Okay, so I placed this outdoor light within in my hallway... All of the rooms including the corridor, which connects the living room/dining room area to the master bedroom, have crown molding. The dining room has wainscoting, so I wanted a ceiling fixture for the hallway that would complement the informality of the wainscoting and the formality of the crown molding without competing with it. What I desired exactly. And while it is acceptable to place an outdoor light fixture within, it is not acceptable to place an indoor fixture outside. To shield the wires from the elements outside, this lamp has insulation on the top of the fixture and a thick, heavy frosted glass insert. It would look stunning on a porch ceiling.

The bulb is supplied with the light, but it cannot be changed. The installation was simple. You might be able to if you find it, but it would probably be more expensive than purchasing a new light fixture. There is no way to change the light's temperature other than to dim it, therefore it is very bright white. Wish I had looked at it first because the warm white lights in the neighbourhood make it look odd. It's my problem and not the light's; I should have looked into the colour temperature of the light. If not, it is a high-quality lighting fixture.

This product must have a lot of variation. Mine arrived as promised. The wicks didn't have a fiberglass-like feel. They are substantial enough for the brass fitting to hold. Each one is 10 inches in length, so it doesn't reach the bottle's bottom. Pebbles at the bottom is a great suggestion from others (or glass beads or marbles).The sole reason I docked a star is because, after applying a rubber "washer," neither side of the brass fitting will fit into a typical wine bottle.I'm not sure what the background of that is.

I've been looking for a solar lighting setup to add to the areas of my house that were gloomy. This package of four lights was ideal for me. The process of getting them ready didn't take long. It was quite easy for me to place one against the eaves of the house by just utilizing screws to fasten the unit's back plate to the eaves. The other ones were put up next to the gutters. In order to install each solar light, I bought a package of screws/bolts for each solar light as well as a 12" by 2" and a 4" by 6" plate with holes from the lumber department at Home Depot for a total of $2 to $4 per solar light. I attached the two plates in a cross pattern using the screws/bolts, nuts, and lock washers to ensure that the assembly does not start to loosen up over time.

Works fairly well. To avoid having any cables in the way, I wired six of the lights up to my "island" garage bar, which is powered by a battery pack and a 12V to 120V converter. All six lights turned on right away. I gave it only 4 stars because I wanted the fixture wires to be thicker gauge and longer. Additionally, a few of the lights have a blue hue that is slightly distinct.Update after 1.5 months: Despite the bar being shaken slightly by moderate bass, the lights haven't even flittered once. A blue "wave motion" light was added to the circuit as a background effect; it still functions well. Until I bring it up, no one has reported seeing the variations in color shade in the lights. I might simply be being too picky. Since I haven't used the customer service yet, I can't vouch for it. I believe you will be pleased with this product given the pricing.

I expected to be a little let down when this fixture arrived after reading some other reviews. Not so.This item is well-made and offers decent value. It was a standard installation of outdoor lighting.The base is "flimsy," according to some reviewers, and to some extent, that is true. Due to its minimal flexibility, the ceiling surface modifications should be possible. Flexibility won't be a problem if your surface is good and flat.One strange detail: I purchased this item through Amazon Prime, and it came with the black and write wires tangled together. The equipment was therefore obviously an open box because NO lighting manufacturer would ship something that could potentially lead to a lawsuit. Other than that, the fixture was good.

The item is larger than I anticipated, but it looks better and emits more light because it has two lights instead of the single bulb I previously had. Above my rear door, installation was simple.
