ASSISTANCE 11/20/2019:Earlier, I discovered a few spots towards the front of the seat that had sharp edges from insufficient sanding or buffing. Although they are very small, it would be helpful to run your hand or fingers along all of the chair's edges to smooth off any necessary surfaces before you get cozy or frisky in your seat if you have thin clothing that is prone to being stuck on sharp or rough areas.I had to reduce the rating to 4/5 stars since, although somewhat little, it is frustrating to see these in a chair at this pricing point (especially if you're not careful like I was).—-REVIEW FROM 9/27/2019:Overall, it's a pleasure to sit in this chair. Although it is constructed of mesh and appears light, the materials are of good quality and offer support for your neck and lumbar region in addition to comfort on the seat. The segmented curves on the back assist me maintain a healthier posture while sitting for extended periods of time because I tend to slouch or have a lethargic posture. Sitting in chairs without this degree of support will undoubtedly feel different from other types of seating. It's wonderful to lie back in.The chair appears to be of higher quality than one made only of plastic and cloth thanks to the outside metal legs and the reflective metal strip on the back. The trade-off is that it does make the chair a little bit heavier, but if you're planning to keep it in one location, that shouldn't be a problem.The armrests are my favorite feature. They're slightly wider and larger than the typical little armrests that most chairs have, which I feel to be the ideal size. But the beautiful thing about these armrests is that, based on your preferences, you may lock them at an angle that is slightly inward or outward. If necessary, you can additionally advance the armrest cushion.I honestly don't have too many other observations. I can't believe I spent this much time writing about a chair, but it is an excellent product and deserves a perfect review from me. If anything changes after I publish this review, I'll update it.5/5

I eventually reached the point where my beloved chair, which I've owned for what seems like forever, needed to be replaced. I work from home, and even though it wasn't the prettiest and had seen better days, it was incredibly comfy and gave wonderful back support!After reading the reviews and the description of this chair because I needed a new one, I decided to take a chance and get it. Well, it arrived today and was incredibly simple to put together. The directions were very clear and simple to follow, and the only tool needed was an Allen key, which was supplied! (And I'm saying this after never having put together a chair before, and this was my first time!) It's even more comfy than my old favorite chair was and offers even more back support, which I've been noticing as I've spent the entire evening sitting in it working on finishing off last-minute Mother's Day orders.I heartily endorse this chair, and I'll be placing another one for my daughter to bring with her to college in the autumn.

This chair in white leather is gorgeous beyond words! The white leather is unbelievably plush! Easy assembly was required for this chair. A layman could easily follow the instructions because the parts and bolts were clearly labeled. I typically have my husband build furniture and other things because I'm a small lady, but this was so simple that I finished it in about 30 minutes! How good this chair is for the price is beyond belief! If the leather is actually pleather, you sure have me deceived because it looks real and is rather gorgeous. I'm including some images. It came out of the package looking so beautifully labeled that I had to take a picture of it. I have also included a few pictures of the chair. Although I'm still working up the finishing touches on my new home office, you can already see how fantastic this chair looks next to the crisp, white chair rail! I'm still smitten with this chair, actually! Very comfortable and buttery soft. I love my studio/office even more now that it's finished, and after using it and sitting in it, I wanted to add the following: This chair's design is fantastic; not only does the back assist you maintain good posture, but it also has a little curve that hits all the appropriate points and makes it quite pleasant to sit upright and with good posture. I was scared that the white leather might be damaged or discolored by the child and dog. However, there were none at all. This chair is unlike some white leather I've had before that appears discolored at the slightest touch from a sticky palm. Several images of this chair from my just finished and redecorated studio/office are being added. This chair is absolutely fantastic, and I still love it as much as I did when I first got it. P.S. Because I'm updating my review, I figured I'd mention that after reading the description in more detail, it says that this is actually PU leather. Therefore, you vegans can shop with assurance! Everyone else should have faith in the fact that this chair does not at all have a cheap fake leather look; on the contrary, it completely fooled me before I read the full description! P.S. You'll see in the updated photos that I've put a brand-new, white faux fur pelt to the chair. It's opulent and I adore the way it looks!

This project is reasonably simple to complete if, like me, you are not an expert in furniture assembly, but it is not an umbrella. It cannot simply be opened and used right away.Pretty simple to understand. One thing I suggest doing is placing the chair on the base first, then mounting handles to the back of the chair. Verify which armrest is the left one and which is the right one. View the photos that go with this review.If you have a second person, it would be much simpler when you climb and sit at the back portions towards the finish. It is advisable to set it aside if you are by yourself. Look at picturesA word or two about screws as well; in order to secure them tightly, they must be put on at the very end.It was a little bit of a hassle because they weren't exactly aligned, but nothing too serious.Finally, it has a few little dings and scrapes, but nothing severe. It is undoubtedly a $80 chair, not a $500 one.

