I have only recently started changing the oil. In a high pressure air compressor, it is employed. This oil was suggested for this pump. I was hesitant to use synthetic or conventional compressor oil because those are often used in compressors that can produce 150 PSI of pressure. This one can get quite heated and hits 4500 PSI. It is cooled by running water through a pump in a bucket of water to regulate the temperature. I kept a tight eye on it the first few days to see whether it would get discolored, but so far it is appearing normal. In order to remove any manufacturing imperfections, I might alter it anyway.

I bought a used log splitter with a 5 gallon hydraulic oil capacity. I removed the old hydro fluid from the splitter, which is around 18 years old, and changed the filter. I discovered some oil seepage where the pump seal is while I was checking the other components. After wiping that away, the leak started up again a few hours later. I didn't want to dig into the pump and attempt to replace a nearly 20-year-old pump seal that I wasn't even sure was still available. I decided to purchase a quart of Lucas booster and halt leak instead.For the highest dose, I combined 32 ounces of the product with 4.5 gallons of hydro oil. The Lucas product astonished me with how thick it was. I plugged it in, turned on the splitter, and left it running for a while. I continued by repeatedly moving the piston back and forth. I used it to split three cords of wood before turning it off. The pump seal was still oozing when I tested it. The following morning, I examined it again and it was STILL LEAKING! Argh!a two-day change After another two hours of use, I cleaned the splitter thoroughly and put it back in storage for about a week. When I walked outside to check again, I discovered NO LEAK! The pump seal was dry after I gave it a wipe. For another hour or so, I used the splitter, and there was still no leak. It may have taken that long to condition the previous seal or the product may have finally found its way into the seal, but either way, it's working well.Give the product time to work if you have a leak before discarding it. performs wonderfully. Only 2 cans were required to complete my tailgate and both rear tail lights as far as I could reach. will need to be done once I have drilled a few holes in the truck. It should take approximately 4 washes to remove the most of the road salt and dirt before I coat, so I've been driving the vehicle to a car wash to get the underneath cleaned. A number of my buddies want to paint their cars and trucks, so I bought a spray gun and will use a gallon can to make it simple and effective. NJ people use a lot of salt. I have already replaced all of my fuel and brake lines. Coating the truck sooner would have been much less expensive. My outlay for these lines was over $1,000.

Even though this product has received ratings ranging from 2 stars to 5, I'll have to admit that it actually worked in my wife's 2004 Trailblazer. Nearly all of the tappet sounds has disappeared. It was very quiet as I only took it to the bank. I do belong to the group of senior citizens who continue to drive cars. BUT I'm careful with my vehicles. I bought this car from a woman who said it had been well maintained and was a local vehicle, but she was lying. On this car, I've pretty much fixed everything, but the tappet noise was really bothering me. I chose this instead of undergoing an overhaul, which would have cost more than the car is worth. It was effective.In my view, you should get rid of an automobile if the cost of repairs exceeds the car's value. After two years and slightly over $4,800 invested in the vehicle, it still looks fantastic and performs well as a daily driver.
