For the most of my engagements, I sing professionally utilizing a Bose system, but I occasionally play for small audiences of up to 12 people, therefore I wanted a portable, lightweight amp-speaker. None of the three Fisher systems I tried, which were larger and heavier than this Archeer, performed even remotely as well.I play backup music from my laptop using the AUX input. At half the weight, the microphone that comes with the Archeer practically matches the sound of my $150 microphone. For both the accompaniment and singing, the approximately 6" speaker's audio quality is superior to others' 8" speakers in a good range. Individual volume controls are useful as well; in my house, 3/4 was as loud as my dog's ears could handle. I haven't turned up the volume all the way. I had no idea it would be like this.The only drawback is that the user guide's translation from Chinese makes it difficult to grasp and that it describes the charge icon's status incorrectly, therefore I utilize their suggested charge time.I'm happy with my buy overall.

Our outdated and more expensive CDs have prevented us from using our old karaoke machine, which uses CDs. This mic works well, so I tested it out. Bluetooth made it simple to pair with our phones or speakers. We simply followed the instruction as it was included. We simply use the microphone to sing along to YouTube karaoke. Because the speaker is already a part of the microphone, it is not excessively loud, but it is adequate. It has the ability to add echo, and the echo makes it sound better. I acquired an additional microphone. Although it only comes with one, duets require two. The real fun starts after that. Use Bluetooth or CDG to connect to a TV or Bluetooth to an iPad or Android device. The iPad or notebook holder will fit the gadget, but it won't if it has a protector on it. Lots much fun thus far for the money. I noticed something that you might find useful that I didn't see in the product description or other reviews: I would suggest purchasing a 1/8" (3.5mm) Stereo Cable ($9.99 at Radio Shack; probably cheaper if you shop online, but I didn't know I needed it.) that will connect to the signing machine via the Audio IN (marked only by a musical note) spot in the back of the machine next to the spot where the video OUT cables attach. This cable will work with most personal audio devices, including the iphone, ipod, and ipad.This is great because it lets you from buying a ton of Karoyke CDs that your kids will want today but never listen to again by next month. 2) Connect your iPad and use the countless karaoke song and video lyrics available on YouTube. 3) Connect your iPhone or MP3 player, especially if it has a streaming service, and find just about any karaoke song you could ever want. Blast it through the singing machine.Since the lyrics currently only scroll on the iPad and not the TV, my next project is to use the chromecaster to broadcast the YouTube karaoke lyrics on the TV. This is a negligible trade-off, though, as YouTube offers a sizable karaoke library without having to buy numerous CDs, some of which will lose favor with the group. For the finest sound quality, turn the iPad volume all the way up.One more thing that makes this cable a good idea, especially for young children, is that the songs that young children frequently want to sing from their favorite recording artists are challenging. It's not the worst thing in the world to sing along WITH their favorite recordings, as the microphone easily allows the child's voice to boom over the singer's voice, but the singer is there as a guide; it can be challenging for young children and even some adults to follow scrolling lyrics. I looked online for numerous different kinds of speakers. The Ion GameDay Speaker is owned by the majority of my coworkers. It's fine, but I wanted something better and different. After that, I discovered this Pyle speaker. After reading every review, I was certain that this was the speaker for me. I was astounded when I got it. The main reason I purchased it was because we are permitted to use speakers like these at work. Now at work, the majority of my coworkers let me use my speaker rather than utilizing theirs. It is a lot noisier than ION game day. And occasionally, when I take breaks, some of my employees ask if they can use my speaker. The absence of a battery life indicator is the one aspect about it that I dislike. Therefore, it either shuts off when the battery is dead when I don't plug it in and charge it or when I do. The battery life is quite good. I didn't charge it after two days of use at work. It died on the third day around halfway through my shift, which was fortunate since I had the charging cord. And I adore that a wireless microphone and remote control were included! I'm quite pleased with this speaker and am eager to tell everyone who asks that I bought it from Amazon.

I appreciate that this machine uses current technology, such as an iPad, tablet, or smartphone, to access karaoke software. Once you finished listening to the 20 or so songs that were pre-loaded into our older device, you had to buy CDs.
