Turned to amazon when my local farm and fleet store failed me; I used these to dissolve huge antibiotic pills in water to deliver to my horse. After using a white plastic tube for a few days, the clear sides and cap made it easy to mix and make sure I was going to get most of it into her on the first try, which if you know horses, can often be the ONLY try before they become giraffes and you couldn't get the tube into their mouths. Good suction, didn't leave any residue behind in the tube. Easy to clean, pulling the plunger on and off didn't cause the seal to change. I like that they are individually packaged, both from a healthcare aspect but also nice for individuals who want to put them in a medical kit in the barn and don't mind them getting dusty.

They are a fair deal for a box of decent quality pen needles. As the diabetic, she told me that BD are relatively consistent needle tips compared to other types she has tested.One caveat and the reason for the 4 rather than 5 stars is that these are not all 4mm so if that is crucial to you, be aware. We have to ensure we fully enter and at a straight angle to her skin instead of the little side tilt that has been usually more pleasant for her.Like that we don't have to continually pressing for a separate needle script and manage it with the doc's office either. It's a win win buying these on internet. These are a significantly more economical option than the excessive copays at the pharmacy (on the order of 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of the copay). Still not sure what the insurance covered if this is the price but possibly the drugstore markup is pretty high???

The date of delivery was April 19, 2019. Prior to rating them, I wanted to use them for a while. I genuinely enjoy them. I use them with both of the types of insulin I take: Novarapid pens and Lantus SoloStar pens (for 24 hour insulin) (for 2 hour insulin at mealtime). I therefore typically use 4 needles per day. They work well with my pins and unscrew easily in my biohazard sharps containers, which I use. On rare occasions, you might receive a needle that doesn't seem to want to screw on properly, but I can fix that. That is rare, as I previously mentioned. Don't let the notion of "perceived value" fool you into thinking that because something is cheap, it must be bad. I will be buying these moving forward after using these exclusively 3-5 times per day for almost a month (I still have some other ones from before). I will apply for coverage using my insurance, my receipt, and my doctor's prescription.

Sometimes the needle wouldn't release all of the insulin inside of me; I'm not sure why. When I took it out, it would just start to stack up and spit out. Although not every needle would accomplish it, occasionally I would receive one that would. But for the price you pay, they are unbeatable. I suggest them.

While these syringes are not the simplest in the world to read—I needed my middle-aged lady glasses, LOL—they enabled me to give my kitties and my doggy their flea medicine with remarkable ease. Another great thing I discovered is that the flea medicine does not cause the printed measures on the side of the syringes to disappear, which was something that always gave me trouble before. I would acquire one syringe from the vet's office, only to have it mostly unreadable by the time I got to the last feline. That was part of the reason that I got a big 100-count package of these. So far, though, I suppose I could've continued to reuse the same one or two syringes for quite a few months. If the remaining syringes hold up like this, this package will last me a long, long time. When my son's 6-month-old Standard Poodle puppy became Parvo, we used these syringes to save him. He was so unwell he was unable to eat or drink. I work for a large retail chain that offers one of the worst medical insurance plans for an obscene salary. For families with diabetic pets, these needles' half-unit markings are a big aid.If you're using these devices with a very wiggly creature, it may be a disadvantage since the needle is a little thinner and less lasting. The thinner needle, though, means that my pet doesn't feel it as much.I also wish the needle was a little bit longer to make sure it completely penetrates my cat's skin and prevent accidentally missing the proper spot to administer the shot.Although they are not horrible needles, one must be aware of these drawbacks. If I could locate a thicker, longer half unit labelled needle, I would buy that instead, but I haven't found one yet.

Given that this was so inexpensive and that I had seen far more expensive goods at medical conferences that, in theory, do the same thing, I was dubious. Therefore, save your money by using this inexpensive alternative instead of the more expensive ones. Having said that, you cannot merely hold it in position loosely. To stop the nerve signals from reaching the brain and render the shot painless, you must press it down firmly.Every week, my daughter gets allergy shots, and as the dosages increase, she has been increasingly angry about obtaining them.
