How can you tell if a stone is raw or crystal?

If you're not sure whether a stone is raw or crystal, there are a few ways to tell. First, take a look at the surface of the stone. If it's rough or uneven, it's likely raw. If it's smooth and polished, it's probably crystal. Another way to tell is by looking at the color. Raw stones are often a duller color, while crystals are usually brighter and more vibrant. Finally, raw stones are usually less expensive than crystals.

Genuine Rough Moldavite 10-14 Carat Stone, One Piece Review:

Moldavite isn't the prettiest crystal in the world, but I didn't buy it for looks, and the moment I pulled it out of the packing, I felt the energy. It's a tiny bit, so don't anticipate something substantial, and take special care to store it safely. But in this case, size is meaningless. My heart chakra was the recipient of the tiny, bumpy, dark-green piece of Moldavite I had, and as soon as I did, my entire body was filled with a lovely, warm, tingly feeling. This crystal, I believe, may be the most significant one I possess. I am positive that it is legitimate because it was neatly packaged, arrived in wonderful shape, and was packaged carefully. I'm certain I'll purchase a couple more Moldavite items from this merchant in the future.

The stones arrived on time, securely packaged in bubble wrap and a sealed plastic pouch.I obtained around 57 stones of the following types (my daughter might have taken a few! );1 and perhaps 2, ChrysopraseBloodstones two1 substantial, high-grade rose quartz4 pinkish-cloudy stones that appear to be quartz7 Ametrine/Amethyst (Amethyst with Citrine mixed in)Amethyst, two1 smoky/dark quartz5 more white-smoky quartzMilky Quartz 2Unone clear quartzHematite, one1 Granite with Orange Dots1 Grey Granite with SpotsThree Petrified WoodTigerseye oneSoladite, oneFour Blue Quartz (This is an unregulated term, although it appears to refer to quartz that has soladite in this context.)Red Jasper 3Carijo Jasper, 31 Kyanite green?2 Purple Chalcedonies?3 Green Quartz and AventurineZebra Jasper, one1 streaked black and brown One more Jasper?1 Something striped, opaque, and yellow. I do, however, hope that this provides you a general notion of the kind of stones in this mixture. I can say with certainty that my mixture of stones did not only include those listed in the description above! If I learn of anything else, I'll update this list. This is probably not for you if you're seeking for stones that are very lovely or striking. But this is the ideal "beginning kit" if you want to employ crystals for various upgrades or healing, or if you want a combination to learn how to recognize gemstones.I further posted a picture of my stones.I was able to identify these by learning which semi-precious stones are frequently imported from Brazil. Since Brazil is where all of these mixes are from, I suppose that is what you can anticipate from them all.

Hypnotic Gems Natural Tumbled Stone Mix - 25 Pcs - Small Size - 0.75" to 1" Avg. Review:

So, it was interesting to receive this collection. I gave up on having any expectations of what I would get and just went for the unexpected outcome. And I was taken aback. Generally speaking, rather pleasantly. The things I got were as follows:Amazonite lapis lazuli (I was glad to receive one. Although it was small, I'm glad I got it!bluish quartz crystalsBlue Agate stones, maybe (blue lace maybe)Jade, probably tumbled, with visible veins. Otherwise, a scruffy piece of tumbling aventurine would be the best guess.)Clear Amethyst QuartzClear QuartzBronziteRed jasper, rose quartz, and red dolomite (suspecting it is)Blue (with brown) (with brown) Dalmatian stone in chalcedony and citrineDendritic tree agate, which is quite attractive. Initially baffled me, but a little study can go a long way)It's quite murky and difficult to tell what it is, but I think it might be a brown agate stone because of a pronounced band on one side. Confused about this one).Anyway, I managed to collect a big variety of stones in generally fantastic shapes and sizes. Rose quartz is light in color, but it also comes in a variety of adorable pink tints. There are light purple amethyst, which are exquisitely hued and have a lovely tone, however they are again a little lighter than the normal deep hue we usually associate it with. The red Dolomite stones, of which I received 2 or 3, had recognizable red lines and veins, however I wouldn't exclude out receiving multiple red Jasper stones. I can confidently assume that the stone in question, which is a notable neutral reddish-brown-purple stone (however, tumbling ruby? ), is red jasper. Perhaps it's something different, but it's lovely and a nice addition to my collection.I do advise purchasing them, especially in sizes Medium and larger because you'll get more detail, tones, and hues, plus everything is extremely reasonably priced.

