Oh my god, these lights are actually functional. You can see four lights glowing (brightly!) on my house in the picture I just provided. Additionally, these are set to "low" These lights have been mine for more than three months, and they function well. The ONLY issue I have, which has nothing to do with the product, is that because my house faces north, the solar lamps spend the majority of the day in the shade (and not getting a full charge as much as they should be). But despite this, I still adore the solar lights. My solar lights actually last all night until dawn if they are fully charged. The truth! For the time being, we relocate the lights to the sunny locations during the day and then bring them back to their allotted spots when night falls. This is a bit of a hassle, but when you see the results, it's worth it and helps us save money on electricity. It would be beneficial if you assessed your home and determined whether or not the locations of the solar lights would receive adequate sunlight. Additionally, consider the region of the nation in which you reside; if it's a chilly, frigid area with little sunlight, you might not experience the best results from the product. The maximum wire sizes for these yellow connectors are 14 gauge for the cable leading to your lights and 12 gauge for your main wire. I didn't need to use pliers to crush the wire, despite what other people have claimed (maybe they were using the grey connector?). To ensure that you have some grip on the threads when you screw in the pin, push it all the way down in the channel since 12 gauge is the maximum it will support.Just barely, the 14 gauge wire fits through the opening. To make it simpler to slide in, I cut through some of the insulation with my pocketknife. By pressing the braided wire against the metal connection while the cap is screwed on, the wire is held in place rather than the insulation that surrounds it. The braided wire stretches out around the pin.Even with all the cutting, splicing, and connecting, the connection took me only a few of minutes. All future lights will be installed with this connector based on my early observations.

Everything was simple to do, from unpacking the box through assembly and planting them. It only took a few minutes to unpack, put them together, and place them in the yard. I adore them! It appears as though tiny alien ships have landed in my yard. They scare my dog, but he will gradually get used to them. They are a fantastic product that brightens up the yard and are so close to the ground that it won't be an issue to unintentionally run into them. I have broken several lights over the years, I can't even count how many. These will prevent me from frequently making fresh purchases. And if you're wondering, my other solar lights were stolen, not because I ran over them—although I did run over three of them. Therefore, I rate the construction, design, and luminosity of these solar lights as A (my last set cost $100 from HSN). Just an idea, but I think it would be interesting if you could create lights that could change color. Possibly next time.

UPDATE: I recently got another pair of these flowers because they look so great at night. With the help of these solar lights, I'm attempting to create a wonderful landscape for my sister. After dusk, I can see how the backyard will come alive all by itself.UPDATE: I received a second set after returning the damaged one, and this one functions properly. They perform just as promised and are still very shiny after about a week. Even during the day, the flowers are attractive, but at night they come to life and put on a really lovely display.I just got one set, which arrived promptly and performed admirably for the first several nights. Since I've had them for approximately a week, just one of the two bouquets has been able to light up brightly for a few minutes before going out. When I receive a second bouquet, it doesn't last as long as the first one did. And all of this after spending more than eight hours in the hot Arizona summer sun. Because this product doesn't serve its intended purpose, I am dissatisfied with it. I won't be buying any more of this stuff, as I had originally planned, and I don't suggest it.
