The introduction of the six-button controller was a real game-changer for those of us who remember the Sega Genesis. This controller saved the old three-button controller, which wasn't made for modern fighting games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Eternal Champion. I'm delighted to say that this faithfully reproduces the original controller. Nearly 25 years ago, the balance, weight, and feel remained virtually unchanged. Even after all these years, this controller is still outstanding, and because to the USB interface, Bloodstained and other new PC-based vintage games can be played with it.Furthermore, we should be able to utilize this controller with the upcoming Sega Genesis Mini unless something changes between now and September. The Mini comes with two three-button controllers in place of the six-button controller, despite having games that benefit from it (the Japanese version of the Mini ships with two six-button controllers—go figure). The controller may be able to fill the gap. On the one hand, I appreciate the concept of using an actual, launch-issued three-button controller to play older Genesis titles, but it's comforting to know that I can switch to a six-button if I choose! This controller is essential if you pre-ordered a US Genesis Mini or if you intend to do so in the future.

The business sent me a replacement. The substitute appears to function far better. In comparison to the first one I got, the tigers appear to detect much, much better. The substitute is performing as intended.I was mistaken in thinking that this controller would at least function as intended. This controller is essentially useless because it doesn't work. The phone does fit into the controller well, but it is difficult to grip. Rarely did the triggers pick up electricity coming from my fingers. The game's triggers were perfectly aligned, however the controller hardly ever made the phone's trigger go off. Either the metal on the controller isn't conductive enough, or the rubber trigger pads on the controller aren't sufficiently conductive. No matter what, it is ineffective. Even if the screen of the phone, not the back, becomes hot, I suppose the fan may dissipate a little bit of heat. It might be possible to charge the phone using the controller, but it is not worthwhile.

The OS quickly recognized and installed the device after I just put it into a powered USB port. To get the greatest results and experience the least amount of fuss, make sure the USB port the device is plugged into is powered.I've tested it with almost every kind of gaming program. The controller's input method can be selected with a switch on the bottom; the options are Xarcade and DirectInput. According to the instructions, I should leave it in the default X setting for my'modern' machine. It may be necessary to use the 'D' DirectInput setting and download and install the Logitech config program on older versions of Windows, such as Win98 or WinXP. However, the 'X' Xarcade setting appears to work best if you are using Windows 7/8/10, and the Logitech program is not required. I didn't need it, at least.Despite the fact that I usually play first-person shooter games and typically use a keyboard and mouse for such, the controller works perfectly with my Steam games.All of my emulators, including MAME, DosBOX, WinVICE, WinUAE, Fusion, ZSNESW, Higan, Project 64, DeMul, Stella, and AppleWin, are also totally compatible with it.I was even able to use the two analog sticks as two distinct joysticks, making them ideal for MAME games like Williams' Robotron: 2084 and Atari's BattleZone.Just make sure the joystick support is enabled and set up correctly in those several emulators, I had to check. Battery life was not really an issue because the controller I bought didn't have a fan.One of my favorite controllers is unquestionably this one! First of all, it is EXACTLY what I wanted in a controller. Like it was created specifically for the Note 8! With 100% confidence, I can use it with my case, without pressing the side buttons, and with a screen protector, knowing that when I pull the trigger, it will act as intended immediately. The gadget guard 2.0 is on my screen, and the UAG is on the case.The durability is undoubtedly superior to others I've seen. I play video games very consistently every day, so if it survived the abuse of losing matches, I'd consider that a victory. However, I can see how severe abuse could break anything just like anything else. I believe it is safe to state that with normal use and a little care, this might survive for a very long time because the construction of this is not held together with thin wires like previous controllers I have tried.Price is better than several I've tested, and the product is superior quality, therefore it's absolutely worth buying.Comfort is excellent overall. First, let me outline the pros and cons. I'll then go into more detail. The quality of this controller is excellent despite its lower cost.It arrived in a packaging that was attractive. I protected it during shipping by using foam. Connect and play. The size is suitable. Perfectly fits in my hands. convenient analogs. and seems to be well manufactured.Negatives. Getting acclimated to triggers without pressure takes some time. Instead of the usual pushed triggers, it employs click triggers.In a dimly lit space, the LED light in the middle is bothersome. (I simply covered it with chopped duct tape)For a computer-based product, neutral (neither excellent or negative) cord length is to be expected.Its length is almost half that of an Xbox 360 cord. Consequently, if you're seeking for a console accessory. Perhaps this isn't for you. I don't care about the cord length because I'm using it for a laptop or computer.Here is a thorough evaluation.The performance and brand recognition of this controller are on par with that of the Microsoft Xbox and Sony Duelshock controllers. Just connect it in like any other controller, and drivers will install.Let me begin by mentioning that the analogs on the Dualshock Sony controllers would always come loose after use, which is why I chose this controller. And the analog buttons on Microsoft's Xbox controller constantly squeaked. I have not experienced any of the problems stated with this controller (and Microsoft analogs use rubber, which might make your fingertips feel uncomfortable with repeated rubbing).It arrived in flawless condition. As I previously mentioned, the trigger buttons require some getting used to because they function similarly to "bumper" buttons.All of my buttons function properly and never stick or get stuck. I'm not an expert because I've never mistreated my electronics, but the controller seems to be just as sturdy as name-brand console controllers.The plastic does not appear to be at all cheap (I wouldn't go hurling it at the floor or walls). If you're tired of Microsoft or Sony extorting your money for subpar work, I wholeheartedly believe that this controller is worth buying.

I'm astonished at how practical and comfy this controller is considering how inexpensively constructed it is. I can connect in my headphones and charger so that they don't obstruct my hands. It took a few games for me to get used to the hammer fall latency, which is now barely apparent as I have shown in my video.
