Recently, I had to travel to Germany, and our luggage had blown out a wheel on the previous trip. The hunt got going... I wanted a checked bag that wasn't too big but would hold up for 7 to 10 days of business travel in addition to working for those desired vacations. The three suitcases we ultimately discovered were suitable for both my wife and I. These are sturdy, seem well-built, and appear to have a long lifespan. The case cratered a little when I sat on it, but it bounced immediately back. I also carried some hollow chocolate eggs back in my bag, and several of them were damaged during handling from the trip. This is the only drawback so far. I was expecting them to have a little more firm shelled. I found the medium-sized luggage to be ideal for my 7-day foreign travel. I bought this suitcase for a trip to Las Vegas for work. I've wanted a hard shell luggage set for a while, but I haven't been able to find one from a reputable company at a reasonable price (I do not fly very often so I refuse to pay a premium for high-end luggage). I flew my family down, and we stayed for just over a week. Why is this data significant? since every bag was completely filled! To get the luggage to zip all the way up, I had to essentially sit on top of them. When we got at the airport to check our luggage, all three of them were overweight, as we had anticipated. I've done a ton of study and am aware of the consequences of overloading this kind of luggage (Split seams and broken zippers). Because of the low cost and two layovers, I EXPECTED to arrive in Vegas with damaged bags. I was surprised to see how well the bags held up. I have a very dim view of products that are less expensive and believe that you get what you pay for. I felt that this suitcase had plenty of opportunity to let me down since I had to change hotels twice and take two flights to get home. They have already surpassed my expectations after 5–10 kilometers of walking, 15–20 escalators, and 4 flights. Who knows how long they will endure, but for now, I recommend this set. I made my decision based on the product's size, reviews, and available colors because I needed these right away for a trip I was taking. I liked that I could choose a color other than the typical plain black, and the green was perfect for me. Additionally, if a buddy ever wanted to borrow one, it would be gender neutral rather than pink (which I would have loved lol). Although consistent with previous reviews, the color of the green is NOT as vivid and attractive as it appears on the photo; rather, it is a little more subdued and, in my opinion, a little more woodsy than olive. I have a ton of photos that I took from all of its features and even when it was fully loaded, but I can't seem to find a place to submit them on this specific item's website. :(The suitcase (I don't use the mini one) is durable and I have no complaints about it, but it's sort of dumb and not big enough for my laptop. So the focus of my review will be the suitcase.There were no issues with the item's performance as a carry-on. I always used American Airlines for my travels, and I never once had to check it because of a size or weight concern. Through the airport, it moved without incident. The grip was fine, and the wheels operated well. Pushing the top button easily and rapidly extends or retracts the device. There was the occasional tip or flip, which I can blame on the way I handled the bag because it was narrower than a larger one and it was simple to twist when you pulled it up next to you. However, that was really just how I handled it.It actually has a decent amount of space inside. I had two pairs of jeans, yoga pants, sweatpants for the house, eight shirts, ten pairs of underwear, a few bras, four pairs of socks, low-top sneakers, flats, and heels, as well as three pairs of shoes. Oh, and on top of that, a second hoodie. I had my makeup bag hidden within there as well. Without using the 3" extender that unzips if necessary, all of it. It was risky for me to have to inspect it. However, they didn't have room for carry-ons on one of my trips to and from an air force base in a small plane, so they had to be checked (at no additional cost, if I may add), and it held up well against their rigorous handling.We successfully navigated six airports and returned home in immaculate condition. Thankfully, it had no scratches or dents from being handled by agents or put into a belt or airplane, and it had a ton of storage space! All of the undergarments, socks, and other items were put within the zip mesh pocket on the inside, with the shoes at the bottom, followed by the jeans, tops, and sweatshirt.I am really happy with this piece's quality and durability, especially considering how reasonably priced it is. It successfully completed the task I needed it to complete. I really have no issues about it and am forward to use it again for travel.
