ITEM: Over-the-Range Microwave, 1.6 GE JNM3163DJBBOne 50-watt halogen lamp is installed. It would likely have two lights, which I would swap out for LED versions. I'm looking for a G8 LED bulb that can produce a lot of light. Due to the granite backsplash that already existed, mounting was a pain. After a quarter inch from the back, the microwave's bottom grows downward. It interfered since the stone was one inch thick. therefore be aware of that.

The actual thing is pretty beautiful. Its exhaust fan is strong and comparatively quiet. It contains a shelf and a turntable, allowing you to cook multiple things at once. The microwave is quite silent. It cooks rapidly and evenly. There are numerous sensor settings. It is beautifully finished and fitted. Additionally, it goes great with our around five-year-old black Frigidaire range. (This MW oven was manufactured in the middle of 2017). The fact that it is created in China bothers me.The delivery service on Amazon has to be improved. We received it swiftly, however I had to travel 12 miles to the post office to pick it up. But since we live in a remote region, Amazon must rely on the Postal Service to deliver packages to our homes. This ought to have been brought to your house by a truck. It is roughly 70 pounds in weight. In the post office, it needed to be carried around using a cart. It needs two persons to pick it up, according to the label! Why wasn't this sent to my house right off a truck? Why didn't you even offer to send a truck to my house? It's just not simple, and every brand seems to follow the same terrible process: Drill numerous holes in the wall and cabinet, mount a rack on the back wall, insert screws through the top cabinet, and connect the electricity. Connect to a vent, then lift and hang. tighten the cabinet's screws.Why it is difficult: In order for the item to hang correctly, the cabinet holes and rear wall rack must be precisely level and in alignment. To accomplish this, you will need two large pieces of diagrammed paper, which you will tape to the cabinet and wall to serve as a blueprint for all the holes you will drill and cut. To fit the cabinet, which is never completely aligned, the diagram must be manually cut. You wind up double-checking your measurements. The tape never adheres, and the paper moves around too easily. I therefore misjudged the location of the holes on the cabinet's bottom by roughly an inch. I had to drill again. It didn't help that one of the toggle bolts that was suppliedââŹâfor the rack on the back wallââŹâbroke and needed to be put back together.Everything I needed to install the microwave properly was included with it. The user manual and installation instructions are both printed on high-quality office paper, in contrast to the manuals for other previously purchased appliances, which were either solely online-only or printed on cheap, thin, easily shredded paper.

Two people advised that it was simple to install in a typical over-the-stove opening. Powerful, silent operation. There are three fan settings, however only the lowest setting will function when the wave is on. It has a nice, uncluttered style without any protruding handles.Grease filters for exhaust systems are simple to clean, but the charcoal filter for the standard interior vent fanââŹâwhich they advise replacing every six monthsââŹâneeds to be removed by removing a few screws and carefully sliding a plastic cover. It took some perseverance to get it back on correctly. I'm curious to see how it looks after 6 months with sporadic fan use.A few minor issues: There are two right and left LED lights instead of three bright LED lights underneath (to match stove burner locations). As a result, the stove's center is well-lit, but the area to its left and right, where your food is cooking, is a little darker. One brightness option is also available.Second, it's unusual that while wave is active, the timer feature is deactivated, and vice versa. In order to use the wave if you're using the timer, you must transfer the countdown somewhere else. Similarly, if there is a wave, you will require a different kitchen timer. Despite the fact that it probably only comes in more expensive models, it seems like that would be a simple programming function to add or improve. These are not deal-breakers because they are small variations from our 15-year-old GE. Hard to find much to critique for $299!

I adore this oven; it's the ideal replacement for the Sharp convection oven we had in the camper. If not for.., I would have awarded 5 stars. The first thing I dislike is that the oven was completely covered in grime both inside and out. It appeared to have traveled across a thousand miles of dirt roads on the back of a wagon (I should have taken a picture of this). Even though it was packaged and in a box, it didn't seem to matter. Horrible! #2 It arrived with wear on the front from the journey. Clearly, the packaging cannot support something that heavy. That flaw in my oven makes me sad. I installed it after using canned air to remove as much dust as possible because we urgently needed it. Installing it was challenging. I'll explain the problem we encountered. The mounting bracket for the oven's back needed to be flush with the oven in order for the lengthy screws that protrude from beneath to fit correctly and screw in. Instead, the bracket was protruding out too far. It took us a few failed tries to finally understand it. That oven weighs a much. Place a pillow there and enlist assistance. Steam is leaking through the door's glass for me. Uncertain on what to do.

This under-cabinet (over-range) microwave is quite excellent. Even though I had fitted these before and had worked as a mechanic for almost 20 years, it was incredibly simple to install (know my way around a tool box). Although the installation instructions claim that "This oven is provided assembled for roof-venting," my sole complaint is that it was set up for room venting rather than roof venting. I installed the oven under the impression that everything was set up for roof venting, which I have in my kitchen, only to discover that I needed to take it out in order to reposition the blower motor. Although a little irritating, overall I am content. To prevent any further problems, LG really needs to either update the setup instructions or set up the blower correctly.

nice button design 1 through 5 take that long to cook. 30-second add button able to silence or reduce beep (beeps for button press or cooking finished.) Three beeps indicate that the food is finished. Whenever food isn't removed, there is one beep each minute. If you live in a studio apartment and don't want to wake up your roommate in the middle of the night, a muted beep is ideal. The display is WAYYY too bright! can pause the clock, but what good would it do? A vintage sunglass lens was applied (see picture). We no longer detect the additional lens because the brightness has been corrected. Fan is more silent than our previous GE MW. During installation, the squirrel cage fan did come unfastened (you will likely have to adjust the placement of this fan depending on how your venting is for your old MW.) After installation, I had to pull back down and re-adjust. Whenever it wasn't placed properly, it was incredibly noisy. Read a review that mentioned how noisy this model is. Most likely, they didn't properly reinstall the fan, which was the cause. In order to put it up and hold it while you secure it, two persons are definitely needed. The drilling template for the upper cabinet came pretty close to being accurate. Although the turntable glass plate is smaller than our previous GE MW, the size of the plates and bowls we have makes up for it. It has been installed for five months. Good results. The final GE MW ran for 19 years.

Love!!!!!! received in a flash. Everything is in excellent working order. However, because the screws needed to hang this item were placed incorrectly, my husband had to drill new holes in the microwave for the screws needed to fasten it to the cabinet. This would be a nightmare if he weren't so handy, but I do adore the microwave!
