The base is well-built and has a lovely grain that would look lovely stained. To give it a more modern feel, I decided to paint it with a high gloss finish. The seller should give an additional top to attach onto the one provided if you want to use a glass top, like we did. That is the one drawback. To hide the holes and make the glass top look attractive, we utilised contact paper that looked like granite.

The table is fairly lovely on its own. The overall appearance is appealing and useful. I enjoy the compact size, and it took me several days of searching to find this table. Nobody who claims that the assembly is "simple" has my support. There are just two numbered phases, but there are other requirements that must be met. Although they are not mentioned anywhere in the two stages, the legs had at least three little stickers with a letter and a number on them. The instructions do not address the fact that the two shelves are not the same size despite having the same shape. The tiny one reaches the top more readily. As a safety precaution, the table can be secured to the wall using a small metal bracket that is located near the top of two of the table's four legs. These two legs need to be placed one on the right and one on the left, however there are no markers to show which leg fits where. Take note of the tiny illustrations. With the table on its top and the drawer mostly open, it is much simpler to join three of the four legs. Turn the table up on its legs once the third leg is attached, then secure the two shelves. I encountered various pieces along the route that didn't fit properly, so trial and error was employed. Keep going, and you'll get a really gorgeous table in the end.

Excellent stain and polish on the cherry top, as well as excellent paint on the pedestal (I went with a black pedestal and cherry top table). "Made in Vietnam" is marked on the underside. The assembly is simple, but the small wrench tool that comes with it is a little awkward to use because the bolts that attach and tighten the pedestal feet are inside the pedestal base. Have pinch pliers or regular pliers on hand to tighten the bolts; do not over tighten. Also, be sure to insert the wooden bars into the sockets with the finger holes facing the floor so that they hold the table leaves in place for the full-size table. Before you put the two small plastic stops into the table top, since if you don't, you won't be able to insert the wooden bars into the sockets. Don't be alarmed if you don't have any assembly instructions; I located them inside the pedestal base. This is not mentioned in them. They ought to be there. Two boxes—one for the pedestal and feet and the other for the top—come with the table. Both of them are very well packaged with foam boards, so there should be no shipping damage. Before using the table, I strongly advise applying a coat of Howard FW0016 Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish and Conditioner, Beeswax

The 30 inch round table top was a little too small to fit four chairs, so we should have purchased a 36 inch round table top instead. The chairs must be set back from the tabletop significantly due to the table's legs. Therefore, a 36 inch round top would have been ideal for us. We are still waiting for the vendor on the exchange to respond.This is a continuation of where I last left off. We were given the choice of sending the nook table back for a refund or making a donation in Cymax's honor to one of their predetermined charitable organizations. We made the donation, and we were completely reimbursed. With outstanding email communication from Cymax, all of these were completed in a short period of time. The level of service has greatly pleased us. We will most likely place a new order for the 36-inch equivalent nook table the following week because we will be out of town and want to be sure we can receive the courier delivery. I spent so much time looking for this specific look on the internet (I have very specific tastes). Finally discovered this one, and at a fair cost. Assembly was simple, but for some reason we were unable to make it completely level. It came in two boxes. Although it still wobbles a little, we have no idea how to fix it, so whatever. I really hope this isn't a regular occurrence. The original colour is gorgeous, too. To protect it, I applied several coats of a water-based clear semi-gloss. Though a little darker, the colour is still gorgeous!

The table was delivered quickly, in a box that prevented damage, and with the top and base arriving in separate boxes. As a 34-year-old woman, I was able to bring both components inside and rapidly assemble. No electricity is required. From open to table in place, assembly took 25 minutes. really simple The parts were all present, and the easy and understandable instructions solely used pictures. I would say the table is more of a cream white than a stark mashmellow white white. It has a matte texture rather than a glossy or protective coating. It is the ideal size and really attractive. I set up three chairs around it, but we can easily fit my husband, me, and our two young children—ages four and three—in four chairs. Due to the legs touching, four chairs simply protrude further than three.

My office at school is really small, where I see young pupils. I needed a desk that would fit in my room, be tall enough for me to sit at while yet being low enough for my pupils to work at. This table was the right size (and the only one I could locate anywhere that would accomplish that!). I've gotten several compliments on how attractive the table is. There were two drawbacks to be aware of.1) Dealing with packaging was really challenging. The cardboard box containing the table included the table inside a plywood cage that was poorly made. Positively, the table itself was well-protected during transportation. But the box itself was huge, very heavy, and difficult to handle or take things out of. The table had to be removed out of the plywood shell because it did not stay put well during shipping. I initially believed that the wooden enclosure was the table itself because the outside of the cardboard box stated that it was a rectangular coffee table (rather than a circular cafe table). The plywood was tough to move, and when it did, there were sharp nails all around. I pulled at it to check if my table was somewhere inside, but it wasn't there. As I was dealing with them, I poked myself with one of them. So take care while you unpack the box!2) Because of the table's thick foundation, assembly was rather difficult. A second person is unquestionably required to assemble the table. The table continued to swivel a little after we were done, but there was no way that I was going to remove all of the hard work I had put into putting it together to try again. Hopefully neither I nor the kids will be distracted by the swivel. I suppose we will see.As I've already mentioned, the table is really solid and attractive, so I'm hoping it will turn out well.

I'm VERY amazed with the stability of this table considering the cost. I'd liken the quality to Ikea's, but at an even lower price and perhaps with some added benefits. Before purchasing this one, I also looked at the tables there. I calculated the diameter to make sure four plates could fit without difficulty, and they did with cups. In the centre of the table, you wouldn't have enough space for platters of food or dishes, but this is ideal for filling up your plate before you sit down. The inclusion of a side table in the description made me uneasy; perhaps in a larger home where there is room, but I advise bringing out a tape measure and setting your dishes down to get a sense of size.Since the table is smaller than the ones shown, I chose chairs without arms since I thought they would appear too thick. Simple and compact design appears the most balanced.Although there was a review with a video of two people building, I plopped down on the floor with my pregnant belly on and put it together in under an hour while watching TV. The black bars are arranged in an up-and-down pattern, and I used the bolts to keep one bar in place while I added the next one. Once they were all attached to a leg, I tightened the bolts. I first attached the legs with the screws to the anchors, and then I fastened the anchors/legs to the table. I'm not really "handy," but it wasn't tough.
