Step2 Deluxe Package Delivery Box, Estate White Review:

I got this to use as a lockable parcel delivery container. In order for delivery personnel to place a parcel in a box and lock it with the padlock that is hanging from the chain, I bought a padlock with a retention chain and linked it to the hasp. Because there was no method to secure the box to anything or prevent someone from simply picking it up and leaving with it, I deducted one star from its rating. In order to use a bike lock to tie it to something, I found the solution by drilling a hole in it and adding an eye bolt. Despite the fact that it keeps goods shielded from the elements and largely safe from porch pirates, this is not a high duty lock box. With a pry bar and my everyday carry pocket knife, I could easily cut through the box to get at the contents. However, if you only need something to shield parcels from the weather and offer the ordinary porch pirate just enough shelter to move on to lower-hanging fruit, this performs the job quite well.

Step2 583199 Express Package Delivery Box, 31"H x 18"W x 23"D, Black Review:

I bought this because I have an open front porch and wanted to keep my porch dry for my delivery parcels. Since they are no longer visible from the road or even from the porch, it also increases their security (unless someone lifts the lid). Even after heavy rains, the design and cover keep everything inside totally dry. It hasn't faded and looks well with most traditional decor. The only thing that bothers me about it is that "Step 2" is clearly imprinted on it. This is not noticeable because of the black box, but I wish it weren't there. Although it may not immediately catch your notice, I like that it states "Deliveries." The Deliveries term should should be in a contrasting color because occasionally the delivery personnel don't notice it. To encourage them to use it, I started writing "put in black box on porch" under my street address on the delivery address for packages. On my doorstep, this box doesn't appear very big, yet it actually carries a surprising lot. I was considering a bigger box, but I'm so happy I chose this one. I would prefer a box made of something other than plastic, but anything comparable made of a different material costs ten times as much. It looks extremely great, keeps things totally dry, and has ample space for even huge parcels. I heartily endorse this item.

Package Guardian - Package Delivery Box For Porch - Slash Proof Bag & Straps - 44ft Steel Cable Sewn Into Bag Review:

This is a reliable and adaptable method of shipping container security. The bag can be hung in the entrance or linked (using a bicycle chain, etc.) to a balcony or front pole, among other places. You just fold it and bring it inside if you don't anticipate receiving packages. Because I dislike having a big box in front of the house, I appreciate the notion. No matter what you have, this gear won't function without the carriers' participation. I had placed the bag a several times after receiving it, and despite the fact that the delivery person passed by and the item was plainly marked, they paid it no mind and left it in front of the home where it was visible to anyone walking about wanting to steal mail (this seems to be a trend around here). The delivery person appears to think all they need to do is provide evidence that the products were indeed delivered. Some people take a picture, which ironically shows the bag visibly empty (source: Amazon). The bag is made with quality materials and is fairly secure. It has a combination lock that you can program. I like the item; now I just have to work out how to get the carrier to utilize it!

PEELCO 30" Package Box - Huge Locking Modern Mailbox for Large Parcels - Vertical Wall Mount or Freestanding Drop Box Locker - Rust & Weather Proof with Stainless Steel Hood - 2 Spare Keys (Matte) Review:

After having numerous parcels stolen off my front porch in a row, I realized that someone was keeping an eye on it with bad intentions. In order to prevent the doormat on my porch from being seen from the sidewalk or the road, I installed a system of blinds along with this parcel box. It's not even a safe, so any criminal with a crowbar could break it open or pry it off the wall and into their car in a matter of minutes. However, in the about six weeks since I installed it, nothing has been stolen. It seems that keeping assets hidden was crucial. This box, in my opinion, has prevented not just the theft of many of my deliveries but has also probably deterred anyone who was spying on my porch from doing so in the future. After all, that was the creepier side of the problem in the first place. The majority of the time, package couriers use the parcel box with respect and place the packages inside. To be quite clear about what it was for, I attached a handwritten label that read, "Please put packages in here." Only once, out of perhaps ten deliveries, did the delivery person drop the package on the doormat. figure GP Another time, a soft-sided item was jammed sideways into the chute and did not fall into the container below. However, at least the package was hidden and was not stolen.Although it obviously required two people, I found installing this parcel box to be very simple. Although it would be a huge inconvenience, one individual might be able to manage it alone. The box must be screwed to the wall with the door open, however it is heavy and does not support itself adequately when the door is open (wants to tip forward). A level, a wide shim to support the box at the required installation height, a pencil, a drill with a masonry bit for a stucco wall like mine, and a decent screwdriver were all necessary for installation. I utilized a stud finder to make sure we were avoiding the studs because I chose to use the masonry anchors that were supplied for installation.I heartily endorse this product! It holds more than you would anticipate given the way it looks.

Architectural Mailboxes 6900RZ Elephantrunk Parcel Drop Box, Extra Large, Rubbed Bronze Review:

The Architectural Mailboxes 6900RZ Elephant Trunk mailbox is the subject of this review. I believe there is a neon sign outside my house that reads, "Please, come steal from me." In all seriousness, my house has been broken into (safe, jewelry, etc. taken), packages have been taken from my front door (I know this because the police showed up at my door with packages addressed to me they found in a stolen car! ), and now my mail has been stolen and the thief attempted to deposit a check (luckily the bank caught on and stopped it). I had to alter how my mail was delivered as a result of this recent mail theft. My house had a masonry column with a plain, substantial metal mailbox in it when it was first built in the 1970s. I looked for a mailbox with a lock. I wanted something other than the typical square box on a pole that was dark brown or bronze, preferably in one piece, and it needed to accommodate a lot of mail and soft items. Additionally, it has to fit with the transitional/modern design of my house. I didn't bother about it fitting boxes. The cops suggested I put a box at my front door for deliveries when they brought my things back. My box was on Suncast storage side table Amazon.com. SSW1200. That has been a total success, and this mailbox has too! I was prepared for the mailbox shift to be a major pain in the rear, but it turned out to be one of the simplest, shortest, and most rewarding chores I have ever completed. Authentic excellence! To demolish the outdated brick column, I hired a worker. The old cement support at the base of the demolition work was then ground down, and a new concrete pad was subsequently poured. The elephant trunk mailbox had already been delivered by the time it dried. I just want to give Prime a big YAHOO! After starting the job, it was finished in 48 hours.the theft's. Couldn't have done it without this mailbox and Amazon.com! It arrived in a sizable box and was in excellent shape. I did change one thing. There is nowhere to put outgoing mail because of the rolling drum (similar to the package drop off at the post office). So I looked on Amazon.com, of course, and found a sturdy plastic pouch (Wilson Jones Clear Tabbed Envelope W61070), cut the top down, and then taped it with the open side facing the front of the pull down using Gorilla Tape (no girl should be without it). Completely resolved the issue. received the mailman's blessing, and he also adores the mailbox!

Simplay3 Hide Away Delivery and Storage Box - Secure Home Delivery Box for Packages Shipped to The Home 5 Cu. Feet, Gray (or Tan) Review:

This brand-new product is fantastic, but it still requires some polish to be perfect. The predrilled holes where the lock hasp is attached with carriage bolts are much too small for the bolts to fit through. I had to use a 1/4" drill bit to manually drill them out. The planter that rests on top is a fantastic idea, however there is a drawback. Instead of attaching it, I am letting it rest on top of the unit. To stop rain and snow melt from getting into the enclosure, I'll probably place some plastic flowers in it and cover the pre-drilled holes at the top of the main unit. Be careful that there is no facility in it that permits water from the plants or from rainfall to drain out of the planter box if you DO decide to attach it. With a little design tweaking, the final product will be flawless.
