The most durable labels I've ever used are these Avery Ultra Duty GHS Chemical Labels for laser printers. When they arrived, I initially though they could be made of Tyvek, but I can now see that they at least have a plasticized coating (and the labels may be completely plastic.) They are resistant to chemicals, abrasion, and UV for up to two years outside. These items are made to hold together and adhere even under the most difficult circumstances.The industrial strength glue has been proven to hold for at least 90 days while being entirely submerged in water.200 labels, each 3 1/2" x 5" and arranged four to a page, are included in this package.These are not intended for use with inkjet printers, but rather with laser printers. My laser printer produced flawless results when I printed some of them. With varying success, I also printed some on my Epson inkjet printers. My printers with DuraBright ink cartridges produced good prints, but I'm not sure how long-lasting the ink would be. My soy-based ink printers produced shoddy prints that smeared right away and were obviously unable to adhere to the labels properly. Therefore, I would suggest that laser printing is the only option that is trustworthy.I gave Sharpie markers a try, and all of them—aside from the ultra-fine line Sharpies—performed admirably. Given that I only have a black and white laser printer, this is a wonderful option for me to add color to a label. It took them about 20 minutes to dry completely, but once they did, none of the ink smudged or ran when I put the labels in water.Like with their other labels, Avery has a ton of free, pre-designed, and editable templates available on their website that let you make labels quickly and with excellent printing results. At the rifle range, my friend and I purchased stickers for targets. I purchased these 2 inch squares, whereas he purchased the 2 inch dots. They are clearly less expensive than anything you can get at Walmart or the gun shop, but overall they are good and suit their job. But even at 100 yards, the targets that change color on impact are still simpler to see using a spotting scope. These will be used by me since I believe they will be effective at tighter ranges of 25 yards and in, and I'll utilize them as aim points at further ranges.

The labels are of excellent quality and stick very effectively. They seem to remain put and work well under heavy use; I've used them on a variety of containers.However, the software is web-based and is, to put it mildly, inconvenient. Although Avery still offers excellent downloaded SW, you must use the website in real time to access it. The system doesn't seem to support sheets with different labels unless you manually change each record, which is tedious as well, and hope the website doesn't crash.I've resorted to using pre-existing Avery sheet generators to prepare the labels, returning to my previous strategy of employing home-generated labels. Actually, there were two factors that led to the acquisition. First, the labels' quality, which is more than sufficient. Second, the display's indication of the stated simplicity of preparation. The latter is incomparably poor. Avery ought to offer a straightforward integrated machine for resident preparation.

After applying carrier oil and essential oils to the labels, the ink remained intact. They cleaned up without any problems. The labels are simple to peel off (they cannot be removed by hand). But the fact that I can move them about on the container without damaging the label is a benefit for me. They are scratchable, however given that they can endure lubricants, this is only a small problem.

First, a lovely, sturdy plastic carrying and protective case for the tape writer is included in the package. I was concerned about where I would store this, but because it comes with a case, I can easily fit it on my tool shelf. The Tape-writer, a user handbook that seems concise and uncomplicated, is located within the case. There are two character wheels as well. The first is for regular letters and numerals, and the second is for the mirror image. The last two rolls of ribbon are made of stainless steel and aluminum, respectively. I was surprised by this package because I just expected to receive the tape-writer.The tape writer itself has a very sturdy feel to it and is constructed of 95% metal. The cutting arm's rubber handle is also highly gripping.I've used cheap plastic Dymo tape writers for years, but this is my first metal tape writer. After holding it in my hands, I no longer feel reluctant about the purchase price. It appears to be constructed to last a long time.

As the ostensibly lone non-sponsored buyer of these thus far, I will give my opinion because the sponsored reviews didn't really influence my decision to buy. I'll start by saying that I haven't used many of them—only approximately 7 sheets so far—and I haven't had an opportunity to assess how wear-resistant they are, but preliminary findings are excellent. Since I used a decent color laser printer rather than an industrial machine, my results ought to be comparable to those of anyone using a big-box shop printer in the center of the pack. These labels are thinner than the typical Avery label and seem more like a plastic film than paper, which raises questions about their claimed ability to withstand water and tears. The glue is not as powerful as the earlier reviews might lead you to believe, but it is more than adequate for any sensible application. It's tougher than typical Avery paper labels, but not as durable as the shipping labels they sell that are weatherproof. They are not permanent because the labels could be removed while being applied to reposition them. I didn't bother to try to get one off, but the glue does seem to solidify up a bit after being stuck on for a while. The thin LDPE bottles that are being branded are clean and dry when they are applied. I was able to clearly see the pt 4 font on the labels, and the borders are sharp and clear with no smudging or flaking because the labels are naturally glossy, which transfers over to the toner once printed. I am only using the label in the presence of propylene glycol and glycerine, which they have handled well so far, but I am unable to comment on the label's chemical resistance as noted by some other reviewers.In conclusion, the labels are unmistakably an improvement over your standard Avery label; they look nicer, seem more durable, and yield a higher-quality output. Although the cost per label is almost three times greater than conventional labels, they are still reasonably priced for a package of 600 labels. Although I believe they are little overpriced and that some of the promises made in other reviews and by Avery are exaggerated, I will still buy them again because they fulfill my needs better than any other product I have tested and the pricing is still fair.In case Avery happens to read this, I should add that paying 35 people to review your product in no way influences my decision to purchase it. This is true for many other people as well. Most individuals are going to be lot more tolerant when you pay them (free goods is actually no different than payment), which makes their reviews very useless if you're trying to learn a product's excellent and poor attributes and what applications it may work well in and what it may not. only some fodder for thinking. In the end, I decided to try this product since I've previously been happy with Avery items, and I trusted that tradition more than these reviews.Update: I'm still using these labels and haven't run into any problems. For my use, they appear to endure pretty well over time. To avoid the less expensive paper ones is definitely worth the few extra dollars.
