I do eat the skin of baked potatoes. I find that it is a good source of dietary fiber, and it also helps to hold in the potato's moisture so that the potato doesn't dry out as it bakes. The skin also helps to protect the potato from absorbing too much salt or fat from the toppings that I put on it.
Potatoes are a staple food in many countries around the world. They are a good source of carbohydrates and vitamins, and can be cooked in many different ways. In some countries, such as Ireland and Scotland, potatoes are the main food. In other countries, such as Italy and Spain, they are often eaten as part of a meal. In the United States, potatoes are often served as a side dish.
A baked potato is a great option for a quick and easy dinner. You can top it with your favorite toppings, such as cheese, sour cream, or chili, and have a complete meal in no time. Plus, baked potatoes are a healthy option, as they are low in calories and fat.
There are many delicious potato dishes from around the world, but some of the most famous are: 1. Pommes Anna – a classic French dish of thinly sliced potatoes layered with butter and baked until golden and crispy. 2. Hasselback Potatoes – a Swedish dish of potatoes that are thinly sliced and then baked with cheese and bacon. 3. Roasted Potatoes – a simple but delicious dish of potatoes that are roasted in the oven with olive oil, herbs, and garlic.

This homemade buttery mashed potato mixture is delicious. This blend is ideal for times when I can't get to the shop as I start to fill my pantry for the winter. It is simple to prepare and store. Simply combine the potato mix with 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, and stir. There they are—potatoes on your dish. The fact that they are produced with water rather than milk adds convenience for me. I occasionally run out of milk in my home. The flavor and the price both pleasantly pleased me.Additionally, it won't be an issue if there are no potatoes available. (It takes me 40 minutes to go from my house to the store, so.) The packages are delivered to my door via Prime Pantry.I'll check to see if Prime Pantry has any additional flavors of this brand shortly.Highly suggested.

What a pleasure! I appreciate having the smaller dehydrated shredded potato containers since I can cook a smaller batch without having to open a larger carton. These really are quite delicious. I simply heat some water in my countertop electric kettle, pour it to the carton, and close it before gathering the remaining ingredients for dinner. The potato shreds are prepared to crisp up in the skillet by the time I have everything else put together. However, the instructions state to fry them for "3-4 minutes over medium-high heat" in order to get them crispy. My experience has not been like that. They might get hot enough to burn, but crisp? no. I've already prepared four of the cartons, and on each occasion, it takes 10 minutes for the first side to turn crispy/medium brown and an additional 5-7 minutes for the second side. When I flip them, I typically add another 1 tsp of oil (I like mine extra crispy, though, so your mileage might vary).A further claim is that each carton contains 7 servings. Really not unless you are one of seven kids. You'll only get around 1 3/4 cups of completed, crisp-shredded potatoes, enough for three hungry people and up to 4-5 servings. With 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links, and some fresh fruit, I prepare these for breadfast using the 3 servings I can usually get from each carton. That keeps me busy until lunch.I've tried most of the dried potato shreds on the market, and these have the finest flavor of all of them. As long as I can find these on Amazon at a reasonable price, I'll keep buying them. They really really appeal to me so much!

These are not the best tasting instant potatoes I've ever had, but I also don't want a lynch mob to come to my house. They are inexpensive, made with high-quality ingredients, and reasonably easy to prepare, albeit with some mess. Even though I probably won't buy them again, I'm not sorry I bought them.Even easier to prepare and clean up are the Bob Evans microwaveable mashed potato containers I purchase from Walmart (and other retailers). Additionally, they taste better and have a better texture (less granular/creamier), in my opinion (add a small pat of butter). They undoubtedly have a revolting list of components. (Uncertain; don't have one on hand.) Then there is the Hungry Jack quick my wife occasionally makes. They also have a better texture and, in my opinion, taste better than the alternatives. (I'm not sure whether my wife uses any special techniques to make the Hungry Jack, but they are excellent!)Only one package of this Honest Earth was produced by me. The following time, maybe I'll use more than four tablespoons of butter and some cream? In any case, I think the pricing is fair for such a high-quality item.

