The instruments have acceptable build quality and seem to be well-made, however their extremely sharp tips necessitate extra caution when using them! The tips of these tweezers are not serrated, which means they lack holding ability for little pieces, which may easily slip out and fly across the room never to be found again. I recently got another set of these tweezers since I adore them so much! I spend a lot of time working with and placing tiny, 0.4mm precious metal particles under a microscope. Tweezers that are precise and of high quality are a must, and I've searched through various brands in search of the ideal pair. These are all there is! At temperatures between 1500 and 1700 degrees Fahrenheit, I regularly need to make little modifications throughout the fusing process, which eventually destroys the tweezers. I absolutely love these tweezers and have just ordered another set! I perform a lot of work under a microscope inserting and manipulating precious metal particles, the smallest being around 0.4mm. Precise and quality tweezers are an absolute necessity and I've been through several brands seeking for just the perfect ones. These have been it! I usually have to make tiny modifications during the fusing process at temperatures around 1500-1700 degrees Fahrenheit which is of course eventually damaging to the tweezers. Great for electronics, these. The tips are sharp and have a very small contact area, making them ideal for manipulating small surface mount parts. They have the proper stiffness so that you can manage the force on the part well. The points are sufficiently sharp to accomplish at least 0603 size, if not much smaller. That's good, though, because smaller-sized parts don't work well with tweezers designed for larger items. If you've ever used subpar tweezers, you know that they utilize a less springy sort of steel that kind of twists when you compress them and the tips slide around. There is also no wobble out of plane when you close them. These $5 tweezers don't have that problem at all, unlike the cheap ones that render them useless for little tasks. It's also wonderful that mine haven't developed any magnetism.But be sure to follow the advice. They work just fine when used normally, but if you drop them on hard ground or rub them against a rough surface, they will bend like any sharp point. Keep the small silicone sleeve that protects the points that is included with them. To keep the points nice and safe, place it over them while not in use. Additionally, avoid giving these to children as the tips can easily piercing.

In our Fluval Chi tank, there is an African dwarf frog and three male guppies. All of them appear to be content, but poor George never gets to eat. George is really excited when the tweezers are pulled out, and he even starts swimming to the top of the aquarium to get fed.Oh, and the quality appears to be nice. Excellent set of tweezers that are helpful for many jobs. They are without a doubt incredibly beneficial for soldering wires together or to a board. However, they are also useful for holding the tiny screws that put on spectacles. The other day, one of my nosepieces came off, and I had to replace it. I had one of those kits for nosepiece repairs that included screws and nosepieces, but even though I had no issue putting the new nosepiece in place, my large, insensitive fingers were unable to insert the tiny screw into the tiny hole. And no, covering the hole with a specific item would not have been helpful. The tweezers with the 45-degree head, though, are what I'll blame. Got in on the first try with help from one of the odd-looking lighting-equipped magnifying headpiece sets. Really pleased with this buy; it came to the rescue.

The tweezers are excellent value for the money. They have more tougher steel than other ones I've bought at similar prices, and they feel quite pleasant and don't bend easily. Tensile strength and grip can be at least doubled by gradually bending them into the shape of a "wishbone." However, due to their strength, you might need to bend them around a pair of pliers, a tiny metal pipe, or another object.If the weld connecting the two sections of each set of tweezers together is strong or not, only time will tell. The biggest issue I've had with less expensive 2-piece tweezers is that the weld will pop one day while they are in use, causing them to drop what you are holding and become instantly useless.
