Safe Homes International 55724 Door Reinforcer Review:

Because I wasn't home to respond to a carbon monoxide alert for the entire condo complex, first responders forced open my front door, damaging the door jamb in the process. I searched online for simple solutions to this problem. The damaged wood pieces needed to be put back together, which required wood glue and a lot of perseverance. Unfortunately, nothing was absolutely accurate. The installation of Strikemaster 2 Pro then followed. I did everything as instructed—drilled the holes, put in the screws, etc.—but when I attempted to close the door, I discovered that it was somewhat thicker in certain places. The door still needs some work to close, despite my efforts to level off some of the spots with a hammer and wooden block. The dead bolt and main lock fit like a glove after it is closed; in fact, they fit even better than before. The door installation was horribly botched by the apartment builders, who even dented the original door. As the first resident of this brand-new apartment, I am aware of the door's "history" because I insisted that it be fixed before closing. I then replaced the hinge screws as well, but I was perplexed by the fact that I had six extra 2.5" screws. I then found those are necessary for the frame-side of the hinges after reading the fine print.I considered mounting the door edge pro, but I need to first determine what color the door paint is. It would stand out like a sore thumb and draw attention if it didn't, and the HOA would have a fit about the hue.Overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars; installation is simple if you've never had a door kicked in or are working with a new door frame. Otherwise, results may vary.

Door Devil Home Doorframe - Jamb Reinforcement White Review:

5 Stars for Function and Design5 stars for the guidance and assistance offered4.5 for Installation Ease4.0 for Hardware QualityAlthough this product is more expensive than the competition, it is well crafted and created as a system, not just a collection of three parts. For the most part, the bundled hardware was above average (they include square drive screws for the strike plate vs. Phillips head).Square drive screws, which are meant to replace one screw in each of your door hinges, should have been included. The supplied Phillips head screws stripped more easily than I had anticipated. To finish installing the provided, hinge side door bolts, you will also need to buy a spade bit.Although you can install the strike plate with better than average accuracy by simply taking your time, I would advise investing in a self-centering drill bit. Additionally, if you're a novice DIYer, this product offers a ton of online installation videos from the manufacturer and customers. You should really upgrade to something like the door devil if your external door and frame are standard, builder quality. One more thing. Given the price of the door devil, it would be wonderful if they gave customers who bought within, say, 30 days, a discount on their second and third purchases rather than just when numerous units are acquired at once. I wanted to make sure the door devil suited my front door before purchasing second and third units for my other outer doors because it is a bespoke door and the door that really needed the reinforcing.

Door Devil - Home Door Frame/Door Jamb Reinforcement - White Review:

For further security, we have placed door devils in our brand-new home in addition to our alarm system. We just just relocated to an older house with shifting foundation and numerous door modifications. The door devil is ideal for filling such holes and adding additional sturdiness to the door frame. Although we have never had someone try to break in, we believe that this will surely deter them.

A valence must be hung over a metal door. Buy the 40-inch vinyl mini blinds with magnets to go with it. The lack of drilling, tape, or holes was a fantastic discovery.

8″ FrameSaver Exterior Door Frame Rot Repair Kit (4-9/16") Review:

Since this was my first time purchasing this item, some of my remarks are merely my personal opinions based on what I anticipated versus what I actually received. The BETTER: It appears to be of good quality. unquestionably not weak. The vertical design and profile complemented my frame perfectly.Additionally, the groove for the weatherstripping is already cut. less expensive than replacing the door frame entirely. The CON:It must be PERFECTLY trimmed to fit the door frame and the product since it sits on top of the door sill. It took a lot of time to accurately measure and cut this.Other remarks:In order to exactly meet the slope of your door sill, the product must be cut at an angle. Since the product's only use is to fit at the bottom of the door frame, I naturally assumed it would have one side already cut at an angle.

Since this was my first time purchasing this item, some of my remarks are merely my personal opinions based on what I anticipated versus what I actually received. The GOOD: It appears to be of reasonable quality. Definitely not flimsy, completely matched my current frame in terms of vertical shape and profile, had the weatherstripping groove already cut, and costs less than replacing the entire door frame. The CON: -Since it mounts on top of the door sill, you must EXACTLY trim both the door frame and the item itself to make it fit. It took a lot of time to accurately measure and cut this. For the product to properly match the slope of your door sill, it must be cut at an angle. Since the product's only use is to fit at the bottom of the door frame, I naturally assumed it would have one side already cut at an angle.
