This fixes the issue that is all too common: As I savor the pistachio's ambrosia, where do I place the unattractive shells? And how do I eat my meager portion of nuts without using my fingers? In order to incise the fibrous residue after the nut is removed, I personally prefer to internally crack the nut. The subtlety the design affords is ideal, especially because the shell is wet when I'm finished. It's difficult to tell from the photo how pleasant it feels, how accurately it takes pictures, and how easily and thoroughly it washes dishes. (already approximately 20 times) The materials are the perfect amount of hard without being brittle. Thank god it was empty when I dropped it. I'll wait a few days before eating any more shells so I can control my intake. It's the kind of gift that initially seems cluttered but later becomes as fulfilling as the fruit it allows for civilized consumption of and becomes an alluring addition to the enormous vacuum packaged supply. My wife surprised me with this when she realized I utilized a double-dish approach. (For that, I advise choosing a warehouse that starts with C.)

Wow! One of those products that makes you wonder, "Why didn't I think of it?," as a consumer. Bravo to you!When I eat pistachios, sunflower seeds, edamame, or anything else with shells, I'm ALWAYS uncomfortably fumbling with 2 bowls! My adolescent daughter is also. I used to discover sunflower seed shells and haphazard bowls of icky, soggy, chomped sunflower seeds EVERYWHERE in our home. Not any longer.It's a fantastic idea!I adore the color, and it is very sturdy!

Because I adore pistachio nuts, I went crazy choosing this bowl out of all the options. I had no idea this existed, much less that there were so many distinct bowls available for purchase. I saw reviews saying that this bowl in particular was made of plastic and wasn't as excellent as the melamine-manufactured bowls. What those critics failed to mention was that, for the most part, the other bowls cost TWICE AS MUCH as this one. To be honest, the bowl serves just as a container for nuts and shells, not as a piece of dinnerware, etc ( or pits from fruit...). So what kind of plastic should one use? By cracking open the nut, you can drop the shells into the dish underneath. The white bowl at the top has a lid that clips onto the bowl and is a fair size. The shells have plenty of room in the larger lower green basin. Otherwise, I would still purchase this one. You might want to pay more if you were purchasing one of these as a gift for someone who is rather picky. It arrives packaged in a manufacturer's colored box with a picture and explanation on it. One of the more expensive bowls is manufactured by JosephJoseph, who creates lovely things, but once more consider how frequently it would be used. I'd still prefer to retain the additional cash in my pocket than go out and get a larger bag of pistachio nuts, which is what I'm planning to do. Yum!

I found this recipe while hunting for something else, and my husband loves pistachios. It's a little bit bigger than I anticipated, which is fantastic. It is made of a strong plastic and functions well. Also, it's kind of adorable. I might need to purchase another one so I won't have to wash this one every day.

Because so many people said that this gorgeous, tiny glass bag was made of very thin glass, I almost decided against buying it. I am SO HAPPY that I decided to get this for my son in any case! I'll say it once more: adorable. It is just adorably cute! The glass is quite strong and, in my perspective, NOT at all thin. It is not an extremely thick glass, but it is also not very thin either. This glass has a medium thickness, in my opinion. Additionally, I appreciate that there are no "edges" at the seams or top opening. The whole thing is incredibly slick. I recently took our upstairs game room and decided to turn it into my teenage son's "first apartment"/Man Cave:) For my son's "living room" shelves, I filled this with Jelly Belly jelly beans, and he absolutely adores it. His friends have all asked where we got this. So strange... Who would have imagined that a group of adolescent lads would throw such a fit over something? HaHa! LOL, but they all adore it:) To describe something as fragile or "thin" is, in my opinion, way off. Gravity and any hard surface are not kind to glass, just like with any other glass item. With an extremely smooth finish and crystal clear glass, this has a lovely weight and feel. I just placed an order for a second one for myself.

I love pistachios so much! I consume them almost daily. Two bowls were typically left out at all times as well. One container is used for nuts, and the other is used for shells. I was the ideal reviewer for this product because I have used it daily since it arrived in the mail. I adore the two-in-one feature since it makes getting rid of those tiny shells so much simpler. It is built of a sturdy plastic, is portable and convenient to wipe down and clean. Due to its small weight and indestructible nature, it is ideal for children who enjoy eating foods with seeds or discardable shells. Pistachios are a favorite snack for everyone in our family, therefore I would gladly buy a bigger version of this bowl to fit the family. I simply refill this one when it runs out while keeping it on the kitchen counter. But because everyone in my house is eating them, I have to refill it numerous times throughout the day.I adore this product and urge everyone who enjoys cherries or pistachios to try it. Before dinner, my boyfriend enjoys pistachios as a snack, which used to make a great mess on the coffee table with a bowl full of nuts and a plate of shells taking up a sizable amount of space. This bowl was a wise purchase. Now that the shells are concealed underneath the bowl, they don't take up as much space and don't appear nearly as messy if he forgets to empty them after nibbling. I only hope I could discover a comparable item made of a nicer substance, like porcelain or clay. The nutcracker is fine, but certain nuts won't fit through the opening.

It's a nice size, comes with the cracker, and looks lovely set out on a table for guests. However, I did not like that it only comes with a cracker and none of the picks. When nuts are cracked, picks are always necessary. I ended up up returning this one, but only because I discovered one with picks that I loved much better. I would have kept it if I needed more than one.
