Although I had the time to completely follow through, I had previously stated that I wanted to try the Polygel. I just so happened to watch a video on YouTube that piqued my extreme curiosity in using Polygel. I am self-taught and have been working with acrylic for more than ten years.I'll start by stating that you need the Slip Solution. This keeps your brush from being sticky and prevents the gel from looking like a mess of bubblegum, and it also makes it easier to move the gel around on the form.Second, rubbing alcohol is a good substitute if you don't have the slip solution.It went faster than I had anticipated. I helped with the filing procedure by using an electric nail file. Additionally, a couple forms lifted during drying, releasing air bubbles. I just filled them, cured them under a UV lamp, and filed them down.Compared to the press-ons I was wearing, these are a lot more sturdy. Additionally, I don't experience any soreness or nail problems. Compared to acrylic, they feel much lighter.I would advise newbies to take their time and practice until they are comfortable. If you're doubtful, view a few YouTube videos.

This paint thinner was my first purchase, and I used it to clean my nail brushes after each use. It appears to perform the job adequately, but it does take some time to completely remove the polish from the brushes. This product works well for the purpose for which it was designed, which is to thin polish. My old polishes can be brought back to a useable consistency with just a few drops. The effects do, however, seem to fade a little more quickly than I anticipated (a couple weeks). Fortunately, 4 ounces is quite a bit. A word of warning: If you don't have a dropper, it might be challenging to pour this into a polish bottle, and the polish thinner will quickly strip the varnish from tables! Take note of my errors!

Since the day of my wedding, I have been doing my own nails. Three years have passed since then. Although I have a license to practice cosmetology, I only do my own nails in an effort to save money. Since 2014, I've had fake nails virtually nonstop. I converted to hard gel in 2016 after developing an allergy to the acrylic liquid monomer. Since the change, I've been taking IBD gel. It took me a while to sculpt the gel, so when I ran out, I wanted to try something new.I'm very happy I gave this acrygel brand a try. I decided to choose this brand after watching many YouTube videos about various ones. The tube is a decent size. Quite simple to squeeze out the stuff. It's simple to use the product and sculpt a really nice nail. Even though I'm far from a pro, this product makes doing nails quicker and easier. I needed two hours to complete a two-hour gel sculpture. It simply takes an hour with Gershion polygel. For novices, I do think this is a good product, especially when used in conjunction with dual forms. Dual forms have never been employed by me because I like to sculpt, but others appear to have success with them. This acrygel files like a dream, and even while it can be removed in large amounts, it does so quickly and heavily, not floating in the air. However, I would still use a mask or vent.They are also incredibly strong. I work with my hands a lot. Over Labor Day weekend, I had one nail pop out at the lake, but I think it was more due to my preparation than the product.I soak my brush with 91% isopropyl alcohol, and you don't need much on the brush. You should be able to maneuver the product if you dab it in the alcohol and then tap it with a paper towel. As the substance begins to adhere to the brush, repeat.My only disappointment is that the clear isn't really that clear. It unmistakably has the gritty appearance of a typical acrylic clear. It's not terrible, and I could still make some glass nail art, just not where the tip is exposed most of the time.

This item is FANTASTIC! It comes with 6 tubes of polygel, and according to my calculations, each tube can be used to create 4 full sets of nails. This means that for about $45, you can have 24 sets of nails that won't chip for several weeks! After they remarked on my nails, I managed to get a few of my friends to start using this as well. Though there is undoubtedly a learning curve, here are some things I discovered.1. Purchase the lamp, dehydrator, and sufficient files individually as they are not included (you can use rubbing alcohol with a 70% or higher alcohol content for the dehydrator).2. To avoid scratching your polygel, always use the file's smoother side while smoothing the surface of your nails.3. At first, you will definitely overestimate the amount of polygel you need to use, but I assure you that you don't need to make it too thick.4. When using for the first time, avoid using transparent because it is difficult to see how thick you are making it.5. Make the polygel at the base of your nail thinner so it doesn't raise up significantly because doing so could lead it to lift more easily as it grows out, which is something you don't want.Another money-saving tip I picked up is that you can have any color nails that won't chip by painting regular polish over the polygel after applying the top coat, followed by another coat of top coat.

I'll master this strategy with some practice.Things to prepare for include:The light can burn for a split second, but it functions flawlessly.Avoid using excessive or insufficient slip solution.You really don't need as much as you think you do, so don't abuse the product or use a lot of it.Don't be frightened to file; this is salon powerful.Place the bulk of the product in the form's lower middle.As many YouTube videos as you can to become accustomed to the procedureOn your first attempt, you should use just under half of the slip solution and virtually the entire container of building gel.Overall, I'm quite satisfied and will continue to purchase items from this company as needed.

I will step in either today or tomorrow.There is no shine because this is the natural pink color, which is my favorite, that has been rubbed off. Because I change my color frequently as I refill, they are plain. lifting surrounding fresh growth should be modest.I adore this product since it preps the nail with little any "harm" at all! Because of how thin and brittle my nails are, the fact that they don't need to be filed down like acrylic nails do at a manicure salon is a HUGE advantage for me.The slide solution is the only aspect of this kit that I didn't enjoy. After curing, I observed it left white streaks on my nails, and the instructions make note of this. Instead, I used some 90% isopropyl alcohol that I had on hand, and it resolved the problem. The brush may perhaps be a little bit bigger, but that is not a problem.The cost is excellent! It has already paid for itself (in that sense) and you still have plenty of product for fills and full sets in the future. For a novice like myself, it takes a ton of practice, and I absolutely get that!*The brush and picker in one is incredible, really practical, and simple to clean!*Comes with base, top, and a nail filer.* Gel products are nicely thick and come in white, pink, and clear. To shape my nails, I used a tiny bit of alcohol (do not use too much!).* OMG, let's not even talk about the glitter kits; they are so vibrant and wonderful! * Because I'm not used to glitter, I double coat mine.*UV Lamp is fantastic and simple to use! This little beginning package really impresses me! Use of the Winter Gray set's six gel colors, top coat, and base coat is as simple as applying ordinary nail polish. A little LED lamp is also included in the package. Although it is quite little and flimsy, it is effective. I found it simpler to hold the light in one hand while drying the other hand with the palm facing up and the fingers curled in. I could heal each of my five nails simultaneously in this manner. Edit: 4/24/19I adore this product so much that I bought two full-size tubes. Light pink is essentially a translucent natural pink. Depending on how thick it is, you may be able to see your natural nail underneath, which is still quite attractive. Dark pink has a vibrant or "hot" pink hue. I adore them both.I adhere to my nails for at least two weeks using this technique.Wash them to get any oil off. For a neat, polished appearance, trim any hangnails and extra cuticle growth.Remove the gloss on your natural nail with a soft cloth. Use a dehydrator/bonder. After applying a non-acid primer in two coats, I applied the Marshall base coat. The base coat needs to be cured, remember! A 9W LED/UV lamp that I use is functional.Instead of dual forms, I prefer using nail forms. Dual forms, in my opinion, are more difficult to work with because you have to make sure they FIT PERFECTLY on your nail bed.You have control over where the product travels while using nail forms.Use as little isopropyl alcohol as possible. Your base may become messed up, which could result in lifting. I use 91%. I cure the nails for one and a half minutes on top and for 30 seconds below.Use the alcohol to remove the residue because there is a sticky layer.Using a coarse file makes filing incredibly simple.The images I've included were created using dual forms.It's easy to remove. Use the foil method or file off as much product as you can before soaking in acetone.Hope this is useful!