The Red Spoon is my promise of great taste, quality, and convenience; This is a product you and your family will enjoy, I guarantee it - Betty Crocker

The difference between the sauce recipes for scallops from Betty Crocker and au gratin is difficult to describe, although this meal might be served as a side dish in a restaurant. There isn't even the slightest touch of fake flavor or freeze-dried essence in the flavor, which is wonderfully cheesy. The potatoes are freeze dried and enclosed in a cello bag (or bags) to ward off mealy bugs, just like the scalloped potato mix. Because of these insect infestations, I especially purchase mixtures like this as I've had to toss out a lot of food. They enjoy pasta, bread crumbs, and freeze-dried potatoes in particular. The mealy bugs hatch when the mix is exposed to wet air, which happens frequently when the eggs are in the mixes at the time of packaging. The twin pack's price from Amazon Prime was excellent. I bake my dishes with whole milk and butter, slightly overbake them, let them cool for approximately 30 minutes on the stovetop, and then serve them. Simple to prepare: I boil water in a fast-boil kettle, add the potatoes and butter first, pour the boiling water over them to melt the butter and begin the hydration process, then add the Au Gratin cheese mix, gently stir, and bake in a 450°F oven for 35 minutes. This is a little longer than is recommended for a double batch, but I like the brown bubbly cheese you get on top for that. Highly recommended; excellent flavor. I just don't know why the flavor is so different from the Scalloped mix.

Okay, these were delicious mashed potatoes that were quick and had a buttery flavor, just as promised. I admit that even though I enjoy mashed potatoes, I detest the process of turning a tough, large brown root into a fluffy mash. I've explored boxed choices, but to be completely honest, they just aren't practical for a single individual or for a professional necessity. Add water, heat in the microwave, and presto! The only thing I have to say is a minor irritation of mine. Why on EARTH do you put 1.5 servings in a cup in the nutrition facts? Seriously? Do you really believe that two individuals will split one of these? Come on, just categorize it as a serving.

Due to a Christmas present from my brother, I got this through Amazon. We didn't have the money to buy groceries locally, so I placed a $300 Prime Pantry order. One of the items was this. Even in the dead of winter, the Prime Pantry boxes arrived without any holes or other difficulties, dry, and safe (which is vital for instant mashed potatoes), thanks to the excellent packing. This package was nestled in with the others with plenty of packing. The actual product was as predicted, being both fresh and viable. Thank you to the individual market and Amazon.

I thought I'd share my experience since I've been eating this variety as well as others (as well as competing, similar goods) as part of a dietary meal plan. I won't concentrate on the nutritional information because it is clearly stated on the package. Since I ordered like 20 different sorts, I'm only concentrating on my own subjective experiences, and because I'm lazy like that, I'm just going to utilize a standard template.PREPARATION: The heating time was precise; the entree was fully heated in one minute in a 900w microwave.Observations: This was far more enjoyable than I anticipated. A turkey entree can be tricky to go wrong, but Hormel did a great job with this one. The true treat in this dish was the stuffing, which was tasty and had a nice texture with CRUNCHY celery chunks that are just the correct size. Yes, the stuffing is generally a little mushy because it's in a bowl with gravy, but I can overlook that. Even though the quantity and the fact that it was all dark meat left me a little disappointed, the turkey itself was excellent, soft, and tasty. (While I can see WHY there is just dark meat—white meat would get too dry—it is still a touch disappointing.) The gravy is the product's weakest component, if there is one. Although it's not GOOD gravy, it's also not BAD gravy. It doesn't add much taste to the other ingredients in the bowl, but it also doesn't take anything away. It's merely passable.VERDICT: In my opinion, one of the best Complete entrees. Definitely going on the list for future orders.

They are instant mashed potatoes, I guess. These are not very unique by nature. However, if you frequently consume instant mashed potatoes, this is an excellent brand. Since there is only potato flakes present, you can make them to your exact specifications if you're vegan, avoid butter, dairy, additives, salt, or other ingredients. They turned so creamy and delicious because I made them with almond milk and some salt.I also loved that once they were created, you could add *cold* milk or water (instead of having to cook up some additional) and it would blend right in if they were too thick or a touch dry. I'd unquestionably purchase these again.
Scalloped potatoes are a great side dish because they are easy to make and go with a variety of main dishes. You can add different herbs and spices to the potatoes to give them more flavor. Scalloped potatoes are also a good way to use up leftover potatoes.

There are many things you can serve with twice baked potatoes. Some popular options include grilled chicken, steak, or fish. You could also serve them alongside a salad or roasted vegetables.
Potato gratin is a dish made with layered slices of potato and cheese, often with cream or milk. Vegetarians can enjoy this dish by substituting the cheese with a vegan variety, such as Daiya or Nutritional Yeast. This dish can also be made without dairy by using a plant-based milk, such as almond or soy milk.
There are many things you can put on mashed potatoes besides gravy. You can put sour cream, butter, cheese, bacon, or any number of other things. The possibilities are endless.
In China, potatoes are often used in stews and soups. They can also be stir-fried, boiled, or baked. Potatoes are a versatile vegetable that can be used in many different dishes.
