Macho 7oz Student Karate Gi Pants Review:

The size 4 fits me comfortably and probably as they should (size chart, these are manufacturer sizing, not a size 4 off the rack at a department shop), but just be aware that there is a ton of thigh room and you won't look at all pretty or shapely in them, lol.:D However, these are Kung Fu pants, not clothing. My favorite hiking pants all have gusseted crotches, which is a nice feature. Although the weave is more of a twill style, the fabric has a slight sheen similar to that of a cotton poplin. 65 percent cotton and 45 percent polyester make up the fabric. After testing them on and deciding to keep them, I cleaned mine, but it didn't make much of a difference—they still have a lot of body and crispness. I'd describe the material as medium-weight, similar to a thin denim or a strong khaki. They feature the seven thin rows of stitching in the hem that are typical of Asian apparel, which is a really charming touch. Along with being aesthetically pleasing, it also keeps the pant legs hanging correctly. Double-stitched elastic waists are used. The white shoelace-style drawstring is the only aspect I don't particularly like, but it's a little quibble. It seems like these pants will last a long time.

FitsT4 Karate Pants 8oz Middleweight Elastic Waist Martial Arts Pants Perfect for Training or Competition White, 000-5 Review:

Many gi trousers seem to be extremely tight around the waist, making them an uncomfortable fit for kids who might be a little more husky in the centre. Thank goodness, these trousers had an elastic waistband like a regular pair and didn't make my son feel stuffless. Thank you for the wonderful goods at a fair price—if only they had pockets!

Karate/Taekwondo Pant middleweight White 8oz for Training Black & White 0 to 7 Review:

My 11-year-old is 5'1-5'2 and weighs about 100 pounds. He has a 27" waist, and the black size 2 fits him beautifully. For karate, the elastic is just tight enough to keep the pants up. We didn't need to make any alterations because they are baggy like in the photos but end just over his feet, preventing him from tripping. To assist the stiff material break in, I washed and dried them several times. In general, these trousers appear to be incredibly strong and suitable for any kicking and ground practice.

Gladiator ProForce 8oz Combat Karate Pants Review:

I am 190 pounds. and have a height of 5' 11". There was no need to have them changed because they fit nicely in size 5.These pants are about the same thickness as a regular Judo training Gi material, which is a little thicker than traditional karate training pants. The construction of the pants is identical to that of a standard karate training pant, with the addition of extra cloth in the crotch area to allow for more range of motion and in the legs to allow for baggy or "roomie" pants to be worn when necessary.I studied some of the reviews before making my decision, and one of them claimed that the trousers would prevent kicking above the waist. However, I can promise you that this is untrue; the pants are quite comfortable and permit full range movement, even up to a complete split. The back pocket, which is a welcome innovation and makes these pants wearable for regular gym use as well, is the only aspect of the pants that departs from the typical design of karate pants. The black sewn-in brand patch on the front of the pants was the subject of the other major complaint. While this is a matter of personal preference, I believe it makes the pants look more fashionable if you plan to wear them to the gym for weight lifting or other non-martial arts-based exercise classes. Despite appearances, the patch does not prevent using the pants for stretching or exercise.I gave these pants a perfect five-star rating since they fulfill all the requirements for a karate pant while also being enhanced by the addition of a rear pocket and a heavier yet breathable material (55% cotton, 45% polyester). As an added benefit, I must admit that the pants simply look really great when worn. As far as training wear goes, they are a tough pant that will last designed with enough of room for stretching with for martial arts and stylish enough to use in the gym as well.

Century Middleweight Student Elastic Waist Pants - White Review:

These white pants in size 1 are generously cut and cozy for mat work. They are made in China. When the waist is laid flat, it is 1112 inches wide when it is not stretched out and 1612 inches wide when it is. Three pieces make up the crotch, which has two lateral triangular inseams that let you move your legs freely without worrying about rips. They are longer than the typical online-only dogi pants. My tall, 7-year-old daughter (4'6") had outgrown her size-1 taekwando pants and the following size would be too large, so I ordered them mostly for this reason. The pants we received fit according to the recommended sizes. The pants were initially sized by washing them in extremely hot water and tumble-drying them at a high temperature; at this point, the outseam measured 3012 inches. A little rectangular (about 2 x 34 in.) black tag with the company name stitched on the outside of the left leg appears to be easily detachable if necessary. The manufacturer's label [Fig. 1] contains clear English directions for routine washing (as well as an acceptable French and an unusual Spanish, which are not fully coherent in all three languages). Other bleaches may be used for the white cloth pants instead of chlorine bleaching. For us, a straightforward wash and dry process using cold water and low heat eliminates any concerns about shrinking or wrinkles.I enjoy the material. Although the manufacturer's label reads 60% cotton / 40% polyester, the Amazon page depicts it as 55% cotton / 45% polyester [Fig. 1]. Although the weight (approximately 6 oz) is not specified, the fabric is similar to that of contemporary karategi, has sturdy double stitching, and effectively wicks away sweat (in a pinch, the pants could even be used as the zubon for a judogi). The cloth has maintained perfectly well with all the seams intact despite the rigorous use my daughter had been subjecting them to to get a black-belt promotion. The waist drawstring is of low quality, and even though it is knotted to keep it at a consistent length, the ends started to unravel after a few months.Compared to her previous pair of pants, these are thicker and slightly wider at the cuffs (which were the usual poly-cotton dobok pants one finds in the US). When kicks are executed with good speed and strength, these traits cause an audible snap, which provides fantastic aural feedback to enhance performance. This feedback is more challenging to obtain with materials comprised primarily of polyester.

TOPTIE Middleweight Karate Student Elastic Waist Pants Review:

For our 10-year-old grandson, who is 59" tall and weighs roughly 75lbs, we bought a size 2. Although it's a touch long, it fits perfectly if you roll the waist down once.