I ordered this chair to swap out an older IKEA chair. I decided to hunt for a new chair because the old one I had lacked support and was unpleasant to use for longer periods of time.The chair arrived in a brown package in two days (thanks to Amazon Prime). Everything was well wrapped with bubble wrap and packaged inside. The hex screws were arranged in plastic trays according to size, making it simple to compare them to the assembly manual.The chair came apart easily. From assembly to use, it took me around 25 minutes. For assembly, a hex key is provided in the package. The assembly instructions, which are merely a visual guide demonstrating which pieces link, were straightforward and simple to understand. They also included annotations with the appropriate screw size and amount.The chair is superb on its own. The armrests' ability to adjust is a great plus (as my IKEA chair only had fixed armrests that were positioned poorly). When the sliding lock lever on the side of the chair is released, the seat may recline and offers a good amount of support. It is also stylish and has an ordinary office chair appearance. The chair's back is permeable and contributes to overall comfort. My previous chair had faux leather, and after a while, it would become uncomfortable.I bought casters (also provided by Smugdesk) to replace the chair's original wheels because I use it on a hardwood surface. The casters are effective and roll easily. In their individual review, I will go into greater detail about them.Overall, you can't go wrong with this chair because it is a good value. Given that delivery is included in the price and that the package weights about 30 pounds, the price is quite fair, so I am happy with my purchase. This chair costs $10 less than the closest equivalent desk chair from IKEA, which retails for $99.99. I would suggest this chair to anyone seeking for a desk chair in general or looking to replace an uncomfortable or flimsy desk chair with something more supportive.

What can I say but wow! For a very long time, I had my heart set on a $800 Hermon Miller, but the cost was simply out of my reach. Ten hours a day, four days a week, I work from home. The old chair was no longer functional. I reasoned that because I needed to replace my office chair, which was ten years old, I should at least acquire a good one. It arrived in the mail a few days ago, and so far, I don't regret it.Pros: 1. Very comfy for extended periods of time (my old chair caused me mild back pain after an hour of sitting). In my normally warm office, the ventilated mesh back helps to keep me reasonably cool.2. Simple to understand directions I finished putting everything together in under 30 minutes. Unless you have a helper around, I advise fastening the back to the bottom bracket before mounting it on the seat. Before you begin construction, you might also wish to inspect the shims. Only a handful of them fit the big screws (I had to take 3 screws back out just to get the right shims).3. Contained all the components you required to assemble it. Furthermore, if you don't want to get your hands dirty, they also included some mesh gloves!4. The construction, which is made primarily of metal, feels incredibly solid and long-lasting.5. Arm rests with adjustable height are really useful. especially if, like me, you frequently transfer between different height desks.6. The casters roll easily and quietly. I can pretty much move silently throughout the office if I want to.Cons: 1. When I received it, the box was really beat up.2. There are fixed armrests. There is no option to change the height.I'm satisfied with it thus far in general. This chair doesn't seem to be too far behind other costly seats I've sat in that are comparable in price. In comparison to the standard task chairs that can buy everywhere, it is absolutely worth the extra money. Depending on how the chair holds up for me, I'll update this review in the future, but I believe it will last a very long time. Cheers!

I've changed this review from four to five stars because the customer service was outstanding!A replacement arm is on its way to me, and they repaired the injured arm in under two days, according to an updated review. I'm so ecstatic about that, I can't even express it.I have to give the seats five stars, but if I could, I'd give the customer service ten.I can say that I'd heartily suggest both this chair and this seller.—————————————————————————————————————————————————-Original review: I bought two of them; they're really lovely chairs. They're stylish and comfortable, and they're great value. Simple to put together, although I'd suggest using two people to hold the pieces while you assemble them.However, I discovered that one chair's arm had been harmed during transportation.Naturally, I assembled one chair before seeing the damaged one was approximately 80% complete. I've contacted the manufacturer to see if they can send me another "arm" for the chair.It doesn't seem to be a manufacturing issue, so returning it after we assembled it and tossed the boxes away is probably out of the question. We believe that we were unlucky, but I thought I'd contact the manufacturer nevertheless. I'm looking for a successful outcome.Although I can tape it, it's always disheartening to receive anything new that has been harmed.New rule at our house: Before disposing of the boxes and assembling any future things, make sure everything is in working order.Overall, I'd still suggest this chair because our other one came properly, even though the damage appears to be a shipping issue.The only reason for the four stars is shipment damage. If not, it would receive five stars.If the manufacturer can give me a replacement arm piece (customer service did in fact send me a replacement), I might update to 5 stars; my rating is now 5 stars on all counts!

The installation process took around 10 minutes to complete without any issues. I've had this chair for four months now, and thus far I have nothing negative to say about it. I work from home and sit in this chair for roughly 8 to 10 hours a day. I am 6' 1" and 195 lbs. I've reached a hitch in the installation instructions around halfway through. The component on the chair's seat is connected to the chair's back by a plate. It has an angled plate. Unfortunately, the illustration in the instructions is unclear as to whether the angled piece should face the rear or away from it in order to connect the plate. Sadly, the backplate attachment is not shown in the instructional video, but I was still able to figure it out from the video: [Removed YouTube link] See the accompanying incorrect/correct image. The footrest is likewise installed according to the directions, however mine was already put together.I'm done with the assembling. It takes little time (15 - 30 minutes).Before purchasing this chair, I had a cheap highback chair. The seat of the Killabee chair is much thicker and stiffer than I had anticipated. However, I'm happy with it. Although it is a little thicker than I'd want, the lumbar support pillow will improve my posture. The chair does have a manual recline, though. Once it is in the desired position, you should lock it using the lever located under the seat. It's simple to raise and lower, however I've got mine set at the lowest position, which feels a little high for my desk. (I'll modify.)After being pulled out, the footrest swings up and over. The footrest feels somewhat fragile in comparison to the rest of the chair. It does work, though. Just don't lean or put a lot of weight on it.I like the chair overall.
