three-gallon kitThe kit with an acrylic lid, ASIN B00W8ZU5FK, is what I initially bought.For turning pens and other circular work, I needed a stabilizing chamber to stable very fragile, "punky" wood. Due to spalding in the outer margins, I have a lot of hardwood firewood with beautiful figure. I had been hardening the soft wood with CA glue, but it was costly and time-consuming, so I switched to stabilizing.I had a few inquiries about stabilization that online research didn't answer because I'm new to it.I registered the kit with BACO and submitted a ticket with my inquiries. The following day, BACO answered with thorough explanations and a recommendation to get in touch with them if I had any more inquiries.I had no problems keeping the pump and stainless steel chamber at 28.5 Hg for more than 24 hours. I can switch the pump off without a drop in suction after hitting 28.5.I was asked to assess this chamber with a glass lid and the gauge assembly mounted on the chamber rather than the lid during the support discussion.I stabilized many batches of pen blanks over the past week after getting the new chamber on October 14.I'm thrilled with the new look. Any resin splatter that ends up on the glass cover can be removed with ease.Since I use a Pyrex bowl to keep my blanks in the chamber and the new side-mounted gauge assembly is set 5" from the bottom of the chamber, one worry I had was that resin would be drawn into the vacuum line.So far, this has not proven to be a problem. However, I just $5 for a set of 1000 ml glass beakers at Michaels and will begin using those if necessary.According to BACO, the issue of the vacuum port's position will be dealt with.Regarding stabilization, the image above with the two blanks displays a raw, punky blank that is soft enough to be indented with a fingernail on the left and a stabilized blank made from the same piece of wood on the right. The stabilized blank weighs 2.5 oz, the raw blank weighs 1 oz, and resin has been vacuum-filled into the middle of the stabilized blank.After turning the stabilized blank in the left image, the image on the right displays a cigar-style pen.I can't compare other brands of stabilizing equipment because I haven't tried them, but I wouldn't think twice about buying from BACO in the future because of the product's value for money, high quality, and commitment to its clients.

Despite using this vacuum chamber for months, I still adore it. Degassing RTV silicon molding compound is what I mostly do to make silicon molds for wax injection and other vacuum requirements related to lost wax casting. The quick and simple connection and removal of the lid is what I've found to be the most appealing about this chamber. When the valves are opened, it always seals flawlessly and rapidly and comes off right away. With the short labor period of quick setting casting investment, speed in placement, vacuuming, and removal is crucial. The location of the valves and the quick and simple access is another aspect of this chamber that I particularly enjoy. The last thing I want to be doing when dealing with quick-setting compounds is messing with buckles or screw tops.

Before I purchased my own extractor, I conducted months worth of research. I work in the industry in California, where I get to observe and test out a number of various systems. I simply couldn't imagine spending that much money on a closed loop system for individual patient runs, so I began looking at less expensive but equally effective systems. This is that system. Spending additional money on a name-brand system would be a waste because this system is of high quality. extremely easy to set up and use The first time I used it, I got a 13% return on the 140g of trim I had packed in there. I really like this heating pad. only varies about 2 degrees and performs exactly as promised. It has been in use by me for three weeks. I haven't encountered any problems and don't anticipate any. This pad is excellent for vacuum chambers or any other need, in my opinion.
