great blanket for the summer! The cloth is extremely elastic, so I'm still figuring out the best method to use it as an actual swaddle (hence the 4 stars), but other than that, I really like this! Due to its excellent breathability and my confidence that he won't overheat underneath, it's also fantastic for breastfeeding covers. They seem to be popular with my 2-year-old and infant; the 2-year-old uses one of them as a cuddle blanket before bed, and the baby is always content when wrapped in one. The patterns have not faded despite numerous washings and dries, and the blanket has not been pulled, stretched, or torn. No significant issues after having them for more than a month!

This fit with the subject of our Christmas photo shoot, and shortly after, the baby was born. I wanted her "outfit" for the newborn photo shoot to coordinate with our previous color scheme. The color is exactly as shown. Bow perfectly fits a newborn's head. It is a very thin wrap. Not transparent but quite light. It was ideal for my purposes because I just intended to use it for the shoot. In no way would I use it to keep a newborn warm throughout the cold. I'm not sure how well it would hold up, but it might make a great summer blanket. It's useful to know that it's not particularly large, unlike muslin blankets, and that the pattern is just on one side. In that sense, it is more "unfinished." But once more, looking for something adorable for a newborn photoshoot or to take images of the infant in. For those uses, I HIGHLY suggest it! You'll understand after viewing my birth photo. This tiny blanket is one of the nicest presents I've ever bought for my kid on my own behalf; she uses it as a comfort blanket throughout the day and every night before bed. Because my daughter also enjoys chewing on the ears, it's a teething toy she's less likely to drop and have trouble picking back up. She used to rub this blanket across her head every night to calm herself before going to sleep for months on end, and as a result, it became a need to have in the house. This is wonderful, and I'm sure my son will adore it when he is born. The only issue I have is that the fabric snags and catches on everything. It is also just what I desired.My son is now four weeks old. He enjoys this! The only issue I have is that the button holes are a little slack and have already extended, making it easy to undo with a few kicks and stretches. We adore it, however I'm shocked at how quickly the buttons have stretched. The fabric of the sweater has also torn and pilled. I hang dry after moderate washing. Overall, this keeps him feeling at ease and prevents him from being tightly swaddled—he dislikes being swaddled!

When my kid (around 4.5 months old at the time) started escaping our swaddling blankets and the Miracle Blanket and was repeatedly waking up with cold limbs and freedom of limbs, I bought 2 of these back in July. To save our sanity, I wish I had begun with this right away because the two-way zipper makes changing diapers so much simpler than trying to wrap a wriggling youngster in cloth (even though we considered ourselves swaddle experts). The 50/50 is adaptable since, once the baby starts rolling, you can use it without the sleeves. There were a few difficult days when she was adjusting to having her arms swaddled upward rather than downward (although, to be honest, she wasn't a huge lover of swaddling anymore) and when she began rolling/we began unzipping the sleeves (since the newfound freedom of limbs caused her to wake herself up). This has been fantastic once the challenging periods (caused by developmental milestones) were past.Despite the fact that she was still considered to be "medium" weight (probably between 11 and 12 lb), I did purchase the medium and large and chose to keep the larger size. But the collar and torso regions were tight enough that I felt at ease with her wearing it as of that point. (Image shows her at 14 lbs. in big.) At around nine months, she's still wearing it, and I'm planning to use it for a few more months. When she can no longer fit in it, I'll be very sad.I'm the type of person that dislikes paying a lot of money. I initially put this swaddle on my baby boy when he was 6 weeks old. He is my third child, and he has been the worst sleeper for me. Unless I held him on my chest or laid him on his tummy (which I only did during the day for nap times), he was awake every 40 minutes or so throughout the day and night. He loathed the two swings, two rockers, and three chairs I spent hundreds of dollars on.
