It's not a good idea to use a paddle if you have players who frequently let go of it.Exist any Drawbacks? —-Too many things, in my opinion, could be improved.1. I wish the paddle's edges had been better-sanded. Although they aren't particularly rough, they did catch on some fabric in my bag, making it difficult to put them there. It would feel better to run my hand along the edges. I can correct it with some very fine sandpaper, so it's not a big concern, but I really wish it were already smooth.2. The balls weren't spectacular, but they are decent entry-level balls. Franklin balls, which come in sets of three, fly like magic. The Franklin balls flew more accurately than the Aces balls, as we discovered. My children all agreed that the Franklin balls were the superior balls after I let them play with both kinds.However, the Aces are a component of a kit and offer a decent value, so it's difficult to criticize them for that. The balls won't be an issue at all to begin with.Just so you know, the paddle's edge is not protected by a piece of plastic. Some paddles have this feature, which prevents harm to the paddle if you use it to stop a ball from rolling. Though it's not a drawback, be aware of this. We caution the children to avoid nicking the paddle by being careful.For whom is this intended?This, in my opinion, is for individuals who want to start playing pickleball but don't want to invest in a lot of pricey equipment only to find out they don't like it while still wanting to buy quality equipment.It's also fantastic if you already have the necessary gear and want an extra set for when friends and family visit and you want to play with more people.I've posted a few images to demonstrate how the handle size contrasts with the Franklin Volt Paddle and to demonstrate how tightly the handle is wrapped. The racquet is light weight and the honey comb structure worked well on my last racquet, so I expect the same performance from this one. Delivered really quickly, a little pricy, but you get what you pay for in this situation. Durability is a concern for me because I play pickleball all year round. I will have to wait and see how this one holds up to my previous racquet of the same design and quality, which lasted me just over a year before it started to show signs of failing. However, despite all of that, I believe this to be the best racquet for intermediate to advanced players. Although I'm not sure whether this comes with a guarantee, at least a year would be excellent.

This bag seems more durable than I had anticipated. Since I just received it, I can't really remark on its durability. The zipper's construction has a firm backing and doesn't appear to stick readily. Some claim that the zipper eventually broke, thus that might be a problem. Given that I'm sick of everything being neon, I like the gray "canvass Y" bag. It's also nice that it isn't imprinted with a logo or obnoxious pickleball phrase. I enjoy the bag's compactness even though it can only store approximately three paddles because it isn't aiming to be a professional bag. The little pocket can accommodate the largest iPhone, a wallet, and keys. However, because it is felt-lined, you could even place a pair of glasses within. I'll store an extra shirt, towel, or hat in the medium-sized pocket. The water bottle holder would fit a 12 or 16 oz plastic bottle but is too tiny for an insulated 18 oz bottle.

I have only used the Paddletek Phoenix Pro during my eight months of playing. I progressed from missing quite a few shots to never missing one. My footwork and mental game are currently my greatest enemies. You are so FAST, I don't know how you DO THAT, and how are you creating so much SPIN, are some of the remarks I've heard. To be completely honest, I owe it all to this paddle. I have experience playing table tennis, and this paddle weighs roughly the same as a bat. I'm gifting my wife with this one and purchasing the Neutron, which is even lighter (I know I know but the difference is so slight she will never tell the difference). Be aware that this is more of a control and spin paddle than a power paddle before using it. It is extremely light and thin. What I enjoy best about it is how thin it is. It offers unmatched mobility and ping pong-like reaction times. The bevel has been removed, which I believe expands the play area and makes the spin even simpler.
