These are of excellent quality. When a present of three lamps arrived, I purchased three of them, which remained in a box for about a year. The harps were gone when I took them out, so I was unable to put the lamps back. These were incredibly simple to install and the finnial has a good weight. What beautiful finials these are! I adore the finish because it nicely complemented my oil-rubbed bronze lighting. The pattern is visible above the shade and matches the lamp base perfectly as well! This strong finial is securely fastened to my harps. Since my harp is different from most in that it attaches to the light bulb rather than the lamp base, I was concerned about that. I'm really quite happy with these, and at less than $4 each, you can't go wrong. I'll only mention that the two pack price is ridiculous because I can get three singles for less money than that double pack. A terrific product at an even greater bargain. STRONGLY advised!!

These light harps are incredibly durable, and they have served me well. I looked for harps on Amazon because I wanted to adjust the height of the harp on a pair of old French lamps. I bought this 8 inch pair since I thought a two inch shorter size would work well. They turned out perfectly and are quite resilient. I now have a set of new lampshades that are the ideal size, and they were exactly what my antique lights required. The answer was to lower the harps by two inches. I didn't know the name of this piece of hardware, but while I was searching for a replacement finial, several lamp harps appeared in the results. I made the calculated decision to take a chance and order a pair of 8-inch harps, which were two inches shorter than the previous harps. The sturdy harps perfectly support the bulky shades. Additionally, they were simple to install. I currently own two beautiful antique lights with fresh modern shades. I endorse these robust harps. They are really well crafted and can revive an outdated lamp.

Ignore some of the criticism; these individuals need to calm down; for goodness' sake, it's only a fancy nut. carries out its intended function! I was surprised by the quality for the price. Advice? Make sure the thread (1/4-28 thread) will fit the stud on your lamp by paying close attention to the listing. To make sure the size is right for you, use a tape measure to check the real measurements: the "bulge" is 1-1/2" tall and 3/4" in diameter outside. For some reason, the seller did not include the finial when listing the package's dimensions.

So I bought one of these a few weeks ago from a different vendor who was a complete failure. But these were of considerably higher calibre. One distinction is that the mantle hanger is glued to the support arch. Additionally, the mantle wasn't just swaying. Unlike the previous one, which had already failed, the 1 hour burn time appears firm.
