Even after reading the evaluations, I had some reservations about how well it would function. I'm so pleased I bought these wipes, though, guy! Our front-loading washing machine was a gift from the previous owners of our home, who didn't seem to clean much. It was the same with the washing machine. In the machine, there was a ton of mold and mildew (I think they left wet things sitting in there a lot). The wipe was practically black and disgusting when I ran it around and under the seal, and I was going to post a picture of what it looked like, but nobody wants to see that! I was surprised by how much dirt these wipes managed to remove because I had just thoroughly cleaned the machine and had doubts that the wipes could remove any more dirt. Boy, was I mistaken! I used two wipes to thoroughly clean the seal, and they were both nearly black afterward. I'm relieved that my washing machine is now as clean as it can be, and I'll continue using these every month to clean it out and maintain it free of mold. I'm astonished at how effective these wipes are!

My Samsung High Efficiency Washing Machine is two years old. I adore it! However, my laundry started to smell awful after approximately six months, especially the towels! I've never used a tablet to clean a washing machine before, but ours was really gross. These eliminated the odor! I had to run two cycles (using four tablets total) since even after the first cycle, I could still detect some stink. Warning: After the second cleaning cycle, I cleaned sheets, and as soon as we put them on my son's bed, all three of us broke out in itches. I noticed that the components were an annoyance when I looked at the packaging. No big issue, we all washed off. made a sheet change. What I believe happened was that my stupid washer didn't complete the entire cleaning cycle, leaving cleaning residue that I was unable to see. I just wanted to remind everyone to make sure the washer runs the entire cycle! The fact that they are all wrapped in plastic, which I personally dislike when products claim to be eco-friendly, is another slightly off-putting aspect of these. I've tried pure bleach cycles and the Tide washing machine packets in the past to try to eliminate the smell emanating from our washing machine. Nothing appeared to function. For a few days, the stench was typically concealed, but after doing a load, it would return in full force. I looked around in my neighborhood for this item before discovering it on Amazon. This is effective stuff! It still has a faint bleach scent, and I have to run two additional washing cycles to get rid of it, but the smell was permanently eliminated. I perform a fast clean cycle every few weeks, and if I notice anything, I'll add this Clorox cleanser to the clean cycle. Fantastic product! I'm so glad we have a solution now!Quick Tip: Before pouring, shake the bottle vigorously.UPDATE: Two years later, the rubber gasket on my front-loading washer has developed dark mold stains. My washing machine even has an Affresh cycle on it, which it claims I should use on a monthly basis. So I reasoned that I might as well purchase a three-month supply. I didn't replenish the stock once it was gone because I wasn't convinced it had any effect. Well, it certainly does. The lining surrounding the door of my washing machine was slimy, the inside smelled strange, and the clothing didn't smell as clean. I did get another three-month supply, and after using one of these pills and an Affresh cycle, the washing machine had a fresh scent! After we left some of our dirty clothing just hanging around in the washer for too long before washing, our new upright and stacked washer/dryer was leaving our garments feeling terrible and musty. All of our white clothes and white towels were able to be bleached to remove the odor, but what about the rest of them? How many of our garments are colored, like 80%? When you didn't start the article with this information and didn't waste all of our time, money, and hope, I was initially irritated.
