Excellent gloves for the cook who often burns themselves! I adore everything kitchen-related, including baking and cooking. I've lost count of how many oven mitts I've gone through over the years since I'm so brutal on them. The inner is made of soft terry, which is by far the most pleasant and flexible material I've ever felt in a mitt. We adore these gloves! When grilling or taking pans out of the oven, they are ideal for shielding hands from heat. Additionally, they are incredibly cozy to wear. Here, I conducted a quick test with a lighter.Evidently, when heated for one second or more, the surface will begin to blacken. This makes logical given that the flame's temperature is about 700°C/1300°F. If there is scorching, distortion, or smoking during the test, I won't be shocked.
