Sun Dolphin 5 Seat Pedal Boat Review:

Before the ink on the closing papers was dry when we moved into our lovely home on Lake Whitehurst this summer, I started hunting for a pedal boat. I looked for a used pedal boat around $400 for approximately three weeks, but every time I found one, it was gone before I could go view it. Then, just for laughs, I clicked here to check the pricing on Amazon. I was shocked to see that it was just little more expensive than "old boat" prices I had been reading and that it included FREE SHIPPING to my front door. That offer just cannot be beaten. The wonderful day came, and my pedal boat was delivered to my residence. My teal and beige pedal boat was there when I opened the box, which was very shoddily wrapped. It was brand-new, gorgeous, and ready to be brought to the backyard lake. The boat was lightweight enough that two persons could easily carry it through the yard. And it appears to be really solid and well-built. Even more so once it was launched, I was impressed. A solo boat trip in the late afternoon is wonderful, and the pedal boat is surprisingly responsive and quick on the water. It doesn't take much work to cheerfully float down the stream. When we have visitors here, they always enjoy taking a trip in our tiny pedal boat and always return to land beaming!Although it's a lot of fun for one or two individuals, adding a few more passengers to the back of the boat can significantly reduce your speed. It would be a tight fit if there were a FIFTH person (in-between the two front seats).Due to how the plastic seat is constructed, it is rather difficult for one person to sit in that central position, but you can also easily steer the boat from the far left or far right seat.In conclusion, this boat is a ton of fun and appears to be pretty nicely made. And for less than $500, it's a sweet deal. Highly advised!

Sun Dolphin 5 Seat Pedal Boat with Canopy Review:

According to the vendor, the product displayed has not been produced in more than nine months. Amazon has not updated the image; the only difference is that the new ones now have a gray canopy. The boat can accommodate five people, but its weight restriction is 550 pounds, so those would be five small adults. It is quite light weight and paddles and turns really nicely. I was unable to get the color canopy I truly wanted, which is why it received a 4 star rating.

Sun Dolphin Sun Slider 5 Seat Pedal Boat with Canopy Review:

I'm deducting 1 point from my rating of 5 because it arrived with a hole in it. I assumed there was a problem because the transaction involved a warehouse. In any case, it was simple to patch the hole and well worth the money I saved. The boat steers reasonably well and is simple to pedal. How five adults might fit is beyond me. You should only anticipate the 545lb limit from it. You must maintain as much level as you can. Both my son and I are large men. We weigh roughly 520 pounds both, and the boat handled nicely but was front heavy. It was pretty loaded, weighing in at least 570 pounds, with 2 adults and 2 children inside. Although less effective, it appeared to be popping a wheelie. With two adults, fishing is ideal. I was concerned that if I went out into a strong wind, it could be impossible to return to land. However, you can make very decent headway against a strong wind. Even with a wind gust of around 15 mph in our faces, we still made decent progress. 4 or 5 mph is probably the top speed. Even if you tried, I doubt you could sink. We had roughly 2 gallons of water in the hull after 3 days at sea. It was simple to drain. Everyone found it to be really enjoyable. So portable and lightweight. fits in my Chevy Colorado's trunk. So yes, I do advise!

Sun Dolphin Water Wheeler Electric ASL 5 Person Pedal Boat with Canopy (Blue) Review:

We got this boat to "putz around" with after purchasing a house on a modest 8-acre lake. The boat was really stable and a lot of fun, in my opinion. We board the boat with 2 parents and 2 nieces and discover that it is extremely quick and maneuverable. The adults just "lounge" with our feet on the side of the boat, staying free of the pedals since the pedals move while the boat is powered by electricity. I found out that this pedal boat is manufactured in Muskegon, Michigan, where I own a 42' triple engine cigarette boat in Grand Haven, Michigan. It was very simple and affordable to get replacement parts for this boat. At the lowest settings, the boat draws extremely little amperage, allowing for a lengthy cruise period. At "full throttle," approximately 27 amps were being used. This will rapidly drain the battery, but we find that cruising in the middle of the speed range is more enjoyable and significantly increases battery life. The amount of current drawn was measured with a DC clamp-on meter. If you need additional information, please give me a call at 269.251.5530. Dennis

SUNDOLPHIN Sun Dolphin 3 Seat Pedal Boat Review:

I enjoy using this boat to peddle around the lake. The plastic pedals simply snap together, but I've found one issue: they keep breaking apart. Some kind of screwup is necessary. It's a little inconvenient to have to reassemble your pedals after pedaling. Apart from that, we enjoy the boat.

The new pedalboat is fantastic! great entertainment for all. The boat is ideal for fishing or for silently pedaling around on a pond where no motor boats are permitted. The seats are supportive and offer numerous adjustability for various postures. I also have a cover to keep out the rain, leaves, and other debris. I would heartily recommend the boat, and our delivery was excellent.
