I previously reviewed this item and seller when I bought it for myself, but I just bought another one to give to a coworker. I wanted to give her mine because I love it so much. She'll adore it, too, I'm sure. Since I've had mine for almost 6 months, I've decided I'll never use regular paper clip holders once more. I can't overstate how awesome it is to grab for a paper clip and not get one that's connected to another one, forcing you to either stop working to unplug them or keep pulling clips until you eventually find one on its own. It's unpleasant and upsetting, and the workday is already stressful enough. It's a lot of fun to play about with this product. It has an extremely powerful magnet.

There are many adorable and inventive paper clip dispensers on the market, but it's difficult to top this time-tested and useful style. Strangely, after looking for one at numerous big box stores, dollar stores, and even office supply stores, nobody seems to have any on hand. When I inquired about their location in an office supply store, believing I had simply ignored them, the salesperson sadly replied that they would be pleased to special order them for me. No thanks, I'll simply see if Amazon has them, I reasoned. Fortunately, they did, and since they were so inexpensive, I bought 3 of them to put near my workstation and printers. The clips are retained at your fingertip by the magnet around the opening when you gently shake the container. Sometimes simplicity is just too good to be true!

To be able to attach notes, build plans, and reference materials to the many large tools in my woodworking workshop, I bought these clips. These were once available at my neighborhood office supply store, but they are now difficult, if not impossible, to locate. They come in quite helpful at work. I use them to keep papers in my work truck so that I can fill out forms to record test results and look at data while fixing equipment. Depending on how much paper has to be held, I have three different sizes. They are powerful enough to finish the task. My main worry at this moment is whether or not they will experience the same issue as the ones I purchased in stores, which is that the magnets can occasionally break or come unstick from the clip. It doesn't matter; I simply re-glue them together. It's a great deal to acquire this many clips for this cheap. Now that I have enough, I can use some in the office, some at home, and some on my truck.

This is a lovely paperclip holder for your workstation or desk. When I needed to replace a comparable magnetic one that wasn't as elegant, I chose this design. The included gold paperclips are adorable. When they run out and I replace them with bigger, silver paperclips, it might not look quite as stylish. It is a little little, and I'm not sure how well it will fit the size paperclips I use most frequently in my classroom.

I purchased this for my desk since I saw that occasionally, onlookers would take paperclips out of my old paperclip holder (the one with the magnet in a hole at the top of a box you fill with clips). I got to thinking, Hey, I don't want to touch that if I don't know how many germ-ridden hands have touched it since it's flu season. However, I did left the old paperclip holder in a more obvious location nearby in the hopes that people will just walk there. This small basin allows the clips to dangle where people might grab only one if they have to retrieve it from my desk. The magnet on the spout is plenty; I can hang five or six medium-sized clips there and remove them one at a time as I need them.
