These were made just for your Model 3 and worked flawlessly for me when I did my own tire rotation. I bought it myself for approximately the cost of one rotation because my neighborhood tire store only had ONE of them (I have no idea why they won't invest in this set to attract more customers). Thanks to these pucks, I was able to complete this task myself as I already have the necessary instruments at home.After the initial lift, I learned I was doing it incorrectly because these particular pucks have a red gasket that allows you to first insert them into the lift point's indentation hole before raising your floor jack to meet it and then lifting. I purchased these to repair my car's exhaust system, and I've already used them multiple times. They are substantial and dependable. The major reason I purchased these was because they are substantially more sturdy and go higher than the jack stands I previously used.You are putting your life in the hands of your jack stands when you completely descend beneath your car to work on it. If these fail, 4,000 pounds of metal will crush you. They are sufficiently overbuilt for me to feel certain about my safety underneath the automobile. The double locking mechanism gives additional security, and the metal is exceptionally thick and robust.Working underneath the automobile from a higher vantage point is considerably more practical. These items have plenty of height, and these jack stands are the ideal complement for the maximum lifting capacity jack I could find. Let's start with the negatives first:Even though I love Curt products, their recent customer service has left me unimpressed, which is why I gave them a 1-star dock. Even though the item was sent in a plastic bag, the handle could have gotten damaged or something could have gone missing. I was astounded to see this jack that UPS had delivered in a plastic bag. Who knows; perhaps Amazon didn't bother boxing the box because it was a return.I also emailed them about the height of the installation, but they never responded. Even if they are indeed created in the USA, it doesn't really matter if you can't even reply to customers.Pros: Considering that, the purchase is a good deal. Since purchasing my 5' x 8' trailer, I have added additional fencing in an effort to make moving objects around easier, but of course this has increased weight. It weighed easily 200 lbs, so after trying to lift it by hand for a while, I gave up and got the jack.It was quick with my Lincoln 140 Mig welder. I used a few pieces of wood as support for the jack, squared it up on the trailer tongue with four welding magnets, and then started welding after using an angle grinder to remove the paint. It's incredibly lovely that the base is wider and larger than I anticipated.Like another reviewer said, turning this up or down requires a lot of cranking. Although I had considered purchasing one with the lever in the horizontal position, this one was the most affordable at the time, so I went with it. I'm extremely pleased with the purchase because I don't use it frequently enough to justify the additional expense.

These are a great deal for the price! The foundation is made of good gauge steel, which is thick and solid yet not excessively heavy. The paint is shiny and applied uniformly.In my perspective, the locking mechanism could feel a touch more "positive" and is a little "clunky." However, I can confirm that I have put weight on them and that they appear to be secured securely enough that I felt comfortable going under my truck while it was on stands. Be warned that any flat portion of your car's frame may become dimpled by the saddle surface (mine are being used to elevate on older pick-up which has a full chassis). I used these to protect the frame from the top of the "saddle" when putting my old truck into long-term storage (I laid a piece of heavy angled steel across the top of the saddle).Only having used them on a concrete surface, they appear stable. For a weekend DIYer like myself, it's hardly "top of the line," but it's still lovely. In fact, I decided to get an additional pair.

In my 69 years, I've owned and used a wide variety of stands, and these are superior to the majority. The components are excellent. The stand is made of thick steel with excellent welding, and the supports are made of hefty iron. The paint is excellent, too, so it must have been an accident that someone acquired a set that was rusted. His second set was fine, as I can see. The safety block or pin is one feature of these stands that I truly enjoy. It offers the user an additional layer of security. The safety pin will prevent the stand from collapsing if, in the unusual case, the adjustable stop were to slip out of its slot in the support. This might occur if the user unintentionally bumps into the release, albeit it would be challenging when they are heavy. One reviewer, I see, awarded the stands three stars since they weren't as big as she anticipated. That's bad since she gave the stands a lower rating because she didn't properly read the product description or the FAQ section. Keep that in mind as you examine the total rating.

These jack stands' double locking feature was something I truly enjoyed. I would have like to get a set that was created in the USA, but unless you have a lot of money to spend, locating a set that is genuinely produced here seems to be a fool's errand. They seem to be excellent quality for the price. I regret not realizing that my floor jack did not lift the car high enough to get these under the pinch welds beneath my 2005 Corolla. But with a little creativity, we managed to slide them below. Through the replacement of my back struts and my front brake pads, they supported the car nicely, never swayed, and felt incredibly stable. We had to really tighten some of the parts down a few times, but the car wouldn't move.I had second thoughts about purchasing these pads after reading several complaints about the welds. Since I want to make sure that my purchases endure a long time and that I obtain the greatest price possible, I frequently spend a lot of time shopping. But after reading a ton more positive reviews about them, I decided to buy them. Although I have never welded before, it appeared that these held my automobile just well and showed no signs of malfunction. Granted, I did get the 3 ton jack stands for my Corolla, which weighs 2,500 pounds. When it comes to something that is supporting a car over you, I believe bigger is preferable ( I also had my wheels under parts of the car, as well and the floor jack just barely touching the jack point just in case). My car remained in place on these jacks for a total of 6 hours without moving. I would strongly advise.

I have frequently trusted these extremely sturdy Jack Stands with my life! I've used them on my 3/4 ton Dodge Ram multiple times, and not once have I given them the slightest chance to fail. They utilized incredibly heavy quality metal to put things together, and the welds look fantastic. The additional benefit of the double locking mechanism gives me peace of mind. Remember that these are meant for trucks and SUVs and that most vehicles won't fit under them unless you jack them up much higher than is necessary or even safe for performing basic maintenance on a vehicle.

1Despite having bought a smaller hydraulic jack, I was unable to lift the automobile high enough to place a jackstand under it (on the lowest level of the jack-stand). I then began to consider bigger Jack-stands before settling on this one.When it was supposed to, it was shipped and delivered. When it first arrived, the packaging Styrofoam was completely destroyed into a few hundred pieces when I opened the "battered" cover. Naturally, I was concerned about the Jack's condition at that time. I snapped a few photos "just in case," but once I got all the Styrofoam off the Jack, which is really sturdy, it was in excellent shape. (Therefore, I skipped uploading the photos.) This is a substantial piece of equipment, yet it had the support and strength required to keep it in good condition.The following weekend, I used it to jack up the car and change the oil and filter. In actuality, I believe I needed less energy to move it out the door than I did with my previous, "lower weight" jack. Instead of picking up and carrying the old one out, I'slid' the new one out by rolling it up to the door sill, giving it a little lift to get the back set of wheels over the sill. I was very happy when I used it to jack up the automobile. It continued much beyond the point at which I needed it to stop so that I could place my jackstands under the car. Additionally, it was simple and quick to raise. I also liked how much easier it was to manage than my old (smaller) jack when you went to let it down.This jack weighs three tons. I believe the largest automobile I've ever owned weighed two tons (a Lincoln), but being vastly overrated in that regard doesn't worry me in the least.I also bought some new Jack-Stands and Wheel-Chocks to go with this jack. Too many individuals have been crushed under cars to ignore the need for safety measures. Do it correctly, stay safe, and live long enough to spend time with the people you cherish.
