They are excellent erasers. I've bought them a few times now, and I always maintain the pencils in my grandson's class sharp and swap out the erasers as they wear out. I just made my first purchase of such an excellent item. There are 300 of them, and they resemble bright candies. My three kids are here. The batch I purchased from LD Products in December 2015 is excellent. Some reviewers said the cloth was stiff and split right away. Mine erased perfectly and were flexible. Given that the product is "Made in China," you must assume there is very rudimentary quality control, which may result in some batches having poor quality or being overstocked. But the batch I got is perfect. They cost $3.65 with free delivery and came in 8 days in good condition. They are holding up without splitting despite being forced onto mechanical pencils, which puts undue strain on the eraser's base, which is made to slide onto a regular wood pencil. Eraser Caps 206-503, a pink-orange batch from Office Depot that was also manufactured in China, split in a single day. Those are unquestionably garbage.The Paper Mate Arrowhead Pink Cap Erasers (73015), my go-to product, are only available in a container of 144. Comparing the Helix and the Arrowhead, the Helix is 1 1/4" longer overall (1" long). Less eraser residue is left on the page after an erase with the Helix edition.

Although I haven't actually used them yet, they seem to be of the same quality and material as the erasers that came in my inexpensive nameless Bic and a number of Pentel Graph Gear pencils (I believe all the various Graph Gear brands use the same erasers?). Though I believe they are great, I will be sure to update my rating if they begin to exhibit the dreadful streaky behavior that poor erasers are known for.Although these erasers are designed to be used with a strange tube thing and not for mechanical pencils, it looks that this 6mm size is an industry standard, thus they will likely fit any pencil, with the exception of Pentel pencils, which take those really narrow erasers. To be sure, measure the aperture where the eraser goes on your present pencil or the eraser's aperture.
