A SUCH a good game! I had just recently purchased a home, so I needed to stock up on some backyard games. Since this was reasonably priced, I decided to give it a try. The pieces were all in terrific shape and the assembly was incredibly simple. It would be useful to have even simple instructions with some labeling on the parts to make it easier to know which to use when during assembly. This ladder ball set is excellent! Perfect for setting up at the beach or even in the backyard. There may only be four legs protruding from the base of some sets if the cross bar components are missing from the front and back. These are more durable than them. The entire square foundation is without a doubt the best option. Although the carry bag is nothing remarkable, it serves its purpose. Although a shoulder strap would have made it slightly better, the game isn't heavy thus it's not horrible. Last but not least, compared to other bolas I've used, these ones resemble golf balls more. That's not always a negative thing; in fact, I taught myself how to play using a homemade set and real golf balls. But when they collide, they bounce much more, which can make scoring more difficult. Other bolas have a little larger ball and more pliable rubber. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference, but even if you don't like these bolas, it's still worthwhile to purchase both this set and a less expensive set of bolas. Then use them to create a little bit more of a challenge!
