Pentel Super Hi-Polymer Lead Refills, 0.9 mm, 90 Pieces (C29BPHB3) Review:

I therefore hold my pencil in the manner of a goblin searching for a vein of gold in a dark, filthy cave. You know, in that stiff, fist-clenched manner that would make my former preschool teacher turn in her grave.Because only 0.9 lead is robust enough to handle my combative writing style (who am I upset at? ), I'm completely addicted to it. Hell to the yes. I resorted to Amazon to fulfill my need for graphite after the neighborhood office supply businesses stopped carrying the 0.9 lead. For 90 pieces, this brand offers great value and performs quite well. I haven't experienced any filling or brittleness issues. It's...pencil lead, after all. There is a limited amount to say.Whatever the case, I sincerely urge all you goblin authors to check this out. Who needs "correct pencil gripping technique" when you have 90 tiny pencil lead sticks at your disposal?

Pentel C27BPHB3K6 Super Hi-Polymer Lead Refills, 0.7mm, HB, Black, 30 per Tube (Pack of 3 Tubes) Review:

As a senior in my engineering program, let me tell you that I consume lead like a student of engineering consumes coffee. Nothing is worse than showing up for a critical exam and learning you just have one round left in the chamber and no extra clips to help you answer the questions that are aiming for your GPA. The others are at home, but I always have at least one container in my backpack. I frequently get requests for lead from friends and acquaintances, and once I even supplied some to a professor. The lead is of great grade and resists smudging easily (something that is important to me being a southpaw). I never break my lead while writing, nor do I ever tear through the paper as some lead has previously shown to be capable of doing. If I ever have to use a pre-leaded (?) pencil, I always replace the lead because the default lead that comes with pencils is typically junk. I have been using a Pentel GraphGear 1000 for over a year, and I will only use this lead. It's excellent to be able to buy in three-packs because it reduces the amount of packaging and the amount of time between purchases. Additionally, I've discovered that ordering from Amazon is less expensive than going to my neighborhood office supply store, which also saves me time and petrol. Anybody hoping to make it through college or just to remember to schedule a doctor's visit should use this pencil lead, in my opinion.

Pentel Super Hi-Polymer Lead Refill 0.5mm Fine, 2B, 36 Pieces of Lead (C505BP32B-K6) Review:

The Pentel Graph Gear 1000 belongs to me. I also purchased a 5mm automatic pencil from Amazon, and I must admit that I enjoy using 2B lead!I use my pencil A LOT as a student of engineering and mathematics. I must read through countless pages of writing. I discovered that when using HB lead, either my hand grew weary more frequently, or the lead was too light for me to perceive. It was starting to bother me because I don't press down all that hard on my pencils. Lead was too challenging. My handwriting immediately became a touch more fluid using 2B lead. It feels more like a pen than it would if I were using HB lead since there is less friction keeping the lead from the paper. My handwriting becomes a tiny bit darker, making it easier for both me and others to read. Please take note that you should probably decide what lead hardness is best for you before you purchase this lead. For instance, 2H would be improved if you applied more pressure to your pencils. Since I use pencils very lightly, 2B in my situation was ideal. Too accustomed am I to pens.As a last point, I'd like to suggest that this lead is a better option for you if you're accustomed to the feel of a pen, the glide, the darker lines, etc.PROS: - more penlike glides; - darker lines; - smoother handwriting- more writing (hands don't get tired as quickly)Lead will break a little bit more than HB lead, therefore (only when retracted a little too much)

June Gold 36 Pieces, 2.0 mm HB #2 Lead Refills, Extra Bold Thickness, Break Resistant Lead/Graphite Review:

Ok all... Due to the other unfavorable reviews I read about it, I'm leaving my review on this lead. Am I the only one who observed that there are different hardness options? The majority of the breakage complainers I noticed bought HB hardness lead. Because of this, I bought the 2B hardness graphite lead, which is a little softer and darker. It's perfect so far. It can be broken just as easily as a typical piece of mechanical pencil lead, which will snap no matter what you do or how hard you try.Even though HB is roughly equivalent to a #2 pencil, these 2B leads appear to write similarly, despite the fact that they are meant to be a little softer. As softer leads are typically more difficult to wipe, there are no issues with erasing either. One reviewer mentioned that the lead was "very flexible," but they didn't purchase graphite lead! They purchased unique black colored pencil lead. Before clicking the Add to Cart button, you should be aware of what you're purchasing. There are a number of options available, so some attention to detail and common sense may be necessary. But as another reviewer said, who cares if it breaks or not when there are 300 pieces? You'll have sufficient resources to endure the zombie apocalypse. The dispenser is also fantastic!

How long do mechanical pencils last?

Assuming you are talking about the lead, a standard 0.5mm lead should last you about two weeks with normal use. Of course, how often you use your pencil and how much pressure you apply when you write will affect how long the lead lasts.

How many leads can you put in a mechanical pencil?

Most mechanical pencils can hold between 3 and 5 leads at a time.

Is 0.5 lead the same as a #2 pencil?

No, 0.5 lead is not the same as a #2 pencil. While both are made of graphite, the lead in a pencil is much softer than the lead in a 0.5 lead. This means that a pencil will leave a darker mark on paper than a 0.5 lead.

Is 0.5 or 0.7 better?

There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on personal preferences. Some people may prefer 0.5 because it is less intense, while others may prefer 0.7 because it is more intense. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to decide which they prefer.

Is 0.7 mechanical pencil good?

A 0.7 mechanical pencil is a great choice for people who need a pencil that is both durable and able to produce fine lines. These pencils are also popular with artists and draftsmen because they can create very precise lines.

Is 0.9 or 0.7 lead better?

There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on the specific application. In general, 0.9 lead is better for darker colors and shading, while 0.7 lead is better for lighter colors and finer details.
