My wife and I have long used a multi-compartment roll-away hamper. We chose to just go back to the fundamentals with a freestanding unit after having two units break. Being OCD, I had to purchase three. These containers are large enough to carry all the laundry that will fit in our new front-loading washer and maintain their shape well. This hamper came together easily and has a lovely appearance. If I don't pack the garments down, the mesh inserts are the perfect size for a load of laundry in my machine. The only thing I'm having trouble with is how to secure the mesh bags to the hamper's top. The mesh bags include fabric tabs at each of their four corners that must be passed through loops in the hamper's top and secured with Velcro (see image). After the load is complete, it can be a nuisance to unfasten each of the four tabs, remove them from their loops, and then perform the opposite procedure for each tab. It would have been preferable to use magnets or Velcro to fasten the bag to the hamper directly rather than using tabs and loops. I could probably fix this myself. A pretty good hamper overall.

This was a recent camping trip item we purchased. I wanted something with a little more structure than what we often do, which is to tie a garbage bag to a metal stand (see pic - to the right of the camp stove). This is quite lightweight while still being durable enough for standard camping trash. There is enough bag to pull over the sides of the 30-gallon black Hefty bags, which are the ideal size for this. Once it began to fill with beer cans, I did end up using a binder clip to secure the bag to the container. :)You can cover the can throughout the day thanks to the zippered cover, which is a nice feature. Since we were in a bear-infested area, we did empty it every night and keep it in the truck. The trash bags were not pierced, so the interior of the container didn't get dirty; however, if it had, you could easily wash it out. For carrying the bag inside the container to empty it, there are also handles.There are many comparable goods available, but I chose this one because it has a bottom loop and a stake built in. Despite the fact that there was no wind, it was great to have the option to stake it down if necessary. You might use a tent stake in place of the extremely robust yellow plastic stake.We simply collapsed the container at the conclusion of the journey, fastened it with the given velcro piece, and placed it in the provided storage bag.If you're seeking for a portable garbage can substitute, I highly recommend this.

This hamper has been excellent thus far, but the centre separator is beginning to come apart. The walls must be gradually being pushed out by the clothes inside because the Velcro isn't adhering as well. You might be okay if your hubby doesn't cram the clothes in as mine does. You don't need to take the entire hamper to the washing room because it contains mesh bags on the inside that also fasten with Velcro. The only inconvenience is that each time you put it back in, you have to rejoin those four tabs.

This compact bathroom setup for five people has been ideal. We spent the longest time looking for a low-profile hamper. Despite there being a container in the corridor, the youngsters continued spilling their towels on the ground. This one will fit in the tiny space between the toilet and bathtub!
