Even if you have no prior plumbing experience, the kit is incredibly practical and simple to use. I used cable nail clamps that were 1/4 inch wide to install it on my tiki hut.I would simply caution you to be aware that the hoses are precut. I believed the misters weren't already attached when the hose arrived. I had to purchase some quarter-inch couplings as a result in order to install the manner I desired. These compression couplings are very reasonably priced on Amazon.com. So far, I'm surviving the heat.

This is for some moss I have in my paludarium that is on a ledge above the water line. It works perfectly, and the moss is kept green and is quickly covering some small stones I had arranged as ornaments. If you truly need to utilize the suction cups, it might be frustrating because I had difficulties getting them to stay in place. However, since the lighting system now has a line dangling over the moss, it's not a big deal for me. The nozzle is quite simple to aim; even if I accidentally move it while adjusting the lights, I can always reposition it such that it sprays the upper portion of the moss without difficulty. The ledge is positioned such that water flows downward and stays wet and healthy at the far edge even if it cannot quite cover the entire surface. If the house is otherwise quiet, the pump can occasionally be heard running in another room, but it's only a low hum that can be easily ignored. won't obstruct music or television. I have no issues with accumulation because I just use distilled water in my complete setup.The only significant drawback, aside from the suction cups, is the control panel's blue LEDs, which are so bright they should be covered if you plan to place it anywhere close to where you sleep.

The brass nozzles plus the fact that it arrived pre-assembled make this mister line—the third of its kind that I've purchased—the best. Not for irrigation, but for cooling.I simply screwed it onto a standard garden hose (I used the expandable variety and so far at least the pressure build-up hasn't blown it out) and hung both ends about 7' above the patio to connect it. The hose connection is leak-proof, although one of the nozzles leaks quite severely. Although the set comes with two spare nozzles, I haven't yet swapped out the leaky one.Even if the mist is quite fine, you do eventually get wet when the line is 7' high, at least when there is no wind. It will be hung from the roof eaves tomorrow, and I believe that the mist will be ideal there, especially on a hot day when a little moisture buildup is acceptable. At a height of, say, 15', you wouldn't get wet at all, but I'm not sure.There are not misty clouds in the sky in the picture I'm posting. The mist is so thin that it is virtually undetectable in the picture.With the exception of that one emitter, the brass nozzles, thin mist, and pre-assembled line make this mister an easy recommendation.

In my 10x20-foot greenhouse, I use this on a timer to simulate a rainforest for three minutes each day. They performed admirably! I intend to take them to a concert where we will camp out without electricity for the night. A bucket of water was consumed in roughly 25 minutes. I circled the area and turned the spray in a clockwise direction, but it didn't seem to make a difference. They just continue to whirl. Although it produces a good mist, I was attempting to save water. This won't matter if you connect this to your home.

All is well thus far. Due to the extremely hard water in Nevada, they don't seem to accumulate as quickly as in prior years. The setup was incredibly quick and simple! I used a staple gun and set up with my husband in around 15 minutes. Not sure whether it is the recommended installation method, but it worked fantastically for our garden! And immediately becomes cooler! Right away! They're great so far!

