You will be pleased, I guarantee it, if you grill both sides in a frying pan. In contrast to other brands, which I consider to be meh, trash, the oil is a bonus. I debated whether to buy the halves or a jar of the julienned tomatoes instead of simply the half, figuring that I could slice the halves myself if necessary. I'm eager to get my most recent order, and despite the shipping cost, if this is the only way to acquire them, I'll do it because they're so amazing. After reading one of the other reviews, I learned that these were allegedly returning to Costco shops, but where I reside, that is not the case.

Even though I can't even begin to express how delicious these tomatoes are, I'll try: they are sliced into small pieces and kept soft and moist by being wrapped in oil. The hefty shipping costs are my sole gripe, although I can understand them given that glass is delicate and needs to be packed carefully. I'm really pleased with these. Would advise. Each box is roughly the correct size for a dinner, and they seem to keep fresh. The tomatoes are a little sticky, making dicing difficult, but because of their size, chopping is not strictly necessary. Although this is helpful, I really miss having a Trader Joe's nearby.

These have saltiness. If you enjoy salty cuisine, it's not overly salty, but it is salty.I'm not bothered by the salt.They are a little bit mushy, which I don't particularly like.Although I still like them, a product of higher quality would have a harder texture.Compared to the type of olive oil you generally see food items packed in, the extra virgin olive oil in which they are packaged is a good olive oil.They seem a tad expensive for what they are, in my opinion.Even though the oil they come in is a little bit lower quality than the oil in this product, the sundried tomatoes my local grocery store (Hannafords) sells in its deli are firmer, less salty, and a little less expensive, so I will probably stay with those in the future.
