I adore it. Did exactly what I needed it to for studies involving plasma discharge via noble gases in a vacuum chamber or electric arc discharge through various earth materials in a controlled laboratory environment. The only thing I would have liked to see was an on/off label on the switch, or a clearly visible red color or LED light to show when the power is on. Compared to other options I looked into, the price was reasonable given the power rating. Since I'm not utilizing this supply to power a neon sign as intended, your use of it shouldn't be affected by the absence of switch labeling. The power is "on" if the switch is pressed on the side leading to the transformer. It is "off" if the rocker is pushed toward the side of the three-prong plug. My personal alteration will be to simply add red paint or tape to the word "on" or rewire to a switch box with a readily noticeable red light indicator.Regarding my evaluation, I must state that playing with electricity puts your life in grave danger. So, after a struggle with shipping, I eventually received it! Fortunately, the light itself was in its own packing and was unharmed despite the box being crushed.Although it is small, it is not tiny! I hung this adorably adorable Valentine's Day decoration on my front window. I have nothing unfavorable to say about it. It was noted in the product description that batteries were utilized rather than a plug. I was a little frightened after reading some of the reviews, but I chose to give it a try because of the remote and the fact that it was plugged in.It was simple to put together, and as soon as I turned on the bottom switch (without batteries) and plugged it in within the base, it was ready to use. This set-up, which consists of two light stands next to our couches, is what we have in the living room. We set it up that way so that we can read, craft, or browse the internet while watching TV. The Hubbs and I both see a definite white spot of the other person's light reflecting off the TV because of how the TV is positioned across the room. It's annoying to try to watch a decent show with a white spot in the center of the TV.I reasoned that it might work if we hung the lights higher up in the space. So I got this 16-foot light strip and attached it to the wall about 6 inches from the ceiling. We experimented with a variety of hues the first night to determine which would be ideal, and found that media viewing is best done with either white or yellow. The other colors would be better suited for fun party decorations or possibly holiday celebrations.In our case, the adhesive backing is on dreadfully aged wood paneling, which makes it attach well to semi-porous surfaces. Before attaching the strip, I cleaned the paneling with alcohol. The remote is used to switch the strip on and choose from the various effects that can be performed with it after it has been connected to the power source.This has two drawbacks that should be mentioned: One is that I now have this white strip of LEDs that sort of stands out against a background of wood paneling. That might be a factor if you're someone who is more sensitive to interior design. We rent, so there isn't much potential to remodel the living area and incorporate the LED strip into that layout.Second, you'll need extra support for the end that connects to the power source because its weight will start to pull the strip away from the wall. In order to reduce some of the weight on the strip, I added more tape to that area. In order to prevent it from using too much power from the strip, I put the power supply on a nearby bookcase.The glare from the TV is no longer an issue, and I like the variety of colors in the lights. It was a wise choice.

With this brightness, I'm overjoyed. I imagined it to be smaller, oval-shaped, and decorated with flashing lettering. In fact, I'm pleasantly delighted to see a huge, oblong sign with blue lights dancing around motionless text. The delivery was on schedule, and the packaging was great and secure. It has lovely, beautiful hues and is dazzling. The power and whether it flashes are controlled by two little switches, one on the wire and one on the side of the sign. A good, strong chain that is lightweight, thin, and unobtrusive is supplied. Although the chain and light weight make it ideal for hanging as well, I'm using a window sill to display it.
