I'm content with the heater I bought.Since it has been so chilly lately, we have been using it a lot in the bedroom during the past several weeks. It rapidly and effectively heated the space. Pros: They do a great job! Our home, a tiny flat with two bedrooms and one bathroom, heated the majority of the space admirably on its own. In essence, it performs as intended and beautifully warms up small spaces.Cons: I needed to keep our reptiles warm over the winter and assumed the space heater would use less electricity, but instead, our electric bill increased (this was a dumb idea, just use heat mats and heat emitters for your tanks). To cut a long story short, unless absolutely necessary, do not leave it running constantly. Additionally, the heat only emanates from the left side of the vent; I'm not sure if perhaps there was a problem with the particular heat I experienced. I had to put the heater on a little platform because it emits downward as well, risking burning the floor.

About two years ago, I bought a Lasko 6435 heater to heat a 12' by 14' room where I spend a lot of time. Additionally, it enables me to keep this area at 70 degrees during the winter, which lasts around 6 months where I reside, while reducing the temperature of the entire house.When I bought it, my goals were to provide a cheap way to heat this space that would be roughly balanced out by decreasing the thermostat in my home by a few degrees. My bedroom is nicely heated by this heater. Because of my home's intermittent heating, I turn it on during the chilly nights. I detest waking up in the morning to a chill that hits you as soon as you uncover the covers.So far, on the higher settings, it can raise the temperature in my small to medium-sized room from 68 F to approximately 80 F (and maybe even higher if I didn't get too hot) in about an hour. The heater does emit a decent volume of deep warmth, and so far we have just tested it a few times to make sure it was functioning properly. Although the heater was usually praised for being quiet, we discovered it to be a little noisier than we had anticipated. The heater was delivered to us without an outside box to safeguard it or prevent someone from simply opening the heater box itself, which is another disturbing aspect of the situation. To prevent anyone from tampering with the box and subsequently the heater, there wasn't even a bit of tape on the flap. It was shipped in a hasty and careless manner, but it was quick and simple. The warmer appears to be a nice little device, but the shipping protection received poor attention.

It has been my heater for four years. Since it has only ever been used in small bedrooms, this evaluation might not apply to you if your room is large.Quality: The heater still functions after four years. It is a nice heater, in my opinion. The heat is distributed throughout my older home, with the exception of the bedrooms. Every night in the colder months, we use the heater as we go to sleep. It hasn't yet broken or stopped working. operates like new.Performance: The heater isn't designed to heat huge areas. It does a good job of heating an insulated bedroom, so when the temperature exceeds the predetermined limit, it shuts off and takes a break. I'd estimate that our bedrooms are between 300 and 350 square feet in size and have no insulation. I would seek for a different heater for anything bigger. There are many possibilities, so don't just pick one you "like" even though it might be effective. Instead, do your study and choose the best heater for the circumstances.**Fact- People burn down houses in unfathomable numbers each year because they purchase these cute little heaters that are too small for the space they are intended to heat, causing them to run continuously until the house catches fire. If you have older electric wiring, this is more likely to happen than newer wiring, but it will heat up until the house catches fire regardless. Therefore, I emphasize that you should purchase the right size and the right source of heat for safety's sake.With my evaluation, I received no compensation whatsoever. It makes me laugh because, in all seriousness, whenever I read reviews, I automatically believe that someone is being cunning and dishonest. Good item if it meets your needs.

After testing it out before winter, everything seemed to be in order. It is a well-made, reliable product, and I hope everything turns out as planned. Since I won't know for certain till the return date has gone, let's wait and see if I'm glad or angry:)I'll send out a follow-up as the cold starts to spread.By the way, this only needs to heat the area around my computer, which is next to a large sliding glass door that frequently lets in drafts. However, when set to low (one of this device's lovely multi-purpose beauties), it appeared to function perfectly.After considerable use, it continues to work really well. I'd like to give a practical suggestion: don't put it too close to you because you could assume it will be warmer. It's untrue. Place the unit about 3 feet away from you if you're sitting in a chair since else the heat will come from underneath you. Three feet will allow the heat to reach you. Hope this was useful.

This was actually purchased yesterday, shipped to me yesterday, and plugged in in my classroom this morning. This item is scorchingly hot. My room is 20 by 15 feet. I carefully followed the directions to set the thermostat to the highest setting and to the warmest setting. I'm not kidding when I say that within three minutes, I felt uneasy. At some time, I'll probably move this little man to the opposite side of the room or at the very least farther away from my desk. The heat permeates the entire space.
