Along with some black/orange paracord knots I fashioned as markers and some orange Travelmore silicone ID tags, our luggage stood out as we descended the luggage claim area. On the underside of these handle coverings, which I was unaware of, there is an ID tag that needs to be filled out. When a French Polynesian resort transported our bags to our bungalow, they later contacted to say they believed they had brought the wrong suitcase. The plastic or leather luggage tags are frequently crushed, shredded, or otherwise damaged by the baggage handling equipment, as I discovered twice when my luggage went missing. I always check to see if my luggage has one of those ID holders since a baggage handler at the airport informed me they work best when they are integrated into the side or back of the bag (as opposed to hanging or being connected by a cord or cable). This is practically a must-have travel item because it's difficult to find hard side luggage with an integrated ID holder. One of these is so tightly attached to the handle with Velcro that I can't imagine it being damaged by luggage handling equipment. I have spent years hunting for these covers. I never discovered my original American Tourister neoprene suitcase handle wraps after purchasing them years ago. These wraps contain an inner velcro wrap that can be fastened to one strap and an additional connecting outer neoprene wrap that can be wrapped around the second strap to secure both. When you need to separate the two straps, you just undo the velcro on the outer neoprene wrap, and because the inner velcro wrap is still in place, the wrap won't come off and get misplaced. I use it to keep two straps on a bag together, add comfort to any shoulder strap, or identify my bag quickly. They come in 4 sets of two each of neon green, orange, neon green, and neon red. I apply it to the straps of my crossbody purses, totes, everyday handbags, water bottle holders, briefcases, and luggage, among other items. Keep in mind that these wraps fit 1.5–2 "broad straps Possibly 3 if you use the inside wrap "is that you only use the outer neoprene wrap.