Update to the post-field use follow-up review:The arrangement worked out extremely well. We used an 8-nozzle setup behind a 12" by 12" pop-up cover this past weekend for a competition in South Carolina. After warming up and before their next game, they were given a 30-minute cooldown period in what Northerners would consider oppressively hot and muggy weather. The girls were cooled off between innings using a six-nozzle straight-line setup in the dugout, which was the second application. once more performed as predicted and gave the required relief. It only took a few minutes to disassemble, flush, and reassemble two nozzles that had become blocked in usage.(After testing, the original review below has been updated.)The main reason I bought this set was because of the misting nozzles that were included. I purchased three additional sets with various nozzle openings and standalone misting nozzles to attempt to achieve the desired effect at a flow rate that is tolerable. I intend to use a portable apparatus that is fastened to a pop-up canopy and supplied by a 4-gallon pump sprayer. For summer activities, this will serve as a cooling station.It is essential to understand the nozzle design in order to appreciate the advantages. These have a spring-loaded tip that rests against a ceramic cone that atomizes the water through a significantly bigger aperture than the typical screw-in and plastic nozzles, which have fixed orifices. These have a similar setup to high-end high-pressure misting systems, except that the spring is weaker. The impact is far better and requires much less maintenance than the typical low-pressure nozzles used in other systems, while it is not nearly as good as a high-pressure system like you see at amusement parks. Instead of depending on a single, tiny orifice to atomize the water, the pin and seat design enables the atomizing impact to be diffused across a greater region, the full seat surface of the tip. Clogging should be less likely because of the bigger atomizing zone surface area and the possibility to use a larger aperture, but if it does happen, it will be much simpler to clear out.The hose that came with the system is not to my taste. While it will be good for the majority of usage, heating from sunshine may soften the material and make it easier to collapse, necessitating the use of elbows where there is a tight bend. Not enough to take away a star, but important to note if your arrangement calls for sharp twists and sunshine exposure for the tubing. I choose 1/4" hose that is more rigid, like what drip irrigation systems utilize. The tubing is more than sufficient for straight runs on a patio or free-form runs over a trampoline.After some testing, an update:After my initial examination, I conducted a brief, unscientific test on the nozzles. My pump's water line markings, a stopwatch, and 12 nozzles helped me calculate a flow rate of 0.5 gallons per three minutes. At roughly 20 PSI, that works out to.014 gallons per nozzle every minute. At 20 PSI, the spray patterns on all nozzles were passable but not ideal. The minimum pressure for a really nice spray pattern appears to be 30 PSI. To get my goal run time between tank refills, I will need to remove 4 nozzles, but I am pleased with the results. The sealing abilities of the flexible hose were something I was unhappy with, which cost it a star. Due to leakage problems, I had to discard the findings of my prior two tests. Instead of utilizing the supplied hose, I would advise getting a semi-rigid drip hose akin to the "Rain Bird T22-250S."

For the patio area adjacent to my RV, I bought this product. I enjoy spending time on my patio because I live in a campervan. A ground stand mister I spotted at my neighborhood hardware store gave me the idea to look at what Amazon has to offer. I had to try this one since it was just $15. I'm happy with my buy because it works for me. I heartily endorse this item. It is affordable, easy to use, portable, and efficient.I was a little worried before this item arrived because of the unfavorable reviews left by others. I've experienced no problems. I've been using mine for a month, and while all the heads are misting, there is no discernible difference in the spray patterns. I skipped the maneuvers others described doing to filter entering water and prevent spray head blockage.As other reviewers have stated, if you sit or stand too close or if the wind is blowing fiercely from the incorrect direction, you will be wet from the mist. I don't understand how this is a problem specific to this mister in particular, but I think this is the way misters are in general. Since I am using the mister to cool off, a small amount of water spray isn't particularly bothersome.To attach this device, use a garden hose. I connected a hose end valve to control the water flow near to the mister. See image. I don't have to go back to the faucet to turn the water on or off any more.

One of the finest things I bought this summer. The kit is quite simple to put together and install. I did stray a little from the guidelines. No matter how much I changed the water pressure, like other people, I thought the misters were puddling a little. What I ultimately did was put the nozzles just below horizontal (slightly pointing down). Puddling results by mounting them straight down, and it appears that drips result from mounting them exactly horizontally. I hope that was clear. However, the only tiny quibble I have is that the kit's included zip ties are white when I would have preferred black. Additionally, while putting the nozzle together and inserting the waterline, be sure to push it all the way in and then pull it back a little so it fully seats; this should reveal the majority of leaks. Currently, I'm smoking a cigar while relaxing on my terrace in the Texas heat.