CrystalTears 4 PCS Thumb Worry Stone-Amethyst Rose Quartz Lapis Lazuli Tiger's Eye Healing Crystal Pocket Palm Stone Review:

It's a little expensive for such a tiny stone, but it gets the job done. I tend to tear napkins, drink labels, and anything else nearby when I'm anxious, but holding this is far more comforting. The stone's groove is soothing. This also makes a fantastic portable gua sha stone, which I use to rub over my face and the back of my neck to encourage blood flow and evacuation.Rose quartz is said to promote emotional healing, calmness, love, and tranquility. Even though I'm not sure I believe in all of that, I wouldn't mind getting that extra benefit.Makes a wonderful present because it comes in a sweet tiny pink box. I'm actually really happy with this purchase for just a small stone, and I'd definitely make the same choice again (in case I lose it!) and will undoubtedly buy these in the future to give as gifts. One of those strange little impulse buys that turns out to be something you didn't know you needed.

HYBEADS Natural Crystal Pendulum 12 Facet Reiki Charged Review:

I chose to buy despite reading reviews that said it was a scam. This is actual amethyst, I'm quite sure of that. Nothing out of the ordinary about the colors, they appear wonderful. I used a sharp blade, which is often given a hardness rating of 5, to test the hardness. A 7 is true amethyst. I failed to even make a scratch. There is a tiny chip on one side, but it appears to be an amethyst's natural flaws. To make sure it wasn't a resin, I used the blade to close in on those. No dents were made. It feels solidly constructed. Due to the cost, I was apprehensive, but I know this is genuine.

Gemstone Beads, BRCbeads Natural Chips Irregular 15 Color Assorted Box Set Loose Beads 7~8mm Crystal Energy Stone Healing Power for Jewelry Making(Plastic Box is Included) Review:

These chips of gemstone are pretty lovely. I don't really care if the colors are dyed because they are vivid. The size variation is acceptable to me because, in my opinion, the beauty of natural stone chips lies in their irregularity. The box is excellent. Even if they are all from this batch, the variety of chips is excellent since it will result in some highly unusual jewelry. So far, every chip has sufficient holes, albeit some of them are not centered in the chip, which increases the likelihood that it may break off or cause the jewelry to be uneven. Of course, using natural stone chips also involves that.I'm a little disappointed since, like someone else said, not all of the container's portions are evenly full. There are a lot less of the softer, more neutral, but still jewel-toned (fluorite?) chips than there are of the others. It works out okay for me because I bought it to add to my existing supply of natural chips. Equal proportions, though, would be preferable so that each part could produce more than one item of jewelry.Additionally, it would be beneficial and quite simple for the seller to provide at least a detailed description of the stones included. I am aware that I can eventually find out which stones are which online, but it would be helpful if the vendor could provide a list so I don't have to rely on my own judgment. It would be much better if the list included pictures of the many types of stones.Overall, I believe that the price of this stone pack is very reasonable. I'll probably look at more products from this vendor that are similar to this one.

Malachite Tumbled Stone Gemstone Crystal Healing Rock Wiccan Supplies /Black velvet bag/ Info sheet by GYPSY PALACE Review:

You can't always expect a thing to be flawless. It's still a lovely stone, though, and it's wonderful if you're fortunate enough to get one that speaks to you. My gift was well-packaged and came fast. The information card and pouch are incredibly helpful. Mine was slightly under an inch thick and around one inch broad. You're not guaranteed to receive the exact same stone as everyone else if you purchase one of these. For anyone in your life who collects crystals or stones, however, it would make a lovely gift.

30PCS Freshwater Pearl Oyster Cultured Love Wish Round Pearls Various Shining Meaningful Color, Oysters with Pearls Inside (6.5-8mm, 30 PCs/lot) Review:

These were delivered in the ideal packaging for a birthday party. No shells are shattered; each was contained in a tiny paper sleeve; all I need to do is attach a label and ribbon. The degree of service that I received for this order exceeded my expectations. I am genuinely blown away by the excellent service and product. I did open one. If you've never done this before, be aware that opening an oyster does smell bad and requires some cleanup.
