I have had this sink grid for almost a year, but I wanted to wait to publish a review till I saw how it fared. I'm happy to say that I absolutely enjoy it! I have a deep kitchen sink, and because of the slope, dishes slide toward the drain when I put them in. They can't do it because of the sink grid, and it still looks excellent. The rubber feet have not scratched my sink, and it hasn't rusted. I also enjoy that there is a hole in the middle so I don't have to take out the entire grate to dump food scraps in the waste disposal. I simply place it in the dishwasher to clean it.

I didn't realize I needed this sink hole cover until it was too late for simple installation, but it is just what I needed. My outdated stainless steel kitchen sink need a new disposal and faucet. I switched from a tall, single-hole Moen faucet with no support for the side sprayer to an older model with a side sprayer. I didn't even order this sink hole cover until after the work was finished because I didn't consider it until the plumber told me while he was doing it. The cover was delivered on schedule and is of high caliber. The fact that the top is made of metal is good. The nut is strong, and the bottom is made of durable plastic. It was a nightmare to install, though, when the disposal was put back in. I began by cleaning out the wound and cutting my finger open with the jagged edge. Once I had the bleeding under control, I followed some other reviewers' suggestions and, because I was by myself, taped the top of the cover to the sink. This functioned fairly well. I made an effort to place it such that once it was tightened, the brush marks would coincide with those in the sink. I came pretty darn close, in my opinion. If I had had any remaining energy, I might have tried harder. I don't have long arms, I'm not slender, and I'm not particularly tall. It was practically hard for me to bend my arm around the garbage disposal and the sink basin in order to reach the bottom of the sink hole cover, much less put the nut on and tighten it. This was true even with an empty cabinet. I had a lot of difficulty getting things done for a long time, but I eventually succeeded. After more than a month, it still appears to be holding fast and cleans up well. First lesson: If you're changing styles, make sure to comprehend the distinction between the before and after faucets. Unless you or a member of your household is small enough to crawl inside the cabinet or has long enough arms to reach everything, be sure you have EVERYTHING you need before you begin the work.

About six months ago, an undermount double bowl kitchen sink that had been installed by a contractor on a granite countertop started to droop at the intersection of the front and rear of both bowls. Due to the limited space and impossibility to remove the countertop from the cabinets, extra mounting clips (per the first installation method) could not be installed. Installing these Cinclips in the confined places where the sink bowls contact each other and the cabinet woodwork was incredibly simple. 1) Re-caulk the sink bowl where it was pulling away from the granite (using transparent silicone). 2) To wedge the front of the sink back up against the granite, use a piece of scrap wood. 3) Insert the Cinclip into the cabinet, pressing it up against the sink lip. 4) Screw the Cinclip into the cabinet woodwork and secure it there. 4) Remove the wedge of scrap wood, and the sink's sagging in that area will no longer exist. 5) Insert a wooden wedge between the sink and the Cinclip to exert further upward pressure on the sink if there is still some sink sag as a result of improper Cinclip installation. To attach this wedge to the sink base, use silicone glue. 6) Carry out step 6 anywhere the sink sags.

We had to patch two huge holes after switching to a single hot-and-cold faucet. As you can see from the photographs, this item matches our sink well. It was really simple to install, arrived in two days, and was well-packaged. All you have to do is plug it in at the sink's base. It fits perfectly! On schedule, the clips that we ordered arrived. Just amazed that this item isn't carried by any of the big box home improvement retailers. For our application, ideal. I didn't intend to make holes in our quartz counter top to attach the sink's included clamps. Using all 10 clips, we installed a Kraus sink that was 30" x 18". Use Loctite quick setting epoxy, which can withstand loads of up to 3,000 pounds per square inch. Lay out all the components beforehand to avoid rushing the installation. Prior to placing the epoxy, make sure the area is properly prepared and cleaned with denatured alcohol. Then, let the epoxy in place overnight to completely cure. The correct clip engagement can be achieved by hand-tightening the wing nuts. Avoid using tools to tighten because you risk popping the epoxy clips off (this will load them up much higher than they will ever see holding up the sink). Last but not least, be careful to silicone-set the sink right before affixing the clips. We installed the counter top upside down, and when the materials had time to cure, there were no installation issues. Finally, to get the strongest possible bond, use a lot of epoxy and make sure it passes through the holes in the clip. I apologize for the linguistic drool; I hope everything goes well for you. This is simple enough for the ordinary humanoid to understand.

The fact that this product fit like a glove exceeded my expectations, which it already had reached. My grid is working out perfectly; it doesn't slip slide fits perfectly in the sink; the opening is exact to the open drain area in my sink; and, well, I love it! Goodness gracious! This product is AMAZING!!Let me start by introducing myself. I am a 47-year-old woman with some experience doing some simple DIY projects. I just put a new sink and plumbing in my rental property; I truly wish I had used the Snappy Trap there since it was such a mess.
