This is a fantastic small violin tuner, and what I enjoy about it is that you can just leave it on your violin (next to the fingerboard on the upper left bout) without it getting in the way when you put it back in its case. Nothing could be easier than to attach it using the convenient cam lock lever and set it aside. Additionally, it's convenient to have the option to swivel the display back and forth because I occasionally move the violin slightly depending on my circumstances.I can see the display without my glasses on, and the best part is that it's incredibly accurate. When this model for violin became available, I quickly snatched it up because I had already acquired the guitar version of it for my acoustic and electric guitars (same tuner body, with a shorter clamp that connects on the instrument's peghead) and was very happy with both. I am really pleased with the performance of this small tuner since I liked it so much that I ordered a few more for my fiddly friends. If necessary (for example, if you need to tune with a piano that isn't fully there), you can change the range with the sharp or flat buttons and flip the display upside-down with the push of a button (for alternative mountings). The battery life appears to be excellent as well, but unlike some people, I don't leave mine on constantly (very distracting). It does offer an automatic shut-off mode that, in case you forget, turns the unit off after a few minutes if it doesn't hear any sound.This is the best development in years, and it makes life much easier to not have to search for (or misplace) clip on scroll tuners before a show. I need a tool to tune both my violin and my guitar, unlike my son, a concert violinist with perfect pitch. I've purchased a number of clip-on electronic tuners over the past few years, but even after replacing the batteries, the display on my latest two Snarks is very difficult to see.I decided to try a different brand because this NEUMA product looked decent and was reasonably priced.Although, like my Snarks, it does appear to pick up on harmonics on my classical guitar before settling on the real string, thus far, it has been flawless. That is not the case with my violin, thus it might be a feature of my guitar.The clip has good padding, and the tuner operates when attached to either instrument's pegs or any other part.Particularly crystal clear is the display. I struck the fork, held it very close to my ear, and signaled when I could no longer hear the tone using a timer and an assistance. The output connection is really helpful for teaching electric guitar, but without a backlit screen, it's difficult to read the screen and many students, for instance, overtighten their strings because F and E look so similar. But truly, a good product at a fair price. If you are worried about reading the screen, just think about something else.

It operated until the batteries spilled and it became useless, so I had to replace a device that was at least 15 years old. The device may now be positioned at an angle thanks to the improved version's back flap. Working with it is really simple as a result. A good tuner at an excellent price.

It completed the task at hand and did it more affordably than my other ones. For Christmas, I saw a deal on ukuleles, so I purchased three as gifts. I have a few Snark tuners already, but this one was less expensive, so I gave it a shot. It performed admirably and even has a setting for a ukulele. Additionally, it included picks, which I was going to buy otherwise, saving me even more money. I simultaneously turned on the Snark and this tuner, and they both displayed the identical notes, proving its accuracy.
