These are hung in our garden and on our terrace in a quantity of about twenty. They give off a really relaxing low intensity orange light that resembles a flickering candle. The phony candle's top is illuminated by light that is actually coming from the underside of the lid. The only issue would be those lanterns that are hanging high since you can see the LED that provides the light, but it actually works better than it might sound. Last year, I had around 20 of these and carried them inside for the winter. Four of them stopped working this spring, so I replaced them. The brand's name is now printed on the front of the new replacements in bold white letters, otherwise they are similar. That would have been a deal breaker right away, to be honest. I suppose I'll use a Sharpie to color over it. That's a strange choice for a business to make. Imagine purchasing a light for your living room and having Ikea visible to all on it in large, white letters.

Despite like this product right away and wanting to test it out, I waited a month before writing a review of it. I recently got another one because I believe they are a great deal for the price. The charge will be on for 4 to 5 days, lasting between 4 and 6 hours. They produce enough light to play games or eat by. This summer, I've already increased the amount of time I spend on my patio. I'm not sure how many seasons they will endure, but considering the cost, I'll buy a few every year if necessary. Remember that this is just a gadget and probably won't end up as a family treasure, LOL. Test it out.I recently conducted a small test, and the results are below. I ran both lights for four hours every night for eight nights after letting them charge for roughly 48 hours. They were also set to low one night and high the following. Since I kept them on the poles for five out of the eight days and live in Texas, they passed the heat test. One day, it rained very hard and it turned out that my umbrellas weren't water-proof, so they became quite soaked. As a result, I can say that they are water resistant.

I'm going to swap out all of our old outdoor lights, which take up a large storage box, for these little (warm white) lights, which are surprisingly bright considering how little space they use.The remote won't operate unless you remove the tiny plastic tab from the end.
