Love, love, love this light! Because it is so cutting-edge, stylish, and simple to operate, it could easily pass for an Apple device. Full disclosure: I bought these using a manufacturer's rebate offer. The square shape can, depending on your home and decorating preferences, look awkward next to some furnishings, but only when illuminated. Let me start with that complaint. Our home was built in the 1960s or 1970s, and when we purchased it a few years ago, we updated the interior a little by remodeling the foyer and the kitchen/dining room. The rest of the house's features, like the molding, room shapes, doors, etc., are quite typical. Even though we live a block from a busy intersection with several fast food restaurants, bars, and strip malls, our street is one of the few in the city without any lamps, so it can get very gloomy at night. The single room upstairs is actually the master bedroom, and the dark stairwell can be dangerous. It has a light, but occasionally the brightness can wake up children in the bedrooms downstairs. Introducing these adorable miniature nightlights from Vont. Even for the biggest plugs we have on hand, they each only occupy one socket, leaving the second one completely free. Now that the dark hallways are welcoming, ideal!The practicality of these lights has won me over in addition to their simple modernist lines. The Warm White, 6-Pack I purchased was placed in the following rooms: the dining room, the living room, the dark corridor, the master bedroom, the top of the stairs, and the mudroom closest to the back entrance. Each one is excellent and put to good use. They individually lit just when their area is dark since the light sensor is precise. Speaking of lighting, these fade in or out depending on the environment rather than simply turning on and off like regular lights. Their light is a little brilliant if it's a little dark. Their light is incredibly bright if it is very dark.I taped washi tape over the lamp in my bedroom because it was too bright. Although washi tape is available in a variety of colors and patterns, the diffused light makes it difficult to see the patterns. I can switch tape colors without turning the lights into a sticky mess thanks to washi tape's low tack. I only used salmon tape to cover the light in my bedroom because red-tinted lights are gentler on the eyes. If you do this as well, be careful to spend some time covering the light's edges because they also radiate light (not just the front).Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and would definitely make another one. They work well and are reasonably priced.

Everything is basically controlled by a photosensitive sensor that is located in the center of the device. The lights won't turn on if it is lit, not even in a very dim way. They won't light up until it is actually dark. Just as a night light should, the LEDs themselves are bright enough, but they don't shine in such a way that you can't see your immediate surrounds (and potential threats). Although I suppose you could probably cover the sensor with a piece of electrical tape to achieve that if you wanted to, there really wouldn't be much use. There is no practical method to just turn the light on.With rounded corners and a flat, primarily square face that sits flat on your electrical socket, the night lights themselves have a nice appearance. We've found that the "auto" feature in the bathrooms and our bedroom has been helpful for getting up in the middle of the night. The ability to choose between two different brightness levels is a wonderful feature. We utilize the softer light choice in the bedroom, while the brighter light option works better in one of our bathrooms. We added a second one at the entrance to our bathroom, and we now seldom ever need to switch on the overhead lights because the small light just inside the door does a great job of giving us the light we require most of the time.For anyone thinking about purchasing one of these lights, we have one plugged into a horizontal wall plug and one that we had to plug in "upside down" because we needed to plug something else into the bottom outlet with a larger square head, which would have prevented us from being able to easily push the button for brighter or dimmer light on this light.We will be getting another set of 4 to supplement what we already have because we are so pleased with our purchase.

These lights at night are fantastic. We bought these so that the hallway would be well-lit in case our daughter woke up in the middle of the night and decided to leave her room because she recently started sleeping in a toddler bed. We put one in the corridor above and another in the hallway downstairs, which also illuminates the staircase enough. Since so many LED night lights are now brilliant white on the color wheel, I enjoy that the light is on the "warm" side. The fact that they not only automatically turn on and off, but also self-adjust based on light level, is another feature I enjoy. Around sunset, in the early evenings, the lights come on but are poorly lit and gradually get brighter as it gets darker.

I'm completely dependent on this. I'll bring it with me if I plan to spend a lot of time in a particular space. It works well for just about anything, including watching television or taking a wonderful bath. It's pretty lovely and soothing.It's compact and simple to use, but I have one issue with the location of the buttons: every time I pick up the device or try to modify it, I eventually push one and have to identify which one it was before cycling through the other buttons to find where I was. I do wish the stars were blue or white rather than green, though this has grown less important over time. It's still entertaining even though some of the seller's photographs make them appear more along this range. I'm really tempted to get one for each room because this can't be beat for the price.A helpful hint is to place the projector on the wall and try lighting it with candles or other warm, gentle lighting. produces some gorgeous pink and purple hues that make a nebula much more apparent.

I was astounded by the range of styles when I went shopping for night lights. Choosing the best one without trying a number of other ones is very tough. I just so happened to be with a buddy who chose a store brand that I also liked because it glows rather than projecting a focused beam of light like most nightlights do, and it has a very wide, soft front surface. Additionally, it features a special feature that enables the user to modify the brightness using a slide dimmer control to obtain the ideal level of lighting for the application. I looked into that design and discovered this one, which has similar functionality but is actually in some ways a better design. You should be aware of another problem with it though.THINGS I LIKEThe size of my friend's device is roughly double that of this one, and it has the power socket situated in the middle, making it impossible to operate without using both outlets. That is a deal-breaker in my book. This one can be used in either the top or bottom outlet without obstructing the other outlet because it is smaller and has a plug that is offset on the back. Both types feature slider dimmer controls, but this one is what I would call a "smart dimmer" because the amount it dims depends on how much light is there in the space. For instance, if a lamp is on in a nearby room, this nightlight makes up for the extra light.WHY IT COULD BE BETTERThis nightlight's photocell sensor is so sensitive that even a tiny bit of ambient light causes it to switch off. That in and of itself would not worry me as much as how they placed the sensor on the top edge of the nightlight, causing the light from the device to reflect off anything that is nearby, such as in my case the outlet being under a kitchen cabinet, and tricking the sensor into believing there is more light in the room than there actually is (because it is sensing its own light). You must be extremely careful while placing this gadget because if it is too close to a surface with a light hue, it can instruct the nightlight not to turn on at all.WHY PURCHASE THIS ONEThe main selling point is the dimmer feature. For use in the kitchen, laundry area, utility room, and main hallway, I acquired many of these. Most nightlights would shine too brightly into the bedroom from the one in the hallway since it is situated immediately across from a bedroom door with a larger than usual gap at the bottom. With this one, I can adjust the brightness so that it is exactly right without disturbing the person in the bedroom who is trying to sleep.These are reasonably priced and well-made. I enjoy them.

If you maintain the plastic shield on this small plastic globe, it provides an excellent nightlight without shining so brightly that it wakes up my youngest. We appreciate that the hues can shift. There are a plethora of options available. (At first, the buttons that change the colors and other features are unclear.)The magnificent dance of stars on the walls can be seen when the shield is removed. around the size of a ball with a 6" diameter. The stars extend from the top of the globe or ball. The size of the stars on the wall can only be changed by moving the actual product; if you place the globe in the middle of your room, it will illuminate both the walls and the ceiling. After that, how close or far you place the globe from a wall determines how big, small, and how much the projectory will be. (Having a knob to change this would be fantastic)I do wish it could charge and maintain a charge so that it could run for a short while using the charged globe rather than batteries when the power cord is not present.A timer set for 10-15 minutes would also be useful and less wasteful.We think it's a neat light. I adore the stars and the expression in my daughter's eyes as she gazes at the stars on the walls and ceiling, even though it shouldn't require batteries for the price.As soon as we find out whether we are having a boy or a girl, I intend to get another.
