This stand is excellent for the price. Because the poles are thin, it can be a little unsteady. Additionally, the bars begin to lean inward as you extend to your ultimate length. It would be best to retract it to ground level and move rather than attempting to move it while it is completely extended. To prevent it from toppling over in the wind, I would also advise using the sand bags on the legs. Last but not least, this kit only includes two clips; four are needed to hold the backdrop in place.I won't be using this for any strenuous activities. It will serve as a background frame inside for my daughter's birthday. So far, everything has performed flawlessly for me.I would suggest it to a friend who needs something quick and affordable.

It has a pretty attractive design and a well-made carrying case. Although they are lightweight, I feel that the tubes utilised in the stands are a little too thin. The stand's height limitation prevents you from "using" the entire background and forces you to fold around two feet of it behind the cross bar out of sight. But since the height suits my needs, I didn't give it much thought. So this will more than satisfy your needs if you're searching for something for light home use rather than a professional use. Just stay away from thick canvas backgrounds and use plastic ones instead.

In the summer of 2016, I made my first studio kit purchase. For less than $200, this contained a very basic photography and videography equipment that included a stand, several backdrops, and lights (studio kit from Linco). I had a lot of fun with this kit, and I produced many treasured pieces. However, as time passed, the machinery began to deteriorate gradually. The fact that it lasted the full three years shocked me! I had to use extreme caution whenever I set up the backdrop stand. The metal stand would occasionally totally bend out of position, and occasionally the entire backdrop would collapse. To for it to stand up again, I would actually have to bend the metal legs back into position. During one of my most recent shots in July 2019, one of the stand's legs became severely bent, making it impossible to use going forward. I have to improve.After looking on Amazon, I discovered a wide selection of backdrop stands. The majority of the vendors appeared to have configurations that were extremely comparable to Linco's studio kit. I was very careful to look into something more "heavy duty" because I knew I didn't want to buy another tiny and inexpensive stand. This is when I discovered the MOUNTDOG backdrop stand. It essentially had the same setup as the Linco model, but it appeared to be thicker and heavier. I chose to test out the 10x10 feet backdrop stand, which cost $59.99.I like that the backdrop stand included a bag with three slots when it was delivered. The centre slot carried the crossbars, and the two outer slots held the backdrop stand's real legs (which could be utilized at heights ranging from 3 to 10 feet) (which could be used from 5 to 10 feet wide). I also adored how the stand felt in my hands. It was still quite light, but seemed much safer to operate than my previous set-up. The stand's two legs were far thicker and less shaky than I was used to. A backdrop can be attached to the stand using the four spring clamps that were included in the kit. *For the sake of clarity, I've always utilized MegaBrand's 20-foot by 10-foot green screen backdrop.Overall, I believe that buying this was an excellent decision to replace my Linco backdrop stand that broke. Comparing the MOUNTDOG backdrop stand to the inexpensive studio kits you can buy on Amazon, it is clear that it is "heavy-duty." The stand's legs are also stronger and less shaky. I feel much secure moving about on set, and I have less anxiety about the setup crashing to the ground like my previous one. I would personally suggest this one if you're searching for a reasonably priced, high-quality backdrop stand instead of investing in a shoddy starter studio kit (or even creating your own ghetto studio kit out of PVC tubing)! It's a little fragile, this set. Skip this setup if you're searching for a true professional one. It works fantastically as a quick backdrop option for producing craft films, which is why I bought it. Since they are close-up photographs, a low background is sufficient. As a freelance illustrator, I frequently attend conventions in addition to working from home. I wanted something to make the setup process go more quickly, so I chose this, and I'm glad I did.This product was really well crafted, arrived on schedule, and contained everything that was promised. Since the horizontal bar was my biggest issue, it was simpler to store everything than to install it. The two bars are supposed to stick together and click, but in order to make that happen, I had to go above and above, or ask for assistance. The stability of everything else was something else. It appeared difficult for me to get the height to balance, and even if it was little off on one of the legs, it would balance on two of the three stilts, giving it a slight, but not very noticeable, wobble. Because of the confined confines, that might be a nuisance for painters in the artist lane, but it's simply something to be aware of. Overall, I needed to distribute my weight using the sandbags.Prints that I put on my photo wall were constructed of thin cardboard and secured in place with tape, making the piece overall very light and preventing it from wobbling. It seems like this product would leave a small drop on the horizontal beam if numerous heavy backdrops were placed on it or if users were to set up and take down on uneven ground. This product performs better the simpler you keep it. However, for the price you pay, it still performs as promised; I simply think people expect this to function similarly to a set that costs $100 or more and has glaring discrepancies.Overall, I was happy with my product, but I would caution anyone reading this to make sure it will work for their intended use.

I am incredibly happy with this purchase. It is quite simple to set up and definitely strong enough for my requirements. I used the offered sand bag pouches because I forgot to buy my own, and it worked out for the event. The device was strong enough to support the backdrop I made using a vinyl 5x7 background with several paper flowers glued on it. I had to continually lengthen and shorten the poles because I am short in order to get everything just perfect, but it turned out fine. To allow for quick modifications, the latches are both sturdy and simple to open and close. It is quick and simple to unpack and pack up. I used to construct my party backdrops out of PVC pipe and connectors. I used this device and the PVC pipes for a second backdrop at my most recent party. I will be getting a second one now because that pvc mess was so unstable and shaky in comparison to this unit.

I decided to take a chance and acquire this product despite the lack of any reviews after reading many conflicting reviews from other Background Stands for the following reasons:- The Telescopic Tube function- Detailed product images and information - cheaper priceThe product was delivered extremely swiftly and matches the image exactly. I had a stand like this from Pro Masters that I purchased a few years ago for three times the price, yet this product has the same features and quality.The carrying bag had a tear and a hole, but I didn't let it stop me because I wasn't planning to carry it.
