The top and bottom of the clock have two paint chips missing when it was delivered. A picture of one of the chips is shown. Not a big deal. I would have returned it if they had been bigger or there had been more of them. For the cosmetic errors, one star has been deducted. The clock is made of plastic, but it has a fashionable appearance.The directions are a little unclear. To set the time zone you're in, it says to put a battery in, close the battery cover, and then press the button. Don't replace the battery cover and then have to undo it again, as I did, because the button is on the inside.Around 2:00 PM, the clock automatically changed to 4:00 PM. It synchronized with the Colorado atomic clock and was perfectly adjusted to my time zone in less than 20 minutes. Since then, it has operated flawlessly. Now, I can see the clock while working in the yard and at the pool. I genuinely enjoy it!

It is still not functioning properly even after two battery swaps. The second hand kept getting caught on the temperature gauge, so I had to bend it. There is no second hand, to start. I didn't know that when I placed the order, but I suppose that helps to stop the constant ticking. However, it continues to emit a brief "clicking" sound, which appears to occur 1-2 times per minute. So even if it doesn't produce one every second, it does so continuously. Before I learned it was the wall clock, I initially believed I had some loose water pipes.

Early in the 2018 swimming pool season, I purchased this clock. I hung it outside, and for approximately three weeks, it operated flawlessly. Then I realized it was running slowly and loosing time. Since I installed it with a brand-new battery, this shouldn't be the case, but when I changed the battery, the poor performance persisted.Go back a few months. I bring the clock inside for the fall, winter, and spring when the pool season is over. In my home office, I simply rest it against the wall. For the entire 8 month period, it maintains the time ABSOLUTELY.Four weeks ago, I hung it back outside. It operated without a hitch for about three weeks before losing time and running slowly once more.All I can infer from this is that the timepiece gets damaged in some way when exposed to the outdoors (variations in temperature and/or humidity), which is quite BAD for an outdoor clock.Although it looks fantastic, it doesn't fulfill the purpose for which I purchased it.UPDATED INFORMATION: Skynature contacted me shortly after this review was published to see what they could do to make things right. The clock ceased working almost immediately after we hung it on an exposed wall that was also shielded. After tapping it and replacing the batteries, it appears to be operating as it should now. The location is perfect, and the clock is very simple to read. The humidity gauge is a luxury we didn't have on the clock-thermometer this replaces because the other two gages are so small that we have to stand pretty close to check the temperature or humidity. It's not a major issue. (We'd prefer for the temperature gauge to be the largest one, but none of the ones we saw that might have been large enough to view from the pool appealed to us.) We'll be content with it as long as it keeps telling the time.

These were purchased to replace a clock and thermometer that were formerly on my back porch but had faded and shattered over time. These are great since they are solid, heavy, and big enough to be seen clearly from within the house. The hands are a gold color, and the color is a deep gray or black with a bluish-green patina. They look absolutely lovely hanging there. The thermometer needed adjusting/calibrating, but the seller gave me step-by-step instructions. Big and lovely but only functional for a few hours before mysteriously ceasing. I double-checked the batteries. It has occasionally worked for several days before stopping. I would have returned it if I had saved the packing. We'll see if I can return it without the original package.I've updated my review: Update. My new clock from the seller is operating perfectly. It does have a bottom tab to securely fasten it to the wall, but I though it would be fine with just the top fastened. As a result, it twice blew off the wall, crashed to the ground below, and sustained no harm. The second bottom tab was fastened, and it remained in place. Even after being exposed to the sun all morning, it still appears brand new.

We've only had it a short while, and I haven't compared it, so I'm not sure how accurate the temperature reading is. We can easily see it from our pool and lounge chairs, and it keeps good time.
