On Amazon, it is one of the less expensive Victorinox paring knives.The first inch from the tip became dull after roughly a month of use. It was not fixed by simple honing on the underside of a ceramic plate. The blade is still sharp throughout.Please take note that the blade on mine had a very small nick. I've observed expert tests comparing knives. But a little over a year ago, I wanted to make my own comparisons before purchasing one of the more expensive sets. So I bought these along with a $10 more expensive Silverpoint Wusthof set. All the knives, with the exception of one, have been excellent and considerably sharper than with many years' worth of earlier knives. On cutting boards, they have primarily been used to cut vegetables. Up until around two months ago, I didn't notice any noticeable changes. Then, as I was using the Wusthof peeling knife on some broccoli, the blade disintegrated. Therefore, the Henckels set is unquestionably the best at this time.My Wusthof knives clearly state "Made in Germany" when asked where they were made. A Henckels knife bears the following markings on its blade: "GERMAN STAINLESS STEEL 11210-080 (3")... MADE IN CHINA." Therefore, it's possible that Henckels are made in China from German steel and simple Chinese plastic.

Like all Dalstrong knives, it has a razor-sharp edge out of the box. I would have dubbed it the Ninja Series because that's how you feel when you yield this beast since it cuts so smoothly and effortlessly. I only wonder how well it will endure in the upcoming months.Dalstrong once again provides an oversaturated market with unmatched value and quality. I'm not sure how they manage to do this, but I'm happy that they do. Spend less money. Purchase Dalstrongs and rejoice. Save your money; I'm sure they'll be bringing out additional knives that I'll probably buy as well. They simply can't be beaten right now. Yes, you could spend hundreds of dollars, but why would you want to when you could get this beauty and keep all that money for yourself? (And no, I'm not employed by Dalstrong.)***One final thing. Their level of customer service is extraordinary. The saya pins from a prior transaction disappeared. I requested that they buy some more in a letter to them. They replied by promising to take care of it. A week later, the CEO and founder of the company, David Dallaire, sent me a handmade envelope stuffed with pins. And he sent me an email to confirm that I had received them and was satisfied. Who practices that today? One of the numerous factors that make me a lifelong customer
